For the RPM hubs, if the bearing fits slightly loose (radial movement, not lateral) in the carrier over time like he mentioned, you can try taking some Teflon pipe sealing tape and wrapping it around the outer race 2-3 times (may need to experiment) then push bearing into hub. Trim excess with exacto knife being careful not to yank tape out from the outer bearing surface. Make sure all surfaces are clean and free of grease or oil. Then reassemble as normal.
Typical Traxxas.. they tell no-one hahaha. Must do upgrade!! No more blown little bearings front or rear. RPM made new front hubs for the X-Maxx with oversized bearings but most people that run them report that they are terrible. Far too flexible.
Its great bro👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 more upgrade are so expensive 👍🏼👍🏼

@@steveblackbird yeah correct! I got the RPM hubs but I don’t like their front hub it’s too soft the pins easily come off.
No need for rpm now?
No need for RPM anymore.
What's the part number for the front bearings?
New larger type?
5196A inner larger bearing (20x32x7 mm)
5106A outer bearing (15x24x5 mm)
Same sizes front and rear... hope that helps
@@steveblackbird thank you! Both of my bearings in the front went bad. Huge help.
