Oh my goodness, people can be so ungrateful. He is a renowned doctor and a researcher who is giving of his time to advise people on how to improve their health and takes the time to explain the hows and whys. I have watched him being interviewed by many well known health experts , some on you tube and I am familiar with his books too. If I don’t have the time, I flag it so I can watch it later. There are a lot less important things in life and in you tube that I am sure a lot of us watch. I for one, am very grateful.

@@lanipham9992 Exactly correct, whether it is the insurance company’s quotas, or their business model, it is had to find a doctor who spends the time. What has really surprised me with the complaints are the number of people complaining. It is discouraging. I hope Dr. Li doesn’t get tired of reading the comments.

Nitrition is not taught in medical schools. They are taught how all the organs in the body functions and what drug they should recommend if there's a problem.
It's a shame that most doctors don't know much about healthy eating. Everyone has to be in touch with their bodies and care of it accordingly.

You can also cook with tea. I toast quinoa, then cook it with brewed lapsang souchang (a smoked, black tea from China). You can also make rice, miso ramen, oats, basically anything you cook with water by substituting all or part of the water with tea. It’s fun to play with the various possibilities. Soak steel cut oats in earl grey overnight and serve with cherries, cacao chips, and pistachios. Add any other favorite smoothie add-ons (chia and hemps seeds, saffron, berries). Have fun with it!

Sometimes I add fresh grated ginger and/or chopped cilantro before blending. You can mess around with the quantities to your taste. This also makes a good stir-fry sauce.

Sooo they pump them full of antibiotics...and growth hormones to speed up the birth to table time. We're eating that??!! Same with chickens. Only safe meats are organic and grass fed.... Nuff said. @@sweetfreedom999 If you don't have a way of accurately measuring the temperature of the water, you could try a 50-50 mix of boiling water and hot water straight from the tap. That should get you into a good safe zone for green teas. After that, try experimenting with brewing time and the amount of tea leaf you're using, Trust yourself . . . you'll be able to find through experimentation what works best for your preferences. Enjoy the process!

While I was curious enough to watch because of the title, I'm not convinced about your liquid recommendations. To begin with, I've been a tea drinker for more than 60 years (4-10 cups/day), and I consume (during summer months) vast amounts of watermelon. None of these have helped with my NAFLD (Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease) or the fact that I have vast amounts of internal scarring of my internal organs -- according to the doctor who removed my gall bladder. On the other hand, your mention of symptoms did provide a source of questioning I want to bring up with my doctor at my next appt: itchy skin and pain/tenderness in the area around my waist. While my blood tests didn't find anything wrong with my liver, I know now I want to revisit this topic with my primary. Thank you.

Me and my ex were talking about plastic. He thought plastic breaks down. I said it only breaks up, because it is an inorganic material. Then they found the plastic in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. That was then. Now it is probably the size of the whole Midwest and then some. I believe there’s plastic in fat cells. I drank bottled water for eight years when I was homeless.

I know that plastics, really all petroleum products destroy progesterone, which destroys the balance you need between Estrogen and Progesterone. I read this in a book about menopause and why there are so many women with high Estrogen levels. I think the book was called something like “things your doctor hasn’t told you about menopause”. Loaned it and never got it back. It speaks about the use of creams made from Mexican yams which is a natural way to get Progesterone rather than getting progestin pills. I used the cream and it helped balance my body

The video discusses the importance of the liver in detoxifying the body and the role of body fat accumulation in the liver. It explains how excess body fat can overwhelm the liver, leading to fatty liver disease. The video outlines five beverages that can help in burning body fat and reducing the impact on the liver:
    1. Green Tea: Contains EGCG that activates Brown fat thermogenesis, helping to burn harmful body fat.
    2. Coffee: Chlorogenic acid in coffee activates Brown fat thermogenesis, aiding in burning excess body fat.
    3. Tomato Juice: Lycopene in tomatoes and tomato juice can activate Brown fat thermogenesis, assisting in fat burning.
    4. Watermelon Juice: Watermelon, like tomatoes, contains lycopene and can help reduce body fat, specifically in homemade juice form.
    5. Other teas like matcha, oolong, and pu tea are also mentioned for their fat-burning properties.
The video emphasizes the importance of maintaining a healthy liver by reducing body fat through these beverages. Studies showing the effectiveness of these beverages in burning body fat and improving metabolic health are also discussed. Additionally, practical tips for consuming these beverages are provided, such as avoiding adding sugar to tea and using pure tomato juice.
