Then a couple of days before I called and told them I wanted to try something first. So I had a thought that it might be candida since I had leaky gut in the past. My dentist said later that he had never seen a mouth turn around so fast. He told me “ whatever you’re doing keep doing it and you’ll have your teeth the rest of your life”. Now I only go for cleanings once a year and it takes 5 minutes. I don’t make tarter anymore. Thanks dr. Berg for your videos.
@@sweetbeepI think putting 4-5 drops of good quality oil of oregano into a glass of water and swishing in your mouth then swallowing, would work well. Esp right before bed after brushing. Also stop the sodas & grains. Excessive usage of both of those has very severe tooth decay, furthermore modern Corn Syrup sodas, post 2010 and early 2000s aka Now. Most of the old sodas we are used to have changed into something much worse than the sugar version of them. Corn Syrup is really bad stuff in it's current version for humans.

My grandma lived to be 82 and always used baking soda to brush her teeth. She had all her teeth except for one that had to be pulled when it cracked on a pork chop bone. Other than that she never even went to the dentist either. She had beautiful teeth.
This guy is pure gold! What a gift and what a massive difference from most doctors here in the US that just throw pharmaceuticals at any and everything and they end up not helping but actually causing more issues.
Without his video that I watched by accident the first time, I would not have overcome my Long Covid (which had kept me bed-ridden for 2.5 years--and the physicians, neurosurgeon I consulted were useless). (The medical establishment put out a tremendous amount of misinformation about how to overcome Covid-19--and that hurt thousands of people in the world, including me.) That was the start, and the subsequent videos of his I watched have helped me a lot become increasingly functional, stronger.

Baking soda tastes bad 👎 but sometimes I do. Hydroxzine peroxide is whiting, but too much the teeth get see-through. My experience. Be careful. The dentist is the most important person for your teeth. Ask the dentist for care.
I swear we are living in a darn simulation! Earlier today I was thinking (to myself, not out loud): I wonder if there’s a way to clean your own teeth and remove tartar like the dentist does without going to the dentist - I’ll look it up online later. Then I forgot about it. And now here I am scrolling and see my favourite doctor heard my request! Thanks - I’ll watch the video now! 😊
This formula he spoke about in this video will help remove the biofilm aka dental plaque therefore help reduce the tartar over time. You can’t remove tartar with a toothbrush as it is the hard barnacles on the teeth and must be removed with instruments at a dental office (I’m a dental hygienist) 😊

I shall always be grateful to the dentist that taught me about the efficacy and importance of daily low pressure sub gingival irrigation with multiple alternate effective anti microbial agents. I weekly alternate between hydrogen peroxide ( and I want to emphasize not industrial strength but the kind one buys at the grocery store. In fact, the larger bottle I buy says "oral debriding agent") in water, salt in water, baking soda in water. I use a curved tip syringe to deliver it all along the gum line. My gums are too tight to use an endodontic needle or cannula. But if your gingiva is detached you might want to use them. But if you do be very very gentle. You don't want to damage any tissue. Also irrigation flushes out larger food particles missed by flossing and brushing. It would probably work well with a water pik but I like the mobility of the syringe. Easy to transport and use on road trips. Also to brush my teeth I use a teaspoon of baking soda mixed with a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide.
I noticed a marked improvement when I was consuming large salads and a high quantity of vegetables. Limited to almost zero flour based products, no processed sugar and small quantities of meat. I think limiting my carbohydrates intake to 50 grams every two days has tremendously improved my teeth health. Thank you Dr Berg for the knowledge that changed my diet

It's much less abrasive to begin with than other commercial products. Given the fact that it is dissolved in the solution, my thought is that it is used as a buffer, more than as an abrasive. Buffers help change pH. Used in the mouth, it would increase it from an acidic environment to one of a more pH neutral or slightly basic, reducing the bacteria's ability to form the biofilm associated with plague.

The main concern with baking soda is the carbon it contains. Carbon has a very high negative charge and it quickly bonds ionically with free calcium and phosphorus in our saliva that is supposed to bond with and remineralize enamel. Excessive use of baking soda on the teeth over time will inhibit proper remineralization of enamel and slowly pull calcium and phosphorus right out of enamel making it more porous raising ones chances of cavities.
The bottom line; brushing with baking soda will damage the teeth of many people. Its smart to use a baking soda free toothpaste product like Eucellus... @@bonifaciobonifacia8679

I found a dentist called Dr Ellie Phillips here on YT and she recommends using Xylitol after all meals. She says it's maintaining the saliva which is necessary to remineralize the teeth, it contains calcium and whatever u need. There are a few things she suggests and I won't put them all here (go look her up) but among them are keeping your mouth closed most of the time so it doesn't dry out, not breathing through your mouth for the same reason, not drinking or eating all throughout the day so that the mouth doesn't become acidic and you don't wash all the saliva away, and taking a xylitol mint or gum after every meal. The Xyltiol kills bad bacteria, feeds the good bacteria, stimulates saliva flow, helps to dislodge plaque and prevent it from sticking and keeps the PH of the mouth at a good level. I've been using Xylitol gum for several months and I'm very happy with my progress.

Wait a min... Turmeric stains teeth, right?... My dentist asked if I ate a lot of turmeric because my teeth in the back were stained in a way that suggested that. I was consuming liquified turmeric occasionally back then. So I answered yes and was surprised that she knew. She then informed me that turmeric does stain teeth so take caution. She said otherwise my teeth looked pretty good using coconut oil, baking soda and oil extracts as tooth paste, but that I do have quite a bit of small cavities between teeth to monitor so consider utilizing small amounts of flouride to combat the issues. I'm flossing twice a day and mostly using regular toothpaste, but that won't be a permanent habit. I haven't gotten x rays in over a year so we'll see if incorporating a fluoride wash once a month helped. You spoke about carbs being the issue too. Is honey low carb? Does it throw people out of ketosis?

Can't fault the man's logic on the toothpaste combination. It all makes sense when you see the reasoning. Plus its less concentrated that what many commercial toothpastes use, and if you use distilled water, you will not have the fluoride that probably is not the best for our bodies to begin with.

Baking soda tastes bad 👎 but sometimes I do. Hydroxzine peroxide is whiting, but too much the teeth get see-through. My experience. Be careful. The dentist is the most important person for your teeth. Ask the dentist for care.

Just a side note advisory about the turmeric. If you have any temporary resin caps, they can stain very yellow. Saw this once on a patient who had eaten it, came in and we had to remake her temps that were anterior.

I ate more eggs, and small fish. But I think the increase in dark leafy veggies was responsible for my whiter and healthier teeth.

It's much less abrasive to begin with than other commercial products. Given the fact that it is dissolved in the solution, my thought is that it is used as a buffer, more than as an abrasive. Buffers help change pH. @@Lucia-io3dn
My findings were that even as far back as mid 70s microbial ecology was possible in natural biofilms. Difficult but possible. The other finding was that inside power stations with brass condensers, catastrophic metal failure was due to a process called "stress corrosion cracking" that occurred inside the metal crystals was mediated by short chain fatty acids produced by the biofilms when the condenser was left full of water but not pumping. Thr fatty acids leached hydrogen out the metal at crystalline boundaries. I also found I was good at doing multi field research, getting up to expert level very quickly in different fields, and in using statistics for applied biology.

I’ll try this 🍀 I’ve been having to go for cleanings every three months because of chronic build up no matter how much I brush. Here’s hoping this helps.
Give it a try! Have you also seen the data on oil pulling. Check this out! 👉 www.drberg.com/blog/coconut-oil-benefits?srsltid=AfmBOorQuQ-XzFL_UTffB0Uw7u4o8NwZ1Oe2Wc--Of2aShn9sS1_iqfE
Rinsing your mouth for 15 minutes a day with coconut oil or animal fat will make chunks of tartar come off in a matter of days.
I'd be asking why there are chunks of tartar on my teeth that take days to come off.
That’s interesting.
I can attest to this. I did this for a week out of curiosity and tartar that I just accepted for years started chipping off during flossing.
Great info ! wow !
Do u mix it with water
This is very much liquidy if you mix it with water. How can it stick to the toothbrush? Any improvisation to the recipe? What if I make it a paste-like consistency?
cleaning teath with inner side of banana skin or lemon skin also helps. lemon skin has the advantage of giving fresh smell for a long time
The main concern with baking soda is the carbon it contains.
❤
Can you simplify
The bottom line; brushing with baking soda will damage the teeth of many people. Its smart to use a baking soda free toothpaste product like Eucellus... @@bonifaciobonifacia8679
@@bonifaciobonifacia8679 I'm not sure how to simplify. If you have questions I would be happy to answer those...

Going to try this local remedy. This is so natural. Thanks
Way to go!
My tarter got worse on keto. Don’t know if it’s from increased coffee or what but it certainly didn’t come from carbs.
Thats why everyone is different, and keto doesnt work for everyone...Are you an A blood type, by any chance?

Also, check if your proteins may be too high compared with fats intake.
@@lynnmoses3563I’m type A but I’m much keto & high red meats. 200g of red meats a day is very high compared with the rest of my life so far.
Since the time of first brushing my teeth I always remember brushing my teeth with only baking soda and peroxide. I am 47 now.
Along with that I always see people with yellow or greenish colored teeth if they only knew to use baking soda one brushing it will lighten the teeth almost instantly.
What’s the % of peroxide you’re using?
@@saumpaulinxxx I do not dilute, it is 100%.
I only use enough to do a quick mouth swish. And on the toothbrush I wet the brush with peroxide and sprinkle on the soda.
I know that it is said not to do soda on the teeth and to not use peroxide. I don't see any problems.
@@uriahthehittite2148on the bottle it's stating the %. It's either 3% or 7%

Sir, can you please make a video on how to mix all of the ingredients and how to apply them.

Xylitol has a lot of backing in research studies.

Xylitol is also a great thing to use to change the alkalinity in your mouth to stop plaque and tartar build up naturally

Love the way you’ve explained the process and treatment Dr Berg ❤
How long does this recipe lasts for? And do you recommend keeping it in a container?
Yess i want to know too !! Can someone tag me as well here with a reply
It won’t go bad. You may want to experiment with a separate batch just to answer your question.
Once a week try brushing teeth with garlic salt and then rinse with water. You can also add garlic salt to your toothpaste. Garlic salt and clove oil stopped the need for a root canal. Check with your dentist though.
Thanks for sharing your experience with this! Consuming one to two garlic cloves daily is associated with improved immune function while minimizing the risk of gastrointestinal side effects. Take a look! 👉 www.drberg.com/blog/amazing-benefits-of-garlic-through-the-winter
Mr. Eric it would be nice if you would have shown how the mixture is made at the end of the video.
Wet my tooth brush ,pour hydrogen peroxide over it add baking soda then organic coconut oil ,using 2 yrs & going strong with my original teeth / A Baby Boomer 🎉😮❤

I like neem or fennel paste to brush and rinse. I also like, on arising, baking powder in water to swish because i am not a morning person, so i need my 1st cup of french roast to even open my eyes😊.
thank you so much. i will try this. i so want to avoid flouride, so alternatives that don't upset my stomach (most do) are welcomed.
Thank you 😊 Dr. Berg: just today, I went to your site and ordered Vitamin D/K2, and your site videos explaining the formulas within the vitamin supplements are extremely helpful in understanding the product, thank you!
One note about turmeric, I found, was possible leaving an orange stain on whatever it comes in contact with, but what I do not know is, how easily the orange stain is cleaned up??
Thanks again for your caring heart ❤, knowledge, and expertise in helping those around you. God bless your heart ❤
This sounds like a great recipe but it seems to be only for one days worth. Can we make it weekly by just multiplying by 7 on all the quantities? And will it still be good for the week? It won't go bad?
Hydrogen Peroxide will start to degrade once mixed with other things.
I don’t have the hydrogen peroxide and I don’t think I can find it anywere to buy it. …but I will give it a try with the other ingredients. Hope it works!
I am convinced that a small quantity of good quality raw honey, Ceylon cinnamon on my oatmeal, and a good quality ginger tea in my daily diet are good for my oral health.
Nice video, thanks for giving us the metric units equivalent too! Question: if sugar is bad for our teeth, why is honey ok?
Not just any honey 🍯 see after 4:34.
Very thorough and helpful explanation. Thank you Doctor.
Glad you like the video. Hope you learned something new here.
But tumeric stains literally everything yellow in 0,01 seconds?
Not your teeth, the moment I stopped using turmeric & coconut oil my teeth got yellow again. Currently only using coconut oil & clove rinse. It’s important to stay consistent with these things until you’re fully healed.
Can't fault the man's logic on the toothpaste combination. It all makes sense when you see the reasoning. Plus its less concentrated that what many commercial toothpastes use, and if you use distilled water, you will not have the fluoride that probably is not the best for our bodies to begin with.

Well Im not sure if my question is gonna be seen or answered but
1. Can we use strawberry oil instead of pep or cina (probably yes)
2. Can we add some miswak powder alongside with other ingredients.
Thanks in advance.

Clove oil, or cinnamon,
add turmeric, along with that add hydrogen peroxide, and baking soda, then add water half cup , use it twice a day to remove the tartar. :)
