"I like that guy." The guy you pointed out is Richard Wright, one of the original band members; very talented, played incredible keyboards/synths and vocals. Passed in 2008; we miss him.

The lyric “It’s good to warm bones beside the fire” is an ode to Jimi Hendrix.

    All that you touch
    All that you see
    All that you taste
    All you feel.
    All that you love
    All that you hate
    All you distrust
    All you save.
    All that you give
    All that you deal
    All that you buy,
    beg, borrow or steal.
    All you create
    All you destroy
    All that you do
    All that you say.
    All that you eat
    And everyone you meet
    All that you slight
    And everyone you fight.
    All that is now
    All that is gone
    All that's to come
    and everything under
    the sun is in tune
    but the sun
is eclipsed by the moon. - lyrics by Roger Waters
    "There is no dark side
    of the moon really.
    Matter of fact
    it's all dark."

As a teen in the 70's it was the Yin and Yang of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin that seem to bring a balance to our little universe.
No Social Media, No Broad Band, No Mobile Phones and No Auto Tune.
And on top of all that, we only had music like this....
Oh, wait, that was supposed to make you younger guys feel sorry for us old guys! 😂😂😂

This live version is great, but you should listen to the studio version. It's more polished and impactful. If you really listen to the words, it can bring
you to tears. It's a very moving song.

Easily Dark Side is the best in my opinion. It was on the charts for like 7 years. And it is still incredibly relevant and as popular as ever.

"...wouldn'twant to wake up to that..."
    LMAO...
my roommate & I had the alarm part on a tape which we played LOUD on Sunday morning to clear the floor & hallways of all the "bodies" that didn't make it out the door the night before.

The song is from the album The Dark Side of the Moon from that nearly unknown british combo. It is one of the best selling albums of all time (over 50 Mio) and stayed for over 900 weeks in the US Billboard 100.

Yo bro, my 2 guitar hero's were David Gilmour from Pink Floyd and Stevie Ray Vaughan, so you have nailed it with your video reactions for inspiration! 2 different styles - David is about tone and feel and melodic solos, Stevie - well shoot man, he is the Billy the Kid of guitar he is just the baddest dude to ever do it. But both of their playing is the blues - SRV is straight up, but David is rooted in it. Get down that E and A chord and boom - you can play the blues. And it all grows from there. IF you like Pink Floyd, aside from them and Stevie, my all time favorite band is Radiohead, if you want to hear them, check out "Creep" first, their biggest hit but they are in a genre all to themselves - "Paranoid Android" after that, and you'll find out if you dig their sound. Love the Pink Floyd reacts! Peace/

mate binging you videos, love you honest reaction from a young guy, Down in the Tube Station at midnight, by the Jam is one you must watch, but watch past the drum solo its far more poignant the end verse

  • @Nick60606

This is one performance from Pulse thats not as good as the recording
Don't care for his solo on this one.
The tone sounds a little muddy and too ambient, not as crisp as the original which is one of my favorites.
Its probably the only thing I don't like in the whole concert.
