The actors in this show never cease to amaze me, the production and the acting is just amazing
Lol
These "I shouldn't be alive" re-enactment's are 1st class👍
I can't get enough
Neither can I.
I just never stop learning from them, and I also wonder what experts on survival would have done or can now teach us as lessons of the what to do and what not to do, just in case of this or that. At the same time let's hope we'll never need those survival skills and tricks.
Why didn't they write SOS in big letters on the beach?
I love watching stories of survival bc not only are these ppl incredibly inspiring for enduring some of the most horrible "freak accidents", or surviving someone on a murderous rampage...most importantly it gives us the tools that could possibly save our OWN lives if we are in a similar situation. The ingenuity and pure determination these ppl have shown on these episodes (and other shows/documentaries)would give us the most important tool tho...and that is HOPE❤
I dont know who is producing these episodes but let me give u a high 5 right now. You really do get into the story...
Good thing about these videos... you know they survived!! Because they're doing the interview.. but the story so tense and supense.. you keep watching
There was one story with two guys in it but only one guy talking.
His friend died
@@Shay45 which one
This was a great production. Even though these guys were stuck on the island they never lost their humor
This is what is so fascinating about them.
They also never blamed each other, they just kept on protecting and helping each other in an unsaid humored, pleasant and loving way really.
It's fascinating.
One thing they had helping this is that they weren't injured of course. That would have made it all more serious for sure.
But nevertheless, I think it was beautiful to see how they never lost the camaraderie between them.
So glad u made it home. Hope u'll never engage in too risky adventures anymore.
@@MegaMARLEEN1 at least they were in the recreation.
I thought it was just me lol they had me laughing thru the whole recreation 😂
@@MegaMARLEEN1 are you talking about the reenactment or like what actually happened
Yeah, they were really funny 😂🤣

🤣🤣🤣🤣
Probably to get some of the crab juice but still 🤣
When ya gotta eat, ya eat anything, cooked or not lol 🤷♀️
Desperate time’s calls for desperate measures
This series has made me resolve to be 100% prepared to handle anything that could go wrong in any given situation, even if the risks are low.
Me too, now I never leave the house without a sleeping bag, tent, 3 day food supply, 3 gallon cans of water, sunscreen, firelighters, sat phone, hunting knife, flares, mozzie spray, shotggun & ammo, spare clothes and a flashlamp, I'm prepared for any sitiuation but it's a bit awkward getting on buses and that wedding I was at yesterday, but hey, at least Im ready .

This is great! Now I know the top of the cactus is a no, the bottom of the cactus is a no. Keep to the middle of the cactus 😂

Pathetic...
Well he has like 10 legs I only have 2...
hilarious!!
"It's back. Pretend like we haven't seen him."
"How do you know it's the same one?"
"I'd know that crab anywhere"
😂😂😂
That one was funny!
YOU NAILED ONE OF MANY HILARIOUS PARTS OF THIS STORY!!! 🤣😂
🤣🤣
Awesome episode! I don't know what was funnier, the cactus or the crab. Thank goodness they kept a sense of humor to pull them through
Hammerhead sharks are not "man-eaters"! There is no record of a hammerhead killing anyone. I love this show - the acting and reenactments are top-notch but they always demonize animals, even when the people never have any contact with them.
These guys are huge drama queens.
@@johnstory2996 hahhaahahhaah
You ever think that theres no record because the sharks ate all the record keepers? Hmmm?
Would you swim with a group of hammerheads?
I'm so addicted to these stories but by far this was the 1st one with some humour to it.
🤣🤣🤣
Wow, what an amazing story. I could really relate to their ordeal through the way it was retold. Brought tears to my eyes when they were rescued ❤️.
Just a shame they were such morons.
They had this huge fear of hammerhead sharks and thought they were “man eaters” when in reality there are *zero* known hammerhead shark fatalities in history. 😂
In other words they probably could have swam to safely just fine but were trapped due to their own ignorance.
19:45 “Don’t Indians get water from cactus ?
Wait..aren’t cactus protected species ?”
Best line of this show..
Lol "species"
I thought it was common knowledge that you get water from 🌵 cactuses?
watching them Party in the Vehicle with food and cola made me very happy
It made me suspicious, where did they get the money ?
I think they must've left their wallets or money in the car before sailing.
I was expecting them to suddenly die from massive sugar spike....
@@dougquinton4040 Refeeding syndrome takes a bit longer to set in. Closer to a week
The humor of these guys save there lives
This is the funniest reenactment of ,I shouldn't be alive. Great job from the producers/ actors. These guys were hilarious even in the mist of death. Kudo s
Best motto when adventuring: Expect the best, plan for the worst.
Expect the worst and hope for the best OR Plan for the worst and hope for the best
I watched these programs to make sure that these people somehow survived. But on top of that, I am trying to get as much knowledge as I can in case I find myself in some of these same situations. I know that the odds are against me being in this position but knowledge never hurt anyone
My feeling exactly!! Chances are one will never have to use the information learned from watching these survival stories BUT what if….I mean truly…what IF…?? Love this series!!!
watch bear grylls he teaches allot for when u are in those situations Man vs wild
They could have some water with condensation, even if it's not much, here it's vital so... They had plastic, sea water, and cactus could help too with that, but they didn't knew about it.
Knowledge really change the outcome, but it mostly preventing that matter that greatly change the done I think.
If you go to Periscope films or Nuclear Vault, there are quite a bit of “how to survive” military training videos from WW2. It’s pretty interesting.
@@afhb7447 You should look up about drinking cactus juice. Everything I’ve read says it makes dehydration worse. I’m curious how much they drank.
I’m Mexican and I have to say this: the only people that celebrates 5 de mayo are gringos lol 😂 In Mexico nobody actually celebrates it. And no, it is not Independence Day as most people in the US think. México Independence Day is 16 of September.
And what about the flamenco music? 😂😂 Those Americans are really ignorant.

Yeah that and the crab chasing killed me 😂
This story is amazing guys. Your are hilarious when I was watching you doesn,t matter what critical was your situation I was smailing, laghing and I was living with you that experience. Hahaha!!!! You are wonderful gent.
25:00 - they are commenting how dumb crab is - yet they are unable to outsmart it for some time :-D.
You're both amazing men, stronger than I am. I hope Geert knows he is an elite human being and a hero, he should be proud of what he did. A great great man and friend
This was absolutely hilarious. So far I've watched 11 episodes and this one was pure entertainment! My favorite by far . . . so far!
I wonder if they asked these fishermen an adress so they could pay them later or send a token of their gratitude .These men after al saved their lives.

@@wasweiich3459 yes it is. It's a re enactment of what happened.
Hammerhead sharks are not 'man-eaters'. In fact there hasn't been a single fatality from hammerhead sharks in recorded history and only 17 attacks in total. They're harmless.
They made the same mistake calling hammerheads dangerous in the episode of the divers drawn away from the boat by a current.
Whatever is inedible in your stash becomes bait. Cookies.
You got fire, you got water, you can collect steam condensation?
They are not harmless... They are just known to be slightly more chill than a tiger or bull.. but still aggressive given the time of day and how they decide to be that day
I don't think they ment hammerheads they only showed them.Any shark can be dangerous & doubt anyone would want to swim 12 miles with alot of ANY SHARK in the waters.
Not everybody knows how to do that
Wrong, they’re dangerous sharks
I’ve learnt so many survival tips from this channel 🦀
SAME!!
I wonder if they ever got the names of those two fisherman who saved their lives and tried getting in touch with them. I know if someone saved my life like that I’d want to know who they are and stay in contact with them for the rest of my life.
Another thing to consider is fisherman culture. Or sailors in general, saving stranded people is a given that needs no thanks.
These guys had me cracking up! Pelicans don't go kayaking Mark! 🤣🤣
Fantastic story Fantastically re-created. 👏
That first drink of water must have been immense.
"Would you be at peace with yourself if you had a head like that" 😂

3 days? Check out the poor guy on the dinghy for 78 days.....same series....he put these 2 to shame. Glad they made it home safely though 🙏
that one was great alright. the shark attack episode was the worst tho. brutal.
It’s so emotional when they finally get rescued
Them eating the different part of the cactus has me rolling 🤣 😂 💀
Reminds me of the 2 guys from Weekend At Bernie’s
This two cousins are so funny, i laughed out my kidney.😁I think he have seen me the crab🦀😂how can something small ran so fast.🤣🤣🤣
2 of the luckiest men alive! Those fishermen are heroes 🙌
Hammer heads aren't really man eaters tho? They all got psyched out for nothing
Anytime someone is in the ocean on this show they like to bring up man eating hammerheads 😂
Wrong. They are the most dangerous. Look it up. I didn’t use to think so either.
@@Art-qy6gd I'm a diver and an attack is either mistaken identity or you have something they want (spear fishing). There have only been 17 recorded attacks by Hammerheads since 1580, all non fatal. Hardly a "man eater".
We see bull sharks when chumming all the time where I am and even then, they could honestly care less about you. They're just there for the fish parts.
It's easy to sit in front of a computer and judge their attempts to survive. 👎
@@monaminas I dive 2-3 times a week. That's not me sitting behind a computer, it's me knowing what I'm talking about. The swim would have killed them, not the sharks.

Super...we want more of these documentaries 💕💕
for all these survival stories, there are a 1000s of people right now stranded in places who will die and not get rescued.
This is the only one I have watched an laugh.... these guys are something else.
The one with the Larry guy and his friend kayaking was kind of ridiculous. 😂
So this is the least gripping of all the ones I've watched, in comparison with the others it's a comedy show, nice to have a bit of light relief.
"Pelicans don't go kayaking!"🤣
Those two men saved them from certain death. The dancing and reasoning with that funny little crab was so hilarious. The last scene where they are looking into the sun while driving and you see his face morph from a weary smile to more serious, that was dramatic.
Watching it run away was hilarious.
Burning the boat debris, especially the plastic stuff would have made some nice black smoke I bet.
Those actors were the Best. They were actualky funny!
I'm so happy they made it!'❤
"you mentioned sharks you didn't say hammer heads."
"Would you be at peace if you had a head like that"😂😂😂
It is the first time I laugh watching an episode of ISBA.

they're on a desert island with NO food or water and heat up to 110F a day... why dont you try it if u think its so easy
@@calinmarie5974 They learned to take water with them.
Acting is phenomenal, as usual for them. My favourite is still the photographer teen guy who fell down a cliff, broke both his legs and essentially crawled back up the massive cliff with his broken body to eventually reach the top and then crawl to the nearby forest and get saved by hikers.
Chills, i tell ya.
who are reading the comments while watching? 😅
Guilty.
I'm not.

Me too/. You learn things like hammerheads aren’t dangerous.

My favorite episode. These guys are funny
Uhg. I've dealt with the sand flies before.
I use to spend 2 weeks at my family owned beach house in Cocoa Beach Florida. When I was 14yo I was super into using my cell phone. I would talk on it all night and the only place I'd get reception was on the beach.
I would stand out in the beach at night near the sand dunes and would get eaten alive by these sand flies.
The bites leave big welts and are extremely itchy. I wasn't able to sleep for 2 nights straight because the itch was so intense. I tried everything to get rid of it from home remedies to prescription drugs and nothing worked.
By night 3 and no sleep I realized the only way to get them to stop itching was to break them open. I spent a lot of time breaks open each and every one of them. Finally got some sleep.
That was 15 years ago and I still have scars from them on my feet, ankles legs and a few on my arms.
Oh man. 😳 Thanks for the real life relief tip though.
Their sense of humor was amazing 😅😅
Nice guys! Humour is a life saver in most if not all casss but who gets married at 17?
Couldn't even drive!!
I'm glad they both made it.
All these episodes always have a plane that goes by lol… but that second or third one is always right on time lol
this is why i play video games and never leave my house, if you go out looking for an adventure. Yous gone find wan
Hmm, according to Google, there have been no verified hammerhead fatalities on humans. Injuries, yes. Why does the survivor state that they are man-eaters?
Too much but so happy you made it to tell your story. 🇨🇦
When venturing outdoors:
Carry a satellite phone in waterproof bag that floats with extra batteries, and crank charger, secured to your waist or chest at all times!
As a bonus: A lighter, space blankets, and flares!
great stuff as ever ✌
It seems like every story, there is a moment where they believe they are being rescuers, but it turns out either being the moon, or a bird, or a boat/plane that doesn’t spot them. They all say it was the most defeating moment of the experience.
Not the gringos from San Diego thinking that Baja Californians celebrate 5 de Mayo, and also, as a person that has been every year to Bahia de los angeles i can assure you, fisherman never take a day off
Great episode
This is one of the funniest ones, I love this episode haha
Camera crew could have at least helped 🤨
My thoughts exactly!
What are you talking about?? Is that a joke...
Maddie B. Apparently it was a joke to the cameramen. Smh...
@@breetopkuschi9657 snap!! 🤣
of course, the camera crew retire to the restaurant/bar of their hotel after a long, hard day's filming in scorching heat
'It will be hot the whole time'. This statement alone is enough to prove total inexperience about the wilderness anywhere. Temperatures can drop to near freezing in the many areas of the tropics in the middle of summer.
Bless them both
At least they kept their sense of humor. They made me laugh.
Shows the importance of having a Plan of action in place with trusted people. I'll call, text, communicate at xyz time. I'm expected to be back at x time if not try calling me x amount of times then call the proper authorities. Have a "72 hour bag" with the basic typical supplies and tools in line with the 10 C's along with food water medical navigation etc. Specific Environment, climate and seasonal considerations taken into account. Granted the vast majority of survival situations are just inconvenient camping. With the water situation and storm obviously what I laid out isn't perfect but you could secure at least two life jackets to your bag so it floats and hang on like a tick on a dog.
My gramma built a small raft and used her wooden leg as an oar. And to beat the sharks away.
WOW. Glad you survived... Did you meet up with the two great guy's who rescued you!!!!
Love the music in this
I always learned that you can gather sweet water by digging a hole in the ground, put something to catch water on the bottom. Cover the hole with something like plastic, and in 10 or more hours you with have some water. Small amounts of drops, but they might just save your life.
Yeah and even to escape the heat it might have been better to dig a hole for your body (upright)
These guys need to go on the road.
They’re hilarious!
no they r annoying
@@Jessica-to8um im talking about the actors and the way they did the acting job
They had a paper book and matches but ate raw crab.
Cinco de mayo is not a Mexican holiday
There's ALWAYS a storm.....the people on this show always go out when there is a bad storm.
I don't think a catamaran was the best vessel choice. Adventurers just don't have much common sense.
They couldn't possibly have been as stupid as this portrayal made them look. And how would they have not checked the weather forecast for the area before actually leaving? They had the means to make water by using the cloth from the sails and their own clothes, could have been sucking on a pebble to keep their mouths moist, and the very first thing they should have done was attempt to climb the cliff while they were still strong enough to see if there was better shade or even water from the recent rain maybe collected in some dips in the rocks. And if there was no wood then how the heck did they have a fire going? Did they leave their wallets or money in the truck? How did they buy all that stuff for the ride back?
One doesn't starve to death in 3 or 4 days either. These two need to study some survival/bushcraft before they ever go "adventuring" again! LOL
yep the guy said he was a rock climber but he didnt even climb the cliff. Maybe there could of been someone camping on the other side
@@tanyabrown9839 He had no gear idiot
