Doctors are not taught about diet except for the most basic high school level, and they aren't taught about holistic or natural healing either - they are as ignorant or even more so than the average person, because their curriculum is sponsored by big pharma. All their know is giving you drugs to cover up symptoms or cutting out an offending dysfunctional part.
      The most knowledgeable people on diet are usually dieticians and chiropractors dieticians because that is their major in college, and chiropractors because they deal with natural/holistic type of healing and the diet aspect is a natural progression of their natural/holistic healing methods

    I'm so glad you mentioned the quality of the actual fruits and vegetables themselves! Born and raised in America, so I didn't realize what my mom said when she complained that American produce isn't as delicious as in Haiti. Now, I live in Japan, and the difference is truly shocking. The color of the egg yolk, the richness of the vegetables, the sweetness of the fruit, the juiciness of the chicken... everything is so delicious. From the outside, you might think that Japan serves small food portions, but honestly, it fills you!

I was warned that if I went to Portlands sister city in Japan to teach, the teachers room would be full of smoke cuz the men smoke like crazy. For that very reason, I simply could not go. Anyway just curious what you're doing there and how do you like it-- above and beyond the food which I gather is tremendously delicious ☺️

      When you do the blood work check your levels of vitamin d and iron, becouse those can accumulate and cause huge issues, much more so than slight insufficiency. Often when you have D deficiency. If I were you, I'd also check B12 levels, becouse it's also important for your nervous system and absorption of vit d is correlated to the presence of b12 and sometimes people have issues with both. I'm no doctor, just a person who had issues with these deficiencies and was diagnosed by my family doctor.

    • @daniby9894
      @daniby9894 4 місяці тому +8

      @iliana2003 Well, in theory vitamin C and B12 both play a role in iron absorbtion, just like the sun, the vitamin K, magnesium play a role in vitamin D and calcium absorbtion, but that doesn't mean you need to always take magnesium with your vitamin d... Now the thing is some people may be more or less defficient. Like last time I was anemic, it was after a long period of digestive issues and inspite that my diet was healthy, plus my periods are super heavy sometimes, becouse I'm getting closer to menopause and also absurdely the more anemic you get, the heavier your periods get...so I had developed some deficiencies and turned out
      having low B12 aswell.
      That said there are things that can interfere with your iron absorbtion like coffeen (careful with coffie, tea chocolate and avoid altoghether energy drinks) and also dairy which you don't need to eliminate, just limit tem, like if I'm having a meal rich in iron and taking supplements, I won't be having any dairy two hours before and after, my coffie has been limited to one in the morning after breakfast, but it's not the end of the world if you have another in the afternoon. Also if you combine in your meals iron rich food from animal sources(more bio available) and iron rich vegetables (less bio available), more iron gets absorbed. Also throw in some seasonal fruit and veggies that are rich in vitamin C, aspecially in your iron rich meals, like you can drizzle your stake or fish with some fresh lemon juice, if you like, or have an orange or a kiwi at the end of the meal instead of a desert, or have some cabbage salad... It really is a game changer in pulling up your iron levels in matter of a few months, but what's even better is that it making you feel much less tired in no time, like in my case I felt a slight improvement in my tiredness as first week was passing.

    I love that this isn't just a supplement recommendation list for a bunch of random symptoms, but that you actually explain sometimes what causes the symptom itself, give common causes for each deficiency, and perhaps best of all, you always recommend food before supplements for each one.

      @UCmixQK0oOy1Izw_bGzWyPdA you can even just look it up online and look at multiple credible sources instead of a random person on yt thats not linking any, but tldr;
      most common cause of this is previous inflammation/damage to your finger/nail. another cause can be an allergic reaction, but thats also unlikely.
      zinq is also very dangerous in too high dosages, so its better to check your bloodstats before you try things like zinq anyways.

    Hi Dr! I’m a Cosmetologist and I have a contradicting opinion on the first topic. While I was in school studying nails, we went over nail diseases and deformities, and we were taught that white spots on nails are actually due to something called Leukonychia which is an injury to the nail matrix. The matrix is the part of the nail/finger that creates the cells to form the nail plate and when that gets injured it can cause little white spots on the nail. Injury could be anything from bumping the backs of your fingers to closing a door on your fingers. Anyways I guess I’m saying this to let other people know in the comment section that the white spots on your nails might be a zinc deficiency but it could also just be because you’re clumsy.

      Be sure to supplement zinc and iodine - modern factory farming has depleted nearly all trace minerals from the soil. While you were talking about fruits and vegetables, I remembered my dad telling me how much he always complained about the fruit and vegetables in the USA when he first moved from his home. When he went back home to visit his parents, he ran to the backyard and started shoving tomatoes into his mouth and just devouring them. My grandma asked him, “What are you doing? Do they not have tomatoes in America?” He responded, “No. Not like these.”

      10,000 IU vitamin D is too much. According to Dr John Campbell that much D deposits too much Calcium in cells. To balance that you have to take Zinc too. I really don't know if all that is real science. I've been having a hard time believing any health tips from UA-cam doctors. Non youtube doctors often don't agree. Who is right and who is wrong? Here in the UK, it is now extremely difficult to get a face to face appointment with a doctor. Most of the time, they will call back and speak over the phone, to see if you are sick enough to warrant an in person check up. Most people don't know what symptoms to look for. They just tell the doctor "I don't feel well" or "I've got pain in my back". If the doctor could examine them properly, he could see all the signs explained in this video and try to do something about them. The problem then is that he would probably prescribe some medication rather than give nutritional advice.
    Some Americans seem to think that the UK's health system is great. If you come to the UK on holiday, have an accident and get treated for free, I guess it is. But if you're waiting over a year for surgery, not so much. Our system is broken.
    Everyone should learn about and be responsible for their own health.

And I've battled depression my whole life. However, during the summer, or when I live somewhere where it's sunnier, I'm always happier. Winter rolls around or I live somewhere where it's colder, I'm absolutely miserable. Not just mentally, but physically as well. Extreme fatigue, muscle twitches, headaches, stomach problems. This is actually incredible and verified. I suffered for 20 years of flaking skin nearby my nose and forehead. I went to several dermatologist, every time some different drugs to kill mycosis, working for a while but 2 months without pills all the symptoms are back. 2 years ago went to a doctor who gave me 100+ different blood tests. The only wrong value I had was Omega 3 omega 6 balance (omega 3 deficiency). I spoke with 3 doctors about that but everyone told me it was not related at all to my skin and I had no corrective actions to take.. I decided on my own to buy supplements, like 30 dollars for one year. Took the first omega 3 pills along the mycosis suppressors and of course I had results, but in my mind these were drugs related only. After a short time, considering the doctors said the omega 3 was nothing important, I stopped taking omega 3, and again my skin condition floating every 3 months. 2 years later, just a month ago I went to the drug store to get again mycosis suppressors, but it was shut. Then I came back home and gave another try to these omega 3 that now are about to expire. I noticed my skin getting way better in just 2 weeks. All the symptoms are gone. No extra drugs but just the omega 3. Now I came across this video by chance, and my god what a revelation. How come no doctor, blood test in hand, would suggest omega 3 integration?? Cost me 5000 dollars of doctors and 300 dollars every third month in drugs only, and got lots of side effects. The food we eat it's 90% of our health. I hope more and more people can solve their problems with these suggestions!

      So does Dr. Berg. But only if you're willing to buy his products that you almost certainly don't need. If you think you're deficient in vitamins, get tested.

You address the issues I'm going through while I'm going through them often and I know I'm not the only one who has had the same experience. I've read it in the comments.

    A high-quality B-Complex supplement is essential. Make sure it contains Benfotiamine, Choline, Niacinamide, and Methylcobalamin, which are the more bioavailable forms of certain B vitamins that have low uptake and conversion rates.

    Retired teacher. Here's a tip. If your info is important enough to put up on whiteboard, try not to block out the view of it for your audience by consistent standing in front of one side it. Move around so those recording info can catch glimpses of all of the list including left side.

    I can tell that you belong to the modern school of doctors who understood the old teachings - that all disease begins in the gut.
    Incredible video, you have my respect and I learned many new things. Thank you so much!!!!!
