Does your vehicle have Harmon Kardon. I have a 330ci with HK and I read it’s more complicated. Awesome video by the way. The other ones out there are like 30 minutes long lol.
Yes mine has HK. It makes no difference in the install. Only one that makes it more difficult is the factory nav option.

Great idea on Dynavin bracket especially for the clean USB ports to access wired AA/CarPlay. I heard the buttons & screens do not dim with all other interior lighting when headlights come on, is this true?
Yes the brightness is constant on the avin unit. For me i keep my lights maxed so it always matches but Avin doesn’t have any options to reduce the light buttons
@@cs.studios I have the Avant 4 and mine does indeed dim when I turn on my headlights. It's still brighter than I want it to be at night, but it certainly switches.
Do you know if the wifi antenna and gps antenna are necessary to install if I'm going to be running everything off my phone anyways? The reason I ask is because I removed my cheap aftermarket radio to see if they left the bracket intact. It doesn't look like there's a lot of room in there to shove all of these wires back behind the unit. Thank you for making this video so I can save money on the install!!
The antennas are not needed if you will just use carplay or android auto for gps etc. however im fairly confident you will still be able to fit everything. There’s a decent amount of space back ther
The wifi antenna is needed to update the AutoPlay app. It gets updates every few months.
Hey, I don't understand why you need the HVAC relocation kit. Does the HVAC controls not fit in the sunglasses spot without it?
You do not need the bracket. You can stuff the hvac unit into sunglass compartment, it just won’t be 100% flush but should look fine. I wanted a good fit and look.
Did you run into any problems connecting the wires to the cigarette lighter? Because I got the bracket and the red wire dosent seem to fit and I don’t want to force it on and bend it. Also should I take out the cigarette lighter fuse in case?
It was hard for me as well but I got it in. Just work it slowly
All the connections are right for the Dynavin bracket relocator and cigarette lighter. I get power from the cigarette lighter, but nothing from the USB charging port. Any help appreciated!!

Definitely get PX6 model and the wireless carplay if you have an iphone. I got backup camera as well. Im thinking of ordering ibus as well separately. Most things you can buy after purchase as well

Hi im from Poland, I have the same radio, do you have the Fader and L / R balance working? Because it doesn't work very well for me. But all 4 speakers work ... you hear the sound.
Yes all of my audio options work. Fader balance eq. I would try contacting the manufacturer to see if they have any solutions
What kinda setup did you pick when buying the avant 4?
I bought PX6 model, backup camera and wireless carplay adapter
Did the CarPlay adapter come with the Avant 4?
No, has to be bought separately. Technically you can add it as an option and it will ship together.
Did you have any trouble connecting bluetooth? I cannot discover the device with any of my phones, nor can the device see the phone. Thanks.
I do not but i use carplay anyways. You might need to factory reset

@@cs.studios I plugged the cigarette lighter with the media cable that dynavin included in the hvac relocation bracket for a avin unit. I check if it was charging like you did and nothing. Does it need to be plugged into the stereo first?
No it should work without avin since it uses the cigarette lighter power cable. The “charging” port should work. The top one uses avin port so that one requires avin. One of them should work if both are not working then maybe try getting a replacement dynavin bracket

Really depends what you want. Definitely get the PX6 Android 10 version. From there you can get wireless carplay if needed.
