All live Pulse: money and Another brick in the wall have extended drops. Great Gig in the Sky, SORROW, KEEP TALKING has a very big surprise. Their opener Shine on You Crazy Diamond, High Hopes. Oh man what a journey.
After you get through a few more Pulse songs, I recommend On the Turning Away from Delicate Sound of Thunder, Echoes both in Pompeii (1971?) and also at Gdansk (2006?), and just about anything from Gilmour in Pompeii in 2016. You really can’t go wrong.
Yeahhhhhhhhhhh, he as a guitarist and a songwriter, for me, is the greatest influence of modern times. Next, I"d love you to listen to Keep talking , from the pulse concert... so different but, so good.
Pulse concert is and has been for many years, my go to every New Year Eve, as loud as my ears can stand. Every song is phenomenal. For something a bit different can I suggest the closing song ‘Run Like Hell’ - just subscribed👍🏻
When Pink Floyd performed these classics live the entire stadium was wired for sound with speakers 360° around the stadium. So when those chimes ring out in the beginning, you hear it in full quad separation with the different sounding chimes coming at you from every corner of the stadium.... Behind you (no matter where you're sitting) in front of you, from either side, and even from above! Imagine one massive 200,000 watt set of headphones with you sitting smack dab in the middle, and that's basically what we were hearing at this show. They do not skimp on the production. So as great as some of these tunes sound here, it simply pales in comparison to the in-person experience. I think you're ready for the next step up... "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" 1-5, next. And see why Mr Gilmour is truly the G.O.A.T. when it comes to the guitar. Studio version first! 👍
Love when new Floyd fans are jumping in hard. I'd recommend Sorrow next, and then Shine On You Crazy Diamond 1-5, then 6-9 as close to doing 1-5 as you can so you don't lose the feel. One video for the two would be fantastic, but that might be too long for you at almost 30 minutes.
Same concert...Sorrow, High Hopes, Wish You Were Here, Run Like Hell, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Coming Back To Life, Keep Talking...just do the entire concert.
Shine on You Crazy Diamond Parts I-V from the album Wish You Were Here 1975. There's a second part also (Parts VI-IX). The two songs bookend the Wish You Were Here album. Both are brilliant. A must-listen for a burgeoning Pink Floyd fan.
I have to agree - when you say Pink Floyd, Shine On You Crazy Diamond or Echoes always come to mind first. Both of these songs are absolute masterpieces. However, I recommend the studio version of Shine (it's a bit longer than the concert version) and Echoes is understandable to see as a live version in Pompeii...
If you like Daviid and Richard haromnizing, try ECHOES, from the album MEDDLE. there are two live versions i,d recommend, first is live at Pompeii comes in two parts and the second is DAVID GILMOUR , REMEMBER THAT NIGHT. Richard Wright plays with him at that concert. They are both EPIC. YOU WON,T REGRET EITHER OF THEM.

If you are going to react to this again with the missus, might I suggest that you do the "Pulse version" of "Time" and then allow it to run into "The Great Gig in the Sky". Two songs that really are meant to be experienced together...
React to Sorrow from the Pulse concert. It's amazing. If want visuals and to see how a heap of explosives add to a song react to Run Like Hell from Pulse.
Yes "Sorrow" at Pulse is brilliant or for a different flavour try "The Great Gig In The Sky"at Pulse too. .....or Money....or Shine On You Crazy Diamond ....or basically anything by PF.
The album version didn't do anything for me. But THE LIVE PULSE VERSION!! ("You were hanging yourself on someone else's words, Dying to believe in what you heard") That opening solo is ETHEREAL! He just takes your hand, and musically leads you out into the universe. Gilmour truly is the G.O.A.T. (It's rumored that once, waaay back in the day, Eric Clapton was asked by a reporter what it felt like to be the greatest guitarist in the world. He responded, 'I don't know. You might want to ask David Gilmour that.')
I don't know that I'd call him THE best guitar player, but he's definitely up there as one of the best. There are just too many of them to really say one is better than the others. I mean we're talking about guys like Richie Blackmore (Deep Purple / Rainbow), Jimmy Page (Led Zep) or Jimi Hendrix. They're all extremely talented, and so is Gilmour--obviously.
You have the video inverted or reversed or something. (If that's the word) David Gilmore is right handed and in this video he is playing left handed. I couldn't work out what was wrong initially until it struck me.
Si vous avez pris des baffes jusqu'à maintenant, qu'est ce que ça va être avec sorrow, high hopes, marooned, wish you were here, another brick in the wall, echoes etc etc etc etc
Musically as a whole, as well as the guitar solo specifically, I think the performance from the previous tour titled The Delicate Sound Of Thunder is a better performance. I would stand by that for every track, actually. The stage production for Pulse was better, though. I saw both tours live in person in actually the same venue 6 years apart. The backup singers were better, too. One of them, Durga Mc Broom, was on both tours.
What song should we do next!?
All live Pulse: money and Another brick in the wall have extended drops. Great Gig in the Sky, SORROW, KEEP TALKING has a very big surprise. Their opener Shine on You Crazy Diamond, High Hopes. Oh man what a journey.
@@steveboyes2090 "Shine On You Crazy Diamond, 1-5" next please. Studio version.
From the same concert, 'Money' and 'Take It Back', thanks from New Zealand.
One of these days. Sorrow Another brick in the wall 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Sorrow from pulse concert is awesome!
Pulse "Run like hell" will blow your mind.
Yeahhhhhhhhhhh, he as a guitarist and a songwriter, for me, is the greatest influence of modern times. Next, I"d love you to listen to Keep talking , from the pulse concert... so different but, so good.

Us and Them will give you chills as well 😮

Man I fucking I HATE Pink Floyd! Lullabies for stoned people.

Echoes live 😅n Gdańsk is a special masterpiece before Richard Wright passed.
Man I fucking I HATE Pink Floyd! Lullabies for stoned people.
Same concert...Sorrow, High Hopes, Wish You Were Here, Run Like Hell, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Coming Back To Life, Keep Talking...just do the entire concert.
What he said. It was a MIND-BLOWING show.
For a different feeling - The Great Gig In The Sky - a song sung without words. Both the Pulse and DSOM Album versions
If you needd another pulse song, theres about 30 left to choose from. Try "One Of These Days" or "Coming Back To Life"
Please check out ON THE TURNING AWAY live in Uniondale NY from 1988. This is a few years before Pulse.
Gotta be SORROW next. SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND, LEARNING TO FLY, COMFORTABLY NUMB.
Make sure Liz is with you. Loved the reaction.
Please check out LOST FOR WORDS from the Pulse rehearsal. You’ll see how dedicated they are to putting on a quality performance.
Awesome reaction bro...would love to see you both do "Sorrow" from Pulse...the intro and outro are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👌👍🤘🤙as is the whole song!!!😊
David Gilmour is the greatest ever when it comes to making the guitar sing
Gotta listen to Dogs off the 1977 album Animals..
Shine on You Crazy Diamond Parts I-V from the album Wish You Were Here 1975. There's a second part also (Parts VI-IX). The two songs bookend the Wish You Were Here album. Both are brilliant. A must-listen for a burgeoning Pink Floyd fan.

Us & them / any colour you like / brain damage / eclipse from the pulse concert - All in one go, as they are all connected to each others
David Gilmour is a gift to the Universe, in every way.
Man I fucking I HATE Pink Floyd! Lullabies for stoned people.
Pink Floyd songs are all great 👍 😊. Enjoy the journey.
David Gilmour is the GOAT. Anything from Pulse is great. How about Sorrow next?
All from their 1994 Pulse concert....

Another great reaction. Andy just a piece of advice, ditch the ear sticky things and go proper headphones, it’s another level.
Nice reaction (:

great reaction, id recommend " COMING BACK TO LIFE " from same pulse concert

I forgot HIGH HOPES.....EPIC.
"KEEP TALKING"
Messes with me the screen is reversed and makes David playing left handed lol. All good. B

Now do the ultimate Gilmour and Wright song Echoes.
Si vous avez pris des baffes jusqu'à maintenant, qu'est ce que ça va être avec sorrow, high hopes, marooned, wish you were here, another brick in the wall, echoes etc etc etc etc
You got chills watching a 30 year old video? Man you should have been there. It was the best

Gilmour non è mancino e non riesco a guardare questo video perché è visibile in senso opposto all'originale😮😮😮
YOUR VID IS BACKWARDS, DAVE GILMORE IS A RIGHT HANDED GUITARIST. OTHER VIDS HAVE MUCH BETTER SOUND ASWELL.
