I need some help I have the 2000 e46 with Busines Navi and hamankardon system. on the radio I have only the blue connector. When I plug it in the radio works but display it’s like the backlight lights up without any image. The white connector is missing what’s your advice and which way to go .? Cause at the moment I don’t have anything displaying on the screen.

Thank you for your awesome video. I found it realy easy to understand and install my retro fit harness, cheers. For some reason my stock 6 stacker cd player shows on the screen but music won't play. Do you know why this may be? There is a black, brown and yellow wire that is not connected to the harness could this be why the 6 stacker won't work? Thank you Dougy.

I have a problem with the sound of the music .. it is not heard so it is heard the sound is interrupted .. I found out that the problem is a module bm54..but it is not in the trunk, e46 coupe 2002..if you know where it is please tell me .

I went the opposite direction. I took my sat nav out and ran the cables to the front and put in a andriod system. But can't figure out why my steering wheel controls ain't working. Anyone try this? Or have any ideas on what I'm not seeing?

amp no change, but in order for navi screen to work, you need gps computer. I will add part number to description of video.

Was the entire interior stripped specifically for this navigation installation?

it was stripped for full interior grey to cinnamon conversion swap. Not needed for the navi retrofit job. Just need to remove front seat and rear panel. Harness just tucks under carpets.

I have a 2001 also with hk business cd. I put a android radio in but it doesn’t pick up the reverse for the head unit. Is that because it’s a 2001 without navigation?
Been trying to figure it out I want the unit to sense the reverse like it’s supposed to with k or I bus?
I know this is old video but if you see this please let me know if you know anything thanks.

U have already the harness for the business radio so you are ready to slide the android unit witch it fit very easy and it is a modern technology!
All this scrap metal for this old things!!
Later the main navigation becomes surely pics failure and bm53 unit fail after couple months amp also 🤯🤦🏼‍♂️

You cannot even get map updates for those old nav units. They are paper weights right now.

Why not just buy a plug and play unit? Many are available for the E46 models. Way too much effort.

There is no simple plug and play to go from a standard unit to nav.
