Dr Berg for the last three to four years my health has severely started deteriorating. More recently I’ve been experiencing significant low neck pain, upper back and shoulder pain.. joint pain, hip pain, internal aches and woke up every morning feeling like a dumpster fire. I saw your video about you getting an infected tooth removed and it cleared your pain and I thought i wonder if my dental care is contributing to this since NOTHING was helping. I didn’t have tooth pain. Got X-rays and sure enough I had an upper molar with a huge cyst in my sinus cavity. I had oral surgery Monday and literally my body feels 90% better! Your videos turn on light bulbs for us. I never would have correlate the two! Thank you

I have less than that, only a crooked tooth that hurts, and my shoulders are in pain, and can't restfully sleep. That's like the thorn in my eye since it's like a nail thats poking out from a wall. It even stops me from talking much because it bothers me.

Has anyone here tried using Xylitol toothpaste? I made some with xylitol powder, coconut oil, baking Soda and cinnamon. My teeth feel great. I used to have sensitive teeth but not anymore. I’ve read a few positive studies on the effects of xylitol and oral health…much better and safer than fluoride!

    • @jawnaraestokes5836
      @jawnaraestokes5836 12 днів тому +7

Try brushing with aloe straight from the plant. It takes the sensitivity away. I did just learn that aloe has latex in it. To remove it, just soak in water for 10 to 15 minutes and see the yellow green goo emerge. Then slice it and use it right on your brush. An amazing clean. I've been making my own toothpaste for years with baking soda and coconut oil and sometimes added activated charcoal powder, some mint oil... felt great. The aloe...cleans like nothing I've ever used. I like oil pulling, to finish the process. I'm not a dr. Just a DIY kinda person who's known about fluoride since I was a kid. My dad worked at the water department and didn't want to do that part of the job. 😢 but he protected us. Our water was great. Totally different when he retired. Try the aloe! It really works!!!

I solved plaque formation by simply removing the sugar from my diet.
I had tartar for 25 years and I could not find any solution to stop its formation. When I removed all suger from my diet, the tartar just disappeared.
Remove sugar means avoid the food which contains artificial sugar. The fruits are fine.

Probiotics never helped my gum disease tbh. I’ve had gum disease as long as I can remember. Using a water flosser before brushing with a non fluoride remineralizing toothpaste, and using a higher quality floss (coco floss) has been a total game changer for me. The water flosser in particular. It’s like pressure washing my teeth and gums before I brush. For the first time I’m no longer having bleeding and my hygienist is thrilled with my progress.

It has to do a lot with mouth ph which varies from person to person; breathing habits, saliva composition, etc. And what bacteria live in your mouth as well im sure. One way in which fermented foods make a difference is that they are acidic; which is a great way to get rid of tartar. It dissolves it really fast; but not only your tartar of course. I started restricting my fermented food intake last year when I got very sensitive teeth due to thinning enamel. I was able to reverse that in a few months luckily; but sure enough my tartar buildup also went up. The dissolution vs precitipation of calcium in your mouth is a balance; and frankly id rather be a bit on the tartar-accumulating side of things. If you buy the right tools (soft metals, no hard steels) you can teach yourself to remove tartar safely, and its nothing too bothersome.

Jons Hopkins have a study on rats teeth which became more brittle after fluoridisation. The study happened about 100 years ago after it was noticed in the 1800s that fluoride attaches to the skeleton which is the body's way of shunting it to a part of the body that will not make the soft tissues toxic. The study attempted to establish whether or not fluoride strengthened bones by that affinity but fluoride is less dense than calcium, therefore it could be a contributory factor toward osteoporosis. In India there is a lot of naurally occurring fluoride in the ground and most often it is women who suffer from skeletal malformation of that.

You have to take extreme precautions when using it because it is highly volatile and loves to embed itself in bones and teeth. It can not be handled like any of the other acids because it will cause so much damage to the body in a tiny drop. It also will eat through glass. So early this year a dentist did X-rays found a gray area under front bottom tooth 🦷 but I thought since it didn’t bother me why fix it. Fast forward first of September I came down with dual ear infection… a week later the tooth started hurting had a root canal. Then came down with UTI/kidney infection with fever, low blood pressure, extremely low sodium folic acid, and severe fatigue and exhaustion, next vertigo, plus both my feet came down with athletes feet 👣, then dentist put me on penicillin 500 mg 4 times a day, then had allergic reaction to penicillin with itching and gained 5-7 lbs so I stopped using it, then yeast infection and now joint pain in shoulders and sacrum and coccyx area. So reading other peoples comments here I do believe this infection had gone throughout my body and I’m still recovering fortunately, I’m finally back at work and I have the strength to walk again, but I don’t think it’s over yet.

Wet your toothbrush, dip your toothbrush in food grade diatomaceous earth and put toothpaste over it. Brush your teeth with it and it removes almost all the of it with one brush. Its good for your teeth and all natural.
My dentists asked if i had my teeth already cleaned that week. Lol i said nope just used diatomaceous earth that day. I dont use it every day but a few times a year and i have nothing to scrape off at the dentist and it keeps my gums super healthy! He said i had the gums of a teenager and im 47 years old. Lol
It also cleans your tongue very well. Dont drink cold water right after though it will be ridiculously cold.

Dr. Berg, I’ve been using a system that uses mouthwash, fluoride and Xylitol. Should I only take the Xylitol?

Edward Bernays helped the Aluminum Company of America (Alcoa) and other special interest groups to convince the American public that water fluoridation was safe and beneficial to human health. This was achieved by using the American Dental Association in a highly successful media campaign.

I have a daughter who has great hygiene practices. Always has. My other children have terrible oral hygiene practices. One of my children refuses to even use toothpaste and only brushes with water. My daughter has horrible teeth. I’m going to assume that she’s killed her oral bacteria. This is interesting. We’ve never used fluoride toothpastes and we don’t have city water. We do have dairy goats and we eat a good diet. So, I’m curious what else she can do to impart good bacteria in her mouth? We homeschool so we all have the same diet. I cook everything from scratch. So, I know her diet doesn’t have anything to do with this.

Trained at ucsf with knowledge from someone else. Nothing you learned there was from your own learning. You do what they showed you and think it is best. It’s the American diet that is to blame.

Can you please make a video dedicated to root canals and whether or not their okay to have? I’m only asking because the day I had my first root canal is the day I started experiencing major health issues and I’m unsure if it’s related or not.

They are absolutely related to further health problems. A lot of new evidence coming out to show the link. Mental problems, pain issues, and many more.

Watch out as dentists do not consider root canals serious. They are. I had some problems with my teeth. Dentist recommended 3 root canals. Left office, researched. Studied when RC needed. Infection. Had none. Pain. Had none. Asked dentist what indicated infection, to show me on X-ray. There was none. What could he say? Visits later, he remarked, “well, since you don’t like root canals . . .” What does that mean? They are taught to push root canals, me thinks.
I would pull tooth, probably consider the old method, bridge. Have to find dentist who still does that. But it worked for decades, didn’t it?
Don’t think much of implants either.

I had two bridges put in, and in order for the bridge to fit, they grind down the teeth that the. bridge sits on, then you have to get root canals on the teeth that are little stubs close to the nerves. I had to get 3, and will need more most likely. Maybe better to pull teeth and get implants, or pull teeth and just eat baby food.

@@carolb6549 What’s wrong with implants? I have had two root canals separate from each other. My pain started the same day if not moment I had my first root canal. Since then I have had the first one extracted and the pain still exists. I thought since it started from that then that is what it must be. As of typing this message, I still have one root canal in my mouth that I’ve been holding off on extracting it because every place I’ve been to says it looks fine on their CT scans. I’ve been diagnosed with ATypical type 2 neuralgia and I’m not sure if it’s from the root canal or not. My endodontist once adjust one of my root canals and told me to wait and not bite on them for 10 days which is impossible. He told me that it was hitting against the nerve or I think the other tooth at the time like a hammer. I asked him if they can cause pain within the body and he said “ absolutely, the body is one long wire”. Fast forward years later and he say that it’s not and that he doesn’t remember me saying that. I only need the truth because every time I go somewhere or get an x-ray done, they note something small, then when I come back for a follow up, all of a sudden it’s gone. This has happened many times and due to that I suspect that they are hiding things from me and displacing blame saying it’s something else and that they’re not involved. Since having my first ever root canal, I have been experiencing chronic inflammation 24/7 and it feels like my organs are being stabbed by a thousand knives radiating throughout my body (all except my right leg for whatever reason) I had blood work done and my ENA screen came back detected. Also something about positive anti body. My doctor told me that my body is basically fighting itself which I had already known. The pain itself never changes, it’s always a 7/10 for me and what makes it worse how the pain is affecting me i.e. respiratory distress, digestive issues, unable to concentrate etc. I tried many medication, foods, remedies etc., none helped because something is causing my pain simultaneously. Only a local anesthetic to my left side of jaw reliefs the nerve which in turn relieved almost all my pain (my root canals where done on the bottom right molars). I thought adjusting the root canal tooth again would help because most often I bite and clench on the right side of my jaw as if I’m trying to get rid of a scratch I can’t itch. At first I thought it was excess material although I’m always told it has plenty of space between the nerve and tooth. Is this feeling a result of referred pain? There were many occasions in which local anesthesia would be injected into my left nerve trunk and that temporary relieves the pain. I’m left confused with all this. I understand nerves are complicated and I can’t rely on where I feel the pain because it’s in multiple areas of my body. I’m only focused on my mouth because that’s when it started and there were times of relief(temporary as it been) in my body as-well. Does anybody know what I should do because based on this I’m unsure whether or not the cause is the root canal or something else because both side are telling me otherwise. I know the teeth and heart are connected and I feel like a constant stabbing sensation in my body (with the exception of my right leg). I hope Dr. Berg can help me with this problem.

I would have the teeth polled since they are just dead teeth after the nerve has been removed.

I used an over the counter fluoride treatment recommended by my dentist. I used it every day for about a week. My teeth turned brown. It looked like I had a year's worth of nicotine damage. I've never smoked in my life. I called the dentist in a panic and she told me to come in right away. It took the hygienist well over an hour of heavy scaling and cleaning to get the staining off. Stay away from fluoride treatments.
