“A former writer for People magazine wrote in a first-person account posted Wednesday night that Donald J. Trump cornered her alone in 2005, “pushing me against the wall and forcing his tongue down my throat,” while she was at his Florida residence to interview him and his wife.
People posted the story by the writer, Natasha Stoynoff, several hours after the publication of a New York Times article in which two women described sexually aggressive behavior years ago by Mr. Trump, now the Republican nominee for president. Mr. Trump and his campaign have vigorously denied the women’s accounts.
Ms. Stoynoff wrote that the December 2005 interview focused on the first wedding anniversary of Mr. Trump and his wife, Melania, who was pregnant at the time. That was the same year that Mr. Trump and the entertainment personality Billy Bush were recorded making vulgar and demeaning comments about women.
Ms. Stoynoff said she knew the Trumps before the meeting - she had attended their wedding, reported on Mr. Trump at Trump Tower in New York City and covered his NBC reality series, “The Apprentice.”

I posted something on another news site about how it took me a long time to talk about being inappropriately touched bc of the unfortunate 'self guilt' that one can feel afterwards. I got down arrowed like crazy. I don't understand why our culture is so victim blaming. The whole "well, why did they take so long to bring this up?" is a very sad aspect of thinking these days. You really do feel alone after it happens and sometimes do think, "why did I get myself in that scenario in the first place?" But, it's only the predator's fault for it and I really hope eventually, people will not try to make excuses for that awful person doing it. Also, it's likely that many of them thought they were alone, but when one victim of abuse comes forward more find the courage to come forward as well. The fact that Trump constantly talks about himself in the third person is enough to prove he's untrustworthy. That habit says more about a person than any actual words.
To explain the timing, and why these women came out around the same time after the tapes, is because nobody would've believed their word against his. They'd loose their job, maybe they'd get a counter sue and so on. They revealed it after the tapes were released because they can point to that as evidence. In their minds, "Finally people will believe what happened, they're seeing the real him, I can stop him now". Many women and men don't come out because what's worse than being traumatically sexually assaulted is for people to not to believe you. Example, if you can't rap your peanut brain about it. lets say you were stabbed and in a lot of pain. you are trying to find help but when you go to someone you "trust" they say, "yeah right. You're completely alright", while you are in pain and hurt. You feel more alone and as if no one cares. Especially when that person who stabs you gets treated better than you.
Just because someone accuses a man of sexual assault doesn't mean it's true. It just might be that these accusations are politically motivated and the women are being paid to lie.

My problem with all these women who accused Trump of sexually assaulting them, is that instead of just reporting when it happened, they waited until years later, just 4 weeks before America decides whether or not he will be our next president. Such as hearing their attacker admit that he does it to other women, or until another victim comes forward. Or until the stakes are so high that they can no longer maintain their silence. This is a common occurance & it's not about money, it's about not being able to stay silent & live with yourself. I have worked with victims of sexual assault & there are many factors that come into play in a situation like this. Also you must remember this isn't something fun for these women, they will be called liars, whores, golddiggers by Trump, his supporters & some of the media. Why on earth would they put themselves through that unless they believed it really mattered & that people should know what he has done. I don't get the defence of this man, Thom Hartmann just had a Women for Trump spokesperson on his radio show yesterday, and I read some of the same defence here.
This woman spokesperson couldn't quite see the difference between sexual assault and consensual sex, equating what Bill did in his office with these, as of yet, alleged incidents of T-rumps. No scratch that, video and audio evidence is not alleged, it just haven't been used in court, yet. Besides, it doesn't matter what Bill did, it is not he who is running again - it is his wife.
I'm not much of a Hillary supporter, as I don't think there is that much to her campaign to support, but its better than the vacuous nothing of the T-Rump campaign.

Like the Bill Cosby incident I found this odd, until I did some deeper thought and realized that social media, the internet, and networking is relatively new. It is not impossible that these women kept this stuff bottled up because they had no means to have their voice heard. What is strange is the timing. Donald Trump has been running for a long time so it's odd that the allegations are being brought up now. You could argue that the recent tapes are the reason, but it would make more sense for these allegations to be made and then someone goes digging for evidence and finds the tapes. This seems orchestrated. Even if the allegations are true. It seems like it is orchestrated to have a severe impact just right before the upcoming voting day.

Let us not forget that had she gone to the police, the likely hood is that nothing would have been done. Nothing at all. We can't even get rapists who are caught in the act to serve any kind of real jail time and all women see this. That'st why most women never bother to report rape, they KNOW nothing will be done to stop the rapist and the police and prosecutors will treat them like they asked for it or deserve it. We need to change the way we raise our kids if we ever want to have any hope of ending rape culture.

This all reminds me of the episodes of an old dating show called "Blind Date" from the early-2000s. They had a few episodes where women got to date millionaires (I know, I know, Donald Cosby is a billionaire... in his fantasies) and some of the millionaire dudes were okay dates, some were suave, and then there were ones like Trump: _No game, let me buy you something, please have sex with me._
Basically they're like Steve Carell's character from "The 40-year-old Virgin" but with money. Even his locker room talk reeked of inexperience and failure with women.

I have myself been sexually assaulted as a woman, it could've been worse but it was still unwanted and a violation. It is a COMMON response for the victim to freeze from shock. And because the perpetrator is OBVIOUSLY dangerous and doesn't care about boundaries so if they will do that- you realize you do not know what else they're capable of. It is a survival instinct. It can be fight, it can be flight- it can also be freeze. And of course with such a violation and hurt- at some point- murderous rage is another step in the grieving process - the anger comes from HURT- from being disrespected. You grieve over the sad state of humanity, and child-like innocence, and for the trust you once naively had in people.
On another note: EVERY woman should take a self defense class or two at LEAST. It's a GREAT workout and confidence booster- and sadly so necessary in this world. Krav Maga is the single most efficient, practical form of self defense especially for petite people or ladies- you do not have to be bigger than someone to defend yourself against them. It focuses on #1 Prevention but #2 getting away or being prepared for worst case what you try at all costs to avoid- which is only being able to get out of a fight by Ending it. So #3 ending the fight as quickly as possible is another objective. It's a mixed martial art. It's what JLo was trained in and she and her body doubles presumably ;P used in the kick ass heroine flick Enough 😂 👊 check it out ladies! 😜😈👊👊 currently classes are still male-dominated, but it OUGHT to be the OTHER way around. I'd love to see it change.
