@@jayprimo what part? I did look and all the elections seem to match his keys. The only debatable one is Al Gore, but on countback it seems he actually was right, but the end result wasn’t what the eventual counting showed, so that’s his only debatable call.

No one was SUPER disrespectful. Both had time to talk and make their case, there was no name calling.A bit confrontational but thats part of debates often when passions flare.

I’ll mention something else.
As he was accusing Dr. Lichtman of “wiggling out” from a prediction, he didn’t listen. He said that dropping Biden would be a mistake because, based on the keys, less keys would need to go against the party of the white house to give Trump his chance of winning. But Cenk was too busy being a dick and trying to prove how right he was and how wrong Dr. Lichtman is to hear any of it.

Cenk’s hypothetical of ‘the president every day goes to a press conference and punches himself in the face, do the keys still apply’ was clearly meant not to be literal but as a comparison to Biden talking to the press every day and making a bigger fool of himself. Like, say, introducing Zelensky as President Putin and then mixing up Trump and Harris by going ‘Vice President Trump’ in response to a question about if Harris could take over the presidency. Just… wow. Maybe the 13 keys is a decent way to frame why candidates win, but it takes objective analysis to properly apply them, and if you want objectivity? Right now, this Professor ain’t it.
