Check out this new video where I breakdown my 3 YEARS of oil pulling with studies, realizations and 23 FAQ's ua-cam.com/video/RfMlXfUfFvo/v-deo.htmlsi=eKvTzS4Qs4PanaQ-
It absolutely works...I've been oil pulling off and on for 15+ years and i have experienced and seen miracles for others. I had periodontitis, was supposed to get deep cleanings 3×/year for the rest of my life. I started oil pulling every day and a few months later at my next cleaning they were stunned to see I had no signs of it at all, eventually they said I didn't need to come back anymore and all the people at my dentist's office began oil pulling too! It never came back after that even after i stopped. A few years later I realized my dental implant was being rejected and had an infection, I started oil pulling again 2x/day and returned to the dentist 2 months later, they x-rayed it and saw that it had healed and the bone had grown back! The dentist was stunned 🤗. I actually discovered oil pulling when I had a horrible headache from a sinus infection, after 15 minutes of oil pulling my nose started running and massive amounts of mucous ran from my nose for a good 15 minutes...as if draining a bathtub. After that the pressure was gone and felt 1000x better. What it does is create a suction deep in the roots of the teeth drawing out bacteria, often the roots of our teeth preforate the sinus cavity so it can help with sinuses, allergies and such.
Thanks for telling us about the sinus infections. I have Wegener’s Granulomatosis and the sinuses are really attacked with it and always inflamed. They are very destroyed same with my right ear. It also attacks the gums and bone. I have bone destruction. I am going to try this for 15 mins tomorrow. Going to do it daily, all month. Sinus headaches all the time.
I started oil pulling 8 or 9 years ago. Every morning. 3-4 months later I went to my yearly exam and cleaning. I said nothing when the hygienist asked me if there were changes to my oral health, bla bla. She was both impressed and puzzled to see such a noticeable improvement in my gum health. Inflammation was way down, as well as the receding. I then told her about the oil pulling and she seemed genuinely impressed but when the dentist came in, she mentioned the oil pulling and the only reaction from the dentist was rolling his eyes. I don’t care because I know for a fact that it has made a big difference. I would recommend to start slowly with only a small amount and only swish for a few minutes, first thing after getting up in the am, before brushing your teeth. If you have plaque build up, you may notice it coming off as well. Some people may have trouble with the taste of coconut oil but I never did. Over time, you’ll know how much you can take and how long you can swish, 10 minutes should be plenty.
I also wanted to add that the oil pulling will really make your mouth feel clean, even without brushing, so what I also usually do is rinse with warm saline water and I don’t brush.
I started oil pulling 9 years ago for my teeth, but I noticed my face was clear and much smoother. So, I also started using coconut oil extra virgin oil, cold pressed and unrefined on my face before washing it with face wash and rinsing with cold water to moisturize my face. I'm 54 and have no wrinkles and a smooth complexion. Plus, I use coconut oil on my feet.
I found a technique called reverse shampooing that is the same principle. Condition the hair first, use shampoo after and my scalp and hair have been consistently happy after a lifetime of issues. I've notice that using oil on my skin (and kids) before cleansers helps preserve the natural moisture so much better! My hair & skin are far better doing it this way. I'll try it with my skin now that I'm a bit older and it's drying out.
@@VrilWarrior I put it on my face before I get in the shower and wash it off at the end of my shower with cold water. But now I also use a a skin product that has face wash, serum and hydrating moisturizer. So, I wash off my coconut oil with my regular face wash and then I use my moisturizing face wash and rinse with cold water. Then when I get out I use my serum and hydrating moisturizer. Got rid of my crows feet, 11 lines between my eyes, forehead has cleared up A GREAT DEAL, and under my eyes. I look at my face at night in amazement.
Your nerve just died. If you don’t feel it doesn’t mean the bacteria is gone. It’s still there feeding off your teeth you just don’t feel it anymore until it reaches your bone and gums and turns into abcess.
I did the oil pulling, one teaspoon for 5 mins and I immediately saw results. My bleeding gum disappeared, some plaque removed from my teeth immediately. I will continue this technique. Thank you so very much!!
I have been on oil pulling for a year and my dental surgeon was shocked to see the positive result on my teeth and oral health, no sign of any bleeding during the whole teeth cleaning process at all. Furthermore, my pollen allergy is cured naturally. What more can I ask for? Thanks for your video and, you have a charming voice. You should read audio book……..
I will share my experience. In August 2018 I developed a huge cancerous tumor on outside of a breast. It stunk to high heaven. I had a mastectomy later that year to remove it.....but my husband noticed I still reeked of that odor.....especially, (interestingly enough) my breath. He said the odor would fill the room. (yikes) I started oil pulling w/coconut oil. One day I did the oil pulling while my husband was outside w/our dog. When he came in, he noticed the room didn't have that odor. Over time, pulling w/coconut oil totally removed the odor. To my way of thinking, that means it pulled leftover toxins out of me. The odor never came back. The blood makes a complete circuit every minute. Blood vessels are very close to the surface under the tongue. I made sure some coconut oil sat there.
For about 6 months now, I’ve brush with a mix of coconut oil, clove, peppermint & neem oils, as well as activated charcoal, once I’m done brushing, I do the pulling. My gums are no longer inflamed, no tartar, no bad breath. And the receding gums at the front seem to be growing back. I’ll never stop doing this.
@@yh52mnwalmart here sells the coconut oil in two brands. They also sell on the shelf a .5oz bottle of peppermint oil. And you can get soda in boxes or in a 10lb bag.
My grandparents have been doing this for ages and boy do they have healthy teeth even at 85+. It’s prescribed in Ayurveda as someone mentioned. Also coconut oil is holy grail for your body. It’s a bottle of magic with tonnes of uses ❤ thanks for sharing this wonderful video ❤
Ohh nice, I never thought about it helping sensitive teeth, that's awesome to hear! Hopefully, down the road you can binge eat a tub of ice cream with no fear 😁
I had an abscessed tooth on the weekend and could not get into a dentist. I oil pull , so, I decided to try it for an abscess. I oil pulled twice that day and by the next day, I had no more pain. I oil pulled again that day and no more abscess. Went to the dentist and he could not tell that tooth was bad. Oil pulling saves your teeth!
I have the same problem right now my friend. Its weekend, I have abscessed tooth and I'm glad I read your comment. I'll give oil pulling a try in the morning. Never tried it before
I wish I'd learnt about the benefits of oil pulling before I lost my molar to an absess. Unbelievable! I'm going to buy some coconut oil tomorrow and start oil pulling.
I’ve used coconut oil for daily brushing years now, rather than actual oil pulling….I was getting similar results…fresher breath,no more cavities, breakdown of plaque especially noticeable in the bottom front inside teeth. It was like soft sand easily removed with floss. Even dental hygienist says, oh that wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, because I didn’t see a dentist through Covid for 21/2 yrs! Absolutely convinced! Go figure…anti-bacterial, anti-fungal etc. CLEAN!
I had a very similar experience with a cleaning after 3 years of no cleaning during the pandemic. The surprise in the dental hygienists voice was everything I needed to hear to know that oil pulling is something I need to do forever for good dental health!
@@bhrnswn2748 yes! I couldn’t do the oil pulling….but the brushing is what I can do and it’s absolutely for a lifetime, that’s how good it is! All the best to you. It works!
@@Dr.SowmyaSadananda and I don’t have insurance for dental so my teeth are worth investing in, all the best with your mother, I’m sure a positive result!
Absolutely definitely 100% works. Despite using all range of oral products, I used to have sensitive teeth, inflamed and bleeding gums, not anymore since I started oil pulling. Not only are my gums healthy and strong, but I went from my head hitting the ceiling if my teeth touched anything too cold and discomfort from too hot, to no issues with eating an ice lolly or eating a straight from a hot oven. Also, other benefits is, I find it also clears impurities from the throat. Now this is unpleasant for others to clear; but for me, this is unavoidable but a good thing. I no longer have morning breath and my snoring has reduced significantly. You will understand why dentists wish this was still a secret!!!
Do you use it in the morning before or after tooth brushing, or evening? When did you noticed visible results ? I have inflamed and bleeding gums for years
@@lostwings1 It must be the first thing you do. As I get up, I will take some oil, shower shave, moisturise and get dressed (if it is a quick throw on). Expel, then brush my teeth. Apparently you don't need to, but I cannot get rid of the habit. It was about a week I noticed less red in the sink, that I can remember bc it was then I knew this was going to work. Sorry I cannot remember when I noticed the improvement with the sensitivity. I've been doing this for about six years... Oh when solution, don't just move it around the mouth. REALLY force it, challenge trying to squeeze it between the teeth and remember all sides and top and bottom teeth, even roof of mouth and tongue. Start a little less shown in the video, it takes a couple of days to get used to it. A good toothpaste to use... Elmex sensitivity!!
Sorry for the delay, I didn't receive notification and only now this video appeared on my feed. I think by now you probably drawing mucus (impurities) from the throat. This is actually toxins extracted from around the body. Another tip i just came across. Rinse your mouth with warm salted water and while doing so, rub your teeth with your finger. This is to ensure no set oil is still clung to the teeth!!
I watched this today and started as soon as the video ended. I did a heaping teaspoon full for 15 minutes. I feel a difference already and am going to continue.
I do it for ten minutes and a teaspoon not a tablespoon. I have seen amazing improvement - I started oil pulling because I had a tooth that was a problem (after going to a dentist) and it completely healed my tooth, just amazing. But I wouldn't do it for 20 mins, no way. Ten minutes is quite enough and I can do it everyday for ten minutes.
I think a tablespoon is too much for my little mouth. Lol. So yes, one or two teaspoons is fine for me too. I have read on the topic and basically we have to figure out how long it takes to turn the oil to a milky white color. On average it is 15, 20 minutes but 10 could work for some too. Coconut is not white when it is melted, it melts in our mouth and Sesame oil and other oils are not white either. And when the oil has been swished around in the mouth long enough it will turn white. So the first time doing oil pulling it is a good idea to time it. And try different times, like 10 minutes one day, 15, 20 another etc. And see what time frame works to get the white colored mixture. That's amazing it has helped your tooth. I hope oil pulling continues to benefit you. I have done oil pulling before a few years back but I didn't keep up with it. I do remember it making my teeth whiter and my mouth just feeling better. So I am back to trying it again using Sesame oil as that is more of a Traditional oil to use but other oils are good too I am sure.
Most people like coconut oil or sesame seed oil in their most natural form, like organic, because they've had the most benefits. But other oils like even olive oil have been used and still benefit the teeth and mouth, so even though you don't swallow the oil while pulling, as long as the oil is approved for ingestion it can be used.
I fixed a badly infected wisdom tooth with oil pulling. Dentist asked me what I did and I told him, he was surprised but said I can't recommend it, you should of come and got antibiotics and had it removed. He's very nice man but they are programmed. I asked does it look like I need any antibiotics now....he said No!! Problem solved then isn't it😄
Try a small spoonful of oil first thing in the morning before brushing or drinking anything. Swish for 20 mins and use organic coconut oil (can get it at Costco less expensive) You’ll notice your teeth get even whiter after 7 days. It was shocking!
Yesterday I visited my Dentist. Three months prior to this appointment I had a "Roasting" about the amount of tartar in my mouth, even though I brush daily. I watched your videos re: Oil Pulling. I have been doing this daily since watching your video. Yesterday I was complemented on the small amount of tartar in my mouth. It was in the deep crevices of back teeth. Thank you for inspiration. I will oil pull now every day, for the rest of my life🙏
I've been oil pulling with organic virgin coconut oil for about 6 weeks. My teeth and gum sensitivity has greatly improved over that time. So, for me oil pulling has worked
@@falakshahzad8397 some people will tell you to pull first thing in the morning. Personally I prefer pulling at night before bed. My routine goes like this: 1) Floss thoroughly 2) Rinse well with water 3) oil pull for about 20 minutes 4) Brush teeth 5) Rinse with Listerine
@@spongebobsquaretits Many grocery stores and health food stores sell unrefined, virgin coconut oil. I wait for it to go on sale, then buy up 3 or 4 jars.
I been oil pulling for a week now, and the result is amazing! I was a smoker for 15 years and since I stopped smoking I noticed that my gums is always bleeding whenever I'll brush my teeth so everyday I have bleeding gums, but after 3 days of oil pulling, to my surprise my gums doesn't bleed that much and after the 5th day the bleeding stop when I brush my teeth, and I noticed that my gums become more pinkish, used be kinda black/reddish coz I guess from the nicotine. I am just happy I tried oil pulling, works wonders!❤ this will be in my routine forever🤩🤩
bleeding gums is a MAJOR symptom of lack of vita c; get vita c tablets 500mg; grind them into a powder use magic bullet or coffee grinder, take half tsp in juice twice a day.
To stop your bleeding when brushing your teeth you should take 3 minutes at least and you need to slow down your brushing and don't brush hard either you've been brushing your teeth wrong this entire time
I have two cavities and I applied coconut oil on the tiny cavity holes at night and the pain has gone away and the black specks are disappearing. I've been doing this for a week now so I definitely think it's helping. I do plan on going to a dentist but this is helping me in the meantime
I am having a very bad toothache for the past 6 months. I have never had toothaches before until I got out of a relationship which made me so depressed. I often ate so much chocolates (caramel) on bed and just sleep without brushing my tooth. Anyone going through a hard time rn, please do take care of your tooth. The pain not worth it. ❤️
Thanks. I had covid and the loss of my dog made me not take care of myself. My teeth have cavities and tooth decay, and I have high anxiety of the dentist and can’t afford anything expensive. So I’ll try oil pulling
Oil pulling works. I had toothache pain from a root canal it was infected and my jaw was very swollen. it took the pain and swelling away completely. and saved the tooth without even any work done on it. The tooth is fine still to this day.
I have been oil pulling every day since September 2020. It works in many ways besides your teeth and gums it can also reduce dark circles under the eyes and make the skin brighter.
Do it for about 2 weeks every 3-6 months depending on needs (ie when I feel I have plaque). I wake up, start swishing it while I prepare breakfast and while I shower. Plaque falls out, and if I have any gum inflamation, it goes away. Plus my mouth just feels generally much cleaner. And yes like others I've had puzzled comments and praise about hygiene from the dentist.
@@samik884 I'm not an expert. I wash after (I floss and rinse before). I suspect this is why they say to do it in the morning before eating, so you don't have too much breakfast remains on your teeth. I can't imagine not brushing after, as the whole feeling is yucky then. I guess if you also want to wash before, it wouldn't hurt?
Non Biased results! Oil pulling has critically saved my dental health!! My goodness was in pain to even sleep at night. Started oil pulling BOOM, back on point.
Do it for sure at night too before going to sleep if you have problems with teeth/gums. So that your bad bacteria will die and healing processes will take place while you are sleeping
@@bigjoesshow5648 I had the same question so i googled it , brush and floss your teeth after oil pulling. And don’t spit the oil down the drain. Spit it out into a trash can .
I had 3 cavities, one cavity was so bad I thought my tooth would fall apart. The first two were completely healed in 3 months the one really bad cavity took 6 months. It worked so good I wish I had x-rays of the teeth..
@@mikepaquette1245 after brushing my teeth. Once in the morning while showering and once in the evening. Only takes about a table spoon. Oil pulling works because it kills the bacteria in the cavity.
I said this to someone else in these comments, I’m going to say it to you too. I just need an answer and calm reassurance. Please help me to calm down. I started oil pulling because my teeth are sensitive in one spot. The dentists have never said a thing about it and for many years my teeth had been said to be very healthy. I just tried oil pulling two weeks ago to get rid of the sensitivity and it now isn’t so sensitive anymore… However, I never really pull back my lips and look at all my teeth. I pulled my lips back 2 days ago just to smile at myself and I noticed a black line in my back tooth. It can’t be a crack because I always had these lines in my back teeth, I just thought they were shaped like that. But when I looked 2 days ago, it was black! Not A big thick black line but a thin one. If this is a cavity, should I keep my faith and not worry because I started an oil pulling routine? Please, I’m just asking for reassurance. Coming from you would be special because I read your comment thread about you leaving the coconut oil on your cavity and you said the blackness went away. It doesn’t hurt at all to touch it, it’s just a strange thin vertical black line.
It definitely works, it helps your breath improve in a big way and my dentist asked what ive been doing as i dont have as much stains on my teeth as i used to. My mums receding gum lines were also improved in a big way with oil pulling, everyone must try it!
I have oil pulled in the past but was kinda exhausted by swishing. So I took the coconut oil mixed with baking soda, activated charcoal, bentonite clay and essential oils of choice for a polishing paste. Have been doing this for 10 years. I always have these ingredients on hand and my oral hygiene and health are better than ever. No sensitivity no major plaque build up definitely no morning breath.😁
Hi! Does zeolith make a good replacement for bentonite clay? I have all of these ingredients in my house except for clay. I do have, however this volcanic powder thing called zeolith. It looks pretty much like the clay I am used with, but I have heard contradictory things about it, so I don't know what to think...
Can I ask a question, you’ve been using activated charcoal for 10 years?! I heard it whitens by removing the enamel, which doesn’t grow back. Is that dentists way of getting people to pay for whitening?
I use volcanic black clay (cosmetic clay that is used for face mask), put water (1:1 portion) to make it a mud and add salt (non iodine) at the same time when I add water to solve it. After that I add coconut oil 2-4 table spoons and essential antibacterial oils like oregano, clove bud. Tooth paste is ready that will save your teeth and gums from any inflammation, cavities. On 50 gr of clay +40-50gr of water and salt to make it a mud. Then add 2-4 table spoons of coconut oil and 5-10 drops of oregano and clove bud essential oils of each. That amount will be enough for 1 month+ if brush twice a day. Sometimes I keep that mud in my mouth for 10-15 minutes up to 1 hour before brushing away.
If you are going to keep that home tooth paste(from clay) in your mouth for more than 2-3 minutes, make sure not to add much essential oil not to burn mucous membranes in your mouth. The reason I keep for long time is to reduce inflammation after my dead (without nerves) tooth broke. I was told to pull that broken dead tooth, but I wanna do it later(save money) to put implant immediately after pulling off that tooth. In fact I got that home tooth paste recipe from internet about 5-6 years ago. I wish I knew it when I was 13 years old, when my teeth/gums problem began. Instead of black volcanic clay you can use any cosmetic (refined) clay you have, from white to green or blue clays from any area. I liked the most black clay, either volcanic or black clay from Dead sea near Israel. As they are antiflammatory plus has lots of trace minerals. I saw review on youtube of a woman who cured her paradonthosis (may be incorrect spelling, it is severe inflammation of gums when all teeth are close to fall off as they don't sit in their places due to gums inflammation) just applying Dead sea clay several times a day for a month or several weeks.
I had a really bad inflamed molar 5 years ago. I used coconut oil and a drop or 2 of tea tree oil, swooshed it in my mouth for the duration of my entire shower routine… the next day, 0 inflammation and soreness, it definitely worked for me.
It does work! I started brushing my teeth 🦷 using a combination of coconut oil, sea salt and baking soda, no more plaque buildup or nasty bad breath. My teeth have gotten whiter and the brown stains on my molars 🦷 have diminished drastically. I had deep cleaning and had to do this spread out in 3 different appointments, when I went the following week to get the other side of my teeth clean, the dental hygienist said, I can’t believe you have build up again and it’s only been a week. That’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands and I have not seen any build up whatsoever. I am so happy I will continue to do this. I stop using toothpaste, doesn’t do much for you, except give you fresh of breath.
I must agree with you that it removes plaque and freshens the breath. I usually do it at night and leave the oil on my teeth. I noticed that when I wake up in the mornings, I do not have any bad breath. It reduces the growth of bacteria for sure.
*_If you are doing Intermittent Fasting, remember oil and fat does not trigger insulin, but I'd advice to keep ALL calories around 1-2 meals, so doing the coconut oil pulling right after a meal might be best; this is also the time when the bacteria that is not beneficial to you has it's feast in your mouth._* *_Also, it seems normal mouthwash leads to a tremendous % increase in heart failure._*
@@thetruthandnothingbutthetr6484 Bro, you are asking a random youtube commenter to provide evidence. These people's logic has been cucked by social media algorithms.
I've read several comments that said the oil pulling caused their mouth to become dry, and yours is the first to say it actually reduced dryness. But nobody has said it makes existing dryness worse, so that is all very odd.
I make a combination of OIL, tooth paste , and HYDROGEN PEROXIDE. I put it into the blender and then pour it into a pump dispenser . It is true after about 3 weeks of regular use , you can scrape the tartar off so easy. .
Went to my dentist for a cleaning after a month of switching to baking soda, peroxide, then coconut oil brushing. Hygenist told me i had absolutely no inflamation in gums. Which was a first said. Told her i replaced tooth paste with the above. Baking soda and coconut oil can replace alot of hygenic products that are toxic for us.
Great! I want know how is the process, so you need to mix the ingredients and use like a tooth paste? And then, use the peroxide like a mouth washer? can you help me? Thanks!
@@VictoriaDonovann no I do each individually. I do use food grade peroxide after baking soda and then coconut oil all applied with a brush. My teeth feel very smooth and clean. Coconut oil makes a great skin moisturizer and I use it for hair conditioning.
I also do oil pulling with olive oil and gurgle the throat, so it works to reduce the cases of sore throat and it’s good for vocal cords as well. And according to some doctors gurgling (not necessarily with oil) stimulates nervus vagus- the nerve that goes through all the body and is responsible for a lot of reactions of parasympathetic nervous system. So it can be not just oil pulling but oil gurgling)

Thank you for making this -- I would shout about it from the rooftops. I suffer from dental problems due to symptoms and bad habits related to PTSD. I drink too much alcohol and get so depressed I sometimes don't brush my teeth for days. I used to have excellent oral health and never had a cavity prior to getting PTSD. I went for my first dental cleaning in 5 years back in October -- I had FIVE cavities. It was a huge wake-up call! I do notice a difference in my oral health when I pull regularly. It's how I start my day and try to set myself up for some success, regardless of what comes of the day. I precede pulling with a good tongue scraping. My mouth feels cleaner and my gums are healing, but I wont get the full benefits of freshening my breath unless I give up the alcohol (which is tough for me, sorry to report). My dentist's office weren't too interested in hearing about oil pulling as a preventative measure and a natural remedy. Shame -- it really does complement good, regular dental hygiene, but the Western world seems to prefer alcoholic mouthwashes and profitable procedures.
You can give up the alcohol, trust me. When you take a step back and look at it for what it is, it only ever takes from you. Your money, your time, your health (the stuff is just poision). All to develop shallow relationships and memories which can barely be remembered. It's ridiculous really---I'm one week sober after 25 years of drinking. It's a start haha!
I was recently at the dentist. I have 3 cavities plus peridontal disease, which requires intensive cleaning procedures, which I have no desire to go through! Also, I have sensitive teeth. I am hoping that oil pulling will help to resolve all these conditions naturally. I have been doing it for about a week now and have noticed that the tooth sensitivity seems to be diminishing. And I plan to continue doing this long term.
Ya got this! Oil pulling really is a long term solution that you need to make into a daily habit just like brushing teeth to get its full benefits! Keep us posted of your future results (or lack of results!) :D
@@tisid4376 I have had periodontal disease for a long time. I started oil pulling about 4 weeks before my last visit to the dentist (for 20 minutes every day). My dentist was very impressed with my progress and said the plaque was well taken care of. I didn't tell her about the oil pulling though. My best dental visit ever!
When comparing the before and after shots, I noticed your teeth looked more dense than before. I notice this too when I oil pull with sesame oil. I actually felt like the oil was oddly realigning my teeth and making them more straight (im not kidding!) Hopefully it can restore my enamel and help rid my mouth of cavities.
It really is magical how this seemingly odd routine can improve oral hygiene so much! I used to have tons of cavities as a child, wish I had given oil pulling a whirl back then haha.
@@OpulentBeauty888 could it be bc of plaque between 🦷 that goes away with the oil pulling hence they fall in line tighter than with the plaque in between 🤷🏾
if you don't have one yet, you should get a tongue cleaner to top it off. especially right after oil pulling, you'll have alot of stuff on your tongue to scrub off from and it improves breath even more so. : ) I have a cooper u-shaped one.
I do indeed have a tongue scraper (one of those metal U shaped ones) and love it! For anyone who is reading this, if you haven't tried a tongue scraper and have bad breath, give it a whirl!
@@raymon245 I did use a toothbrush in the past and it's a night and day difference. The toothbrush bristles are soft and don't really "scrape" anything off. Feel free to google some tongue scraping videos and compare it to your toothbrush method!
My wife has been oil pulling for almost a year now. At first she didn't want to spit in the sink (fear of clogging) and just swallowed the stuff when done. After two days of this her lifetime constipation was resolved. The oil is magical in that regard. She now puts coconut oil on almost everything she eats and her bowels move as regular as a Swiss watch.
Thats actually not good. The oil contains all the bacteria in your mouth and she's spreading that to her gut and other areas. Should spit it in the garbage.
A friend of mine told me that she had been doing oil pulling when I exclaimed that her voice sounded 20 years younger! She also stated that her phlegm that she got in her throat every morning was not happening anymore at all and that her little slight repeated cough throughout all the day was not there and she felt like her upper respiratory had been cleaned out. She is also a singer and it has improved her singing voice, it is much clearer and More Beautiful as well as stronger! So I'm going to try it.
Really helpful!! You can see that from 1:42 to 1:45, his right front tooth, has a smoother texture at the bottom than previously before. A slight but noticeable change.
I oil pull quite regularly although miss a day or two at times. The dentist tells me that my teeth are cleaner than 90+% of her patients. I told her I was oil pulling and although she didn’t comment on that particularly, she said “ continue with whatever it is that you are doing”.
I had my sons oil pull for a month while waiting for cavities to be worked on. The dentist said they had no plaque or tartar on their teeth and the cavity hole was clean!
I have cavities and tooth decay from not taking care of my teeth during depression. I also have a high anxiety of the dentist. So I’m trying oil pulling and see if that works
I started oil pulling and within 2 weeks, a big piece of plaque came off my tooth. I thought it was a piece of tooth and my dentist was amazed! I know it works! BTW-I said the same thing when I saw the second slide about the live parasites being less.
You have a great vibe! Thanks for spreading that knowledge. My gums line came back after oil pulling. Teeth that were a 4 went down to a 2! Did I say that right? My gums grew back in laymen terms. I was told this was impossible! Well I guess it's possible.
Thank you and that's great to hear!! Seems like you have had a much bigger transformation than me and that's fabulous 🔥🔥 You should totally make a video on it if you have some before and after pictures :D
Now that you mention it, whenever I consistently oil pull (I use sesame oil because coconut oil irritates my body) I notice my gums are a bit "longer" haha. I thought I was just imagining things!
I have been doing oil pulling for the last couple of years and yes! There has been remarkable changes ....the inflammation in my gums have reduced remarkably....they look so much more healthier.....my mouth smells lot fresher....I m gonna continue this life long
After finding cavities and tooth decay after not going to the dentist in 4 years (I had covid and depression and wasn’t taking care of myself) I’m going to oil pull with neem based toothpaste and charcoal infused oil mouthwash. I have high anxiety when it comes to the dentist. I hope to update you all positively
@@danieellisarguelles8905 they’ve stopped hurting and I’m trying to eat less sweets. Still drinking coffee though as I can’t live without that lol. But still doing the routine and I’ve started leaving coconut oil on my back teeth when I go to sleep
My healthcare lady said it would help with vertigo due to an ear infection. AND IT DID! Also, I used infused garlic in olive oil and dropped it in the ear. I'm feeling so much better!
I actually started doing this and I’m on day 3. I only did this because nothing worked to cure my bleeding gums and sensitive gums. I had a sore on my gum near my tooth (it ached so much I got a fever from it) and it kept bleeding. Was thinking of going to see the dentist but after seeing my husband get an emergency root canal and 10 canker sores under his tongue from the antibiotics prescribed, I thought to do this method before going to the dentist. So far, my mouth isn’t inflamed anymore and I don’t have a fever from the pain. It still bleeds a little (I mean it is a sore after all) but it definitely works for inflammation!! Only on day 3 and my gums are looking great and not feeling as sensitive as before! Will continue oil pulling to see if it will restore my gum line and enamel back!
I didn’t believe in it until I tried it. I went through some serious depression and didn’t brush my teeth for a few years. Yes I know it’s gross but I have crooked teeth and I felt like if they all fall out then maybe I can get dentures and I’ll have nice teeth and also I just didn’t feel worth brushing. Anyways I had a cavity in my front tooth, I could see a large hole in my front tooth at the gum line. I oil pulled for a few months and the hole went away and now I have no hole. I went to the dentist and I have no cavities at all and my gums and teeth are healthy. I didn’t brush for nearly 5 years.
@@Frenetic321 yeah, I told my dentist about it and he said there’s no way, but I had a hole in my front tooth that I could stick a prong of a fork into easily. It wasn’t a tiny hole or a dirt spot. I know how my teeth looked, and I know they look better now than they have sense I was a little kid lol. They’re a bit off white but not even yellow anymore and I was a smoker for a little over 20 years. I quit 2 years ago.
@@mikepaquette1245 I was doing it about 20 minutes at a time and 2-4 times a day pretty much in the morning before bed and after eating. And it took about 3 months to FULLY go away but it was starting to go away after a month I could see a difference.
It is very common in India. You can also use Musturad oil + Salt to keep your teeth in good condition. You can also use Neem stick as a brush. You can also use guava leaves to remove plague, bacteria and teeth pain.
I do this everytime I shower. Also if I start having an irritation it fixes it. I’ve gone through times when I couldn’t eat well and it affected my teeth to it was very painful. Do it multiple times a day and it cures abscesses rather quickly, white teeth and fresh breath. You can almost exclusively do this. Wait a half hour and rinse with salt water and lightly brush.
In our early traditions, brushing teeth with oil (mustard and salt/sodium bicarbonate was very common. Brushing with neem twigs(azaridachta indica) helps a lot
Thanks for the insight. I have trouble with receding gums, bad breathe and inflammation. The dental hygienist wants over $1000 to clean my mouth. I figure a couple, fo jars of coconut oil can’t do any harm. So yes I’m going to give it a go.
I need to resume oil pulling. It's been a couple of years. I DOES work!! Seriously. One HAS TO swish the oil around for AT LEAST 15 minutes, which can make the face/cheek muscles ache for the first 5 days. No problems after that. Use less oil than shown in this video. A LEVEL tablespoon is fine, as saliva comes into play as well. I did it for 30 days (as a test) and my teeth got SIGNIFICANTLY whiter (cigarettes, coffee and chai), calculus broke off and clean breath. Of course I continued to smoke and drink coffee and chai! But I've ALWAYS rinsed (a cultural habit) whether it's after a meal or a sugary/alcoholic drink. FYI, I'm a "Boomer". Thanks for the video. It acted as a reminder.
@@Button_Mushrooms5 a LEVEL tablespoon of COCONUT OIL. 20 minutes of swishing it around and pulling it BETWEEN the teeth. Don't let it just sit there in your mouth. Muscles WILL ache for the first 5 - 7 days, as with starting ANY exercise program. Maybe you want to begin with 10 minutes for the first week and increase it to 15 in the 2nd week, 20 in the 3rd. You WILL see calculus bits if you spit it out into a paper towel.
@@69bobr Ok thanks a lot for your detailed answer brother..... I am using coconut oil for pulling too but recently started so that's why I have asked, I swish it for 15 minutes.... So you use it on daily basis or twice or thrice a week?
@@Button_Mushrooms5 I did it daily for a month, as a test, a couple of years ago. BEFORE you brush your teeth in the morning. See the other comments from people who have been doing it for about 9 years now. Very detailed.
I do this. I buy the large coconut oil and put it into a smaller jar and melt it slightly then I add clove oil. Not a ton but several drops for the mason jar and mix it up and let it solidify again then scope some out each morning first thing. I swish for 10-20 minutes depending on what I’m doing. I do chores around the house. It makes the time go faster. Last January my dentist told me he thought I may have a cavity under my crown. I started oil pulling again (I hadn’t done it in a while) I went back for more X-rays and the dentist said he didn’t notice the spot. Not sure it’s related to the oil pulling but I haven’t had any complaints so I’ll keep doing it. I notice my breath is fresher and I don’t need to use mouthwash like I had to before. I barely use mouthwash anymore and my gums are not as sore. I do have receding gums so I will be interested to see what will happen there although I’m not sure oil pulling helps with that. I need to read up more on it.
I just started oil pulling and after the 1st day I could tell a difference in my breath and how much cleaner my mouth tastes & feels. I woke up this morning and didn't even have that yucky morning breath taste in my mouth. Im sold on this method and so happy I decided to try it
Now getting into this and have some questions. 1. Do you oil pull at any specific time of day? 2. Do you pull before or after brushing/flossing? 3. What happens AFTER you spit out the oil, do you rinse out the "residue" with water? (I'm thinking that oily taste/feel might be unpleasant for some?)
Answers:- 1. Morning time 2. Before brushing and flossing up . 3. After you spit out you can rinse with water if you feel uncomfortable with coconut oil, you can use other oils as well.
I can't thank you enough I've been wanting to try this oil pulling for my teeth and didn't know if it would actually work but watching your video I'm convinced I'm going to do this oil pulling thing and again thank you soooo much for making this video it's greatly appreciated
Coconut oil has natural anti-microbial properties and plaque is just a natural shield or buffer that allows microbes to flourish behind by hiding. Makes sense.
In Ayurveda, Sesame Oil is used for oil pulling. Sesame Oil pulls bacteria from the mouth better than Coconut Oil, but the choice is yours. Swish with the oil for at least 5 minutes for best results.😊👍
I m actually trying out a few different oils at the moment as an experiment (sesame seed, sunflower seed and olive oil) and yes, sesame oil works well too and has a nice toasty taste to it!
@@EowynRises Yes! That’s excellent!! Oil Pulling creates the perfect amount of circulation to break down toxins (infection) within the mouth, gums, throat, and lymph system. It’s great for sinus infections, ear infections, and recurring tonsillitis.
I had tried oil pulling several months or a year ago and I soon had a dental visit for cleaning. The technician and the dentist were both quizzing me on what I had done differently because I had terrible stains on my teeth. They asked about coffee. They asked about blueberries and tea. And all I could tell them was the new thing I had done was oil pulling. I sat in that chair for the longest time while she scraped every surface of my teeth. It was excruciating and painful. The dentist told me Maybe the oil had killed the bacteria on my teeth, and the stains were left by their decayed bodies. What a thought! Dead bacteria wrapped around my teeth! Needless to say upon their urging and my distress at that appointment, I quit oil pulling. Fast forward to a couple months ago , in trying to heal my thyroid I quit fluoride. I'm using a toothpaste recipe from Doctor Eric Berg. It was a difficult decision to make because I have extremely sensitive teeth and have been using more and more fluoride to keep the pain at bay. So this toothpaste contains coconut oil and baking soda in equal parts and 1/4 part of hydrogen peroxide. I began noticing some benefits almost immediately. I have less inflammation which was a problem in the back left constantly. My breath was getting better even though I was eating more garlic than ever. And best of all my teeth Don't Hurt! So this toothpaste experience has made me want to try oil pulling again but I wanted to do some research. I have been watching videos of people like you, who give a testimony of how the pulling has worked for them. What I absolutely love about your video that has not been stated in any other I have watched, is how you describe the feeling of after dentist cleaning in your lower front teeth. I am sold! I always keep coconut oil to cook with and now I can't wait to start oil pulling again! Thank you so much for this detailed testimonial. You cannot know how much I needed to hear that part.❤️❤️❤️
I find it concerning that your dentist scraped your teeth so hard that it caused you physical pain, and then they discouraged you from oil pulling "BECAUSE IT KILLED THE BACTERIA" leaving stains, supposedly. It doesn't make sense tbh. If you had kept oil pulling the stains may have gone away, especially since the bacteria were DYING BECAUSE OF THE OIL PULLING. It sounds to me as if your dentists were actively trying to destroy your tooth enamel with their "cleaning" and I've had some unfortunate experiences in the past where some dentists did the same-operating on my teeth under the pretense of cavities just to milk monkey out of my parents (LONG and scary story but I'll elaborate in a later comment if you want to know) and my enamel ruined by braces glue. So I don't have much confidence in the good faith of your dentists at this visit. I'd appreciate some updates from you later after you've oil pulled for an extended period of time. And next doctor's visit I wouldn't tell them about your oil pulling at all. If you're using coconut oil I have doubts that it would leave any stains. If anything after an extended period of time, it might lift them off your teeth, according to the other comments on here. Your dentists are working for big pharma-brands like Colgate, etc. I don't think anyone commenting here works for big coconut oil xD at least I don't. I've been using it for a week tho in hopes of reversing some of the damage done to my teeth in the name of greed, and after an extended period of time I hope to report good findings. Already I'll say that my mouth feels better in general. But it's only been a week and I really have been damaged. I expect it to take more time to fix than a week, so I'm willing to be patient.
@@SonicdaShapeshifter sorry for the late reply somehow I didn't get the notification. Been on vacation with family during Christmas and New Years. I've been getting good results with my tooth sensitivity and breath since I started pulling again and my dentist appointment coming in March I'm not even sure I'm ever going to go back to the dentist because I don't think I need them anymore. I've been watching and learning from people who quit the dentist and I think I am now one of them at age 61. If you do have the inclination to expound your story I am here to listen. Also may I wish you all the best in your pulling Adventure. ❤️
It works very well. However, I usually do it only once a week and I use mustard oil with turmeric, salt and powdered neem leaves instead of coconut oil, the way my folks in India taught me. Whenever I missed it for long and felt something amiss in my gums or teeth, I just returned back to this technique, and it saved me many trips to a dentist.
@LilyLeaf791 i usually eye ball the quantities but for your reference they should be around 2 tbsp mustard oil (never use refined oil), 1 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp powdered tsp of freshly ground dry neem leaves. You may use fresh neem leaves too if u have access. The consistency I prefer is that between of an oil and that of a toothpaste. So, non-runny but not very dry as well so that when massaging gums the paste does not scratch. Also, I apply this paste only to gums and not to teeth as salt can be abrasive to teeth. Hope this helps.
@@aparnaroy8814i massage for 3-10 mins depending on the situation and time available. If any pain then I do it longer and if all is good then even 3 mins are enough. Since it has turmeric, which can stain, I usually rinse immediately. Only rarely if any tooth is hurting do I rinse after about 30 mins.
Thank you! Excellent video. Going on 12+ yrs w/o a cavity here. I have done a LOT of things to keep my teeth/gums healthy including maintaining a higher blood level of vitamin D3 (40ng or more which is also great for staying virus-free), using a sulca brush, and brushing only with baking soda, but oil pulling is one of my favorites. I've been doing it now, for several years. For me, it helps with what I call 'flossless flossing'. Swishing the oil around for 15-20 minutes (I do it while washing dishing and such), helps to loosen bits of food that might either need flossing or get missed altogether. I do occasionally floss, but it’s a rarity that I need to.
Did you brush your teeth after the pulling or before? Do you do it in the morning? I have an abscess and weak tooth. Can I oil pull before breakfast, and just eat breakfast then brush teeth? I don’t want to brush my teeth twice. Thanks!
@@plumeria66 I normally brush after. Usually do the pull while in the shower then brush after. Also if you have an abscess, get some saline salt packets. Do pulls with the saline also. I’ve learned that coconut pulls are good for prevention, and the saline pulls are good for for treatment. I deal with abscesses also. Saline to treat, coconut to prevent. Should only take a couple days or so of pulling with saline before you start to feel relief. Been doing this process for years. Hope it works for you.
@@SuperTool420 Thanks a lot! I have been doing salt water rinses after meals. I use sea salt. Is that similar to what you’re doing with the saline packets? Also, does the oil pulling dislodge crowns and fillings? And does it erode tooth enamel or make it sensitive? My lower front tooth and gum is the problem. Due to bone loss, the tooth is not firm and hurts when I bite down. So I avoid using it which is hard because it is right in the front! The dentist gave me chlorhexidine oral rinse to use for a week and I don’t know if it helped. It stained my teeth. My tooth is still weak and the bump on the gum below is still there. The gum is sore to the touch if I bite down on the tooth.
It’s not harmful to your teeth or crowns that I know of. Only good things I’ve heard. I assume over use could damage camel but I’ve done saline pulls 10 times a day for an abscess before. No adverse affects
It also improves inflammation elsewhere, such as arthritis (both hubby and me) and Fibromyalgia (me), reduced allergy symptoms (both), overall feeling of well-being, more energy, and it detoxes as well. We both felt less “toxic”. Systemic health begins in the mouth. After a while we just stopped more or less. It got to be annoying swishing oil around in your mouth for 20 min, which is what we read. You’re also supposed to do it in the morning before you eat or drink anything. That was inconvenient, and often forgot. I don’t have an extra 20 min on weekday mornings, or even 15.

Stacie...I originally heard from a few people that it must be 15 minutes swishing. It was awfully long for me to do also.... didn't keep it up. Then years later developed problems. To avoid root canal from two different dentists, I went to a natural dentist that gave print out instructions on oil pulling for 10 minutes in morning before eating ( good for me cuz doesn't take much for me to gag and out it comes). So I can build up to 8 or 10 minutes. I watch the TV morning news to keep distracted. I do have to rest a bit and not swish....while swishing 😅. This organic coconut oil swishing still works! Don't give up. Even once or twice a week makes a difference. I don't oil pull regularly (every day) except if I notice a problem. Good for when gums or teeth are hurting too!! I got a crown and not a root canal. It's been over 10 years, even tho natural dentist gave me no guarantees it would last one year! I have no problems and a new regular dentist who, so far, works with me regarding the care of my mouth/teeth. Limited to no x-rays. She said my gums were very healthy. They had been hurting a bit at the time so sure I would get a bad report 😊
I used to not take very good care of my teeth and I have several crowns and missing teeth from having them pulled which has led to some gum recession and root sensitivity. I started oil pulling years ago sporadically and didn't know if it was making any difference. I picked it up again steadily this past year. I get infection flare ups and it absolutely helps to heal them and takes away pain within a day, between brushing, warm salt water rinses, then the coconut oil. My nightly routine is to brush, floss, mouthwash rinse then oil pulling for about 5 or 10 minutes. My gums are much lighter now, a healthier light pink instead of red and puffy. I use the coconut oil on my skin as well when I get dry skin or flare ups of rashes. It's a great way to moisturize your skin if you have pets too because it's food grade, non toxic to cats and dogs.
I am ashamed to say that 7 years had passed before I realised that I had not had a check up or visit to the dentist. My dentist removed me from their list but I was very lucky to be taken on at another one privately. I was dreading what I might be told. Guess what - I needed NO treatment! My dentist even commented that I must have a healthy diet. I oil pull and floss when I remember to and always clean my teeth at least twice a day. I eat a plant based diet and try to drink plenty of water. Reading the comments on here has made me decide to commit to daily oil pulling going forward. I'm also going to look into how to do this with wheatgrass.
I started to do oil pulling for almost a week. At first I wasn't easy lol I could only do almost 5 minutes after like 4 days I could do 15 minutes ish. My mouth feel so clean and my teeth feel shiny and smooth. Will continue to do it and see if my teeth get whiter..Thank you for sharing your experience. Will post again after a week. Take care 😊
When I first started oil pulling, I began to have really lucid dreams. My mouth felt better in general and my appetite decreased. Also, I recommend using an organic oil for oil pulling.
I can totally believe you. I have a wide spectrum sleep eating disorder (sleep walking down the road with a chicken leg in my mouth lol) and oil pulling definately helped with the sleeping patterns
Oil pulling: as the word suggests, it helps you to pull something out of nowhere. So, the application has to be carefully sorted out. Applying it to non-recommended areas coils cause severe damage to oral health. And the mouth along with the tong is naturally wet to start the digestive process at the entry!!
If you're getting plaque build-up, you can also start brushing with tooth powder instead of paste. It seems to work better than the commercial stuff. The recipe is 2 parts baking soda to 1 part salt. Just dip your toothbrush into it and balance a pile of it on the side of the brush. Also, 'extra soft' bristles are better at getting deep into the grooves between your teeth, but they are harder to find in stores. You usually have to order them online. Another thing, if you're still finding little patches of plaque in the hard to reach places of your mouth, you could try using a smaller brush. The bonus on that front is that at least it's a little easier to find 'extra soft' in kid sizes. It takes a little longer, but at least the brush head can maneuver around better in your mouth. And lastly, you can just buy a little dental pick, and gently go around your teeth with it once in a while. In general, I feel like it's better to know how to keep one's own teeth clean than to expect the dentist to do it for you once every six months.
i get some build up but its because i have a wire behind my bottom row from after having bracers & it builds up in areas the brush cant get and flossing cant reach really annoying.. but I think I will give this a shot
I'm crossing my fingers this helps me too. I fell on my face a few weeks ago and my front tooth nearly got knocked out. Luckily my dentist saw me right away and was able to move the tooth back in place and essentially stitched the gums back together and wired it in position to my neighboring teeth. After some healing, I'll need to get a root canal done. I'm hoping the oil pulling can help with the healing process! At least my tootb survived somehow.
I didn't even hear about doing oil pulling until a few months ago (someone posted a comment about oil pulling in a video about dental care). I am older and teeth/gums are not in the best condition (so I wasn't looking for a miracle cure). After doing the oil pulling with coconut oil for a few months here is my perspective. It works, but moreso is the indirect benefits for someone like myself that isn't that diligent about brushing or flossing on a regular basis. Because the oil pulling makes me more aware of my teeth/gum health and it gets me to start brushing and using an oral irrigator on more of a regular basis). Often I don't brush twice a day (I am sometimes exhausted at night and just fall asleep). And in the morning I find putting toothpaste or mouthwash in my mouth can be very irritating (even trying toothpaste different brands with lower sugar/no sugar, etc.). With the coconut oil it is not irritating and I do it First thing when I wake up (so I am giving my teeth and gums an initial cleaning). And because of this I am finding myself brushing, using dental picks and the oral irragator on a more regular basis. I definately recommend for people who are like me, they are not caring for their teeth and gums like they should (which is brushing properly at least 2 times a day and flossing, etc.)
Ayurveda ancient Indian medicine had this process we do it with cold pressed sun dried sesame oil. Coconut oil is now trending in the world of internet.

Do you still do oil pullinub
Good to know about the sinus infection. Thanks.
Thanks for telling us about the sinus infections. I have Wegener’s Granulomatosis and the sinuses are really attacked with it and always inflamed. They are very destroyed same with my right ear.

Oil pulling worked great when I had a tooth infection. I did it three times a day and it was healed by the fourth day. No more tooth ache.

Over time, pulling w/coconut oil totally removed the odor. To my way of thinking, that means it pulled leftover toxins out of me. The odor never came back.

Thank you for illustrated reply dear. My mom started with gum receding, will try to convince her to do oil pulling.

@@stevethered5506 thanks Steve, im going to try it
what do you mean impurities from the throat? Are you talking about tonsil stones?
Sorry for the delay, I didn't receive notification and only now this video appeared on my feed. I think by now you probably drawing mucus (impurities) from the throat. This is actually toxins extracted from around the body. Another tip i just came across. Rinse your mouth with warm salted water and while doing so, rub your teeth with your finger. This is to ensure no set oil is still clung to the teeth!!
I watched this today and started as soon as the video ended. I did a heaping teaspoon full for 15 minutes. I feel a difference already and am going to continue.
How is it going now, are you still doing it?
Can I use almond oil?
Most people like coconut oil or sesame seed oil in their most natural form, like organic, because they've had the most benefits. But other oils like even olive oil have been used and still benefit the teeth and mouth, so even though you don't swallow the oil while pulling, as long as the oil is approved for ingestion it can be used.
I do a tbs for 5-10 min depending on what I'm doing. It works! You don't need to go for 20 minutes. Well, I don't anyway.
You have to build up the time. 15-20 min is best - but if you try that right away, you're likely to gag.

Hi! Does zeolith make a good replacement for bentonite clay? I have all of these ingredients in my house except for clay. I do have, however this volcanic powder thing called zeolith. @@eeaotly the clay is very drying so I use very little and I have never heard of zeolite before until today. Now I'm curious ty
Can we use unrefined coconut oil for oil pulling
What are the measurements of the oil, salt, and baking soda? I’d like to try it. And about how much do you brush with?
How much salt? a pinch? Many thanks in advance.
I must agree with you that it removes plaque and freshens the breath. I usually do it at night and leave the oil on my teeth. I noticed that when I wake up in the mornings, I do not have any bad breath. It reduces the growth of bacteria for sure.

I started oil pulling and within 2 weeks, a big piece of plaque came off my tooth. I thought it was a piece of tooth and my dentist was amazed! I know it works! BTW-I said the same thing when I saw the second slide about the live parasites being less.
That's crazy how plaque can build up like that!! It really goes to show that brushing teeth is just not enough as a oral hygiene routine.

It is very common in India. You can also use Musturad oil + Salt to keep your teeth in good condition. You can also use Neem stick as a brush. You can also use guava leaves to remove plague, bacteria and teeth pain.
@colourblack4704 true but it is not common in India . Very few people do it . One reason could be cold pressed coconut oil is very expensive.
I do this everytime I shower. Also if I start having an irritation it fixes it. I’ve gone through times when I couldn’t eat well and it affected my teeth to it was very painful. Thanks for the insight. I have trouble with receding gums, bad breathe and inflammation. The dental hygienist wants over $1000 to clean my mouth. I figure a couple, fo jars of coconut oil can’t do any harm. So yes I’m going to give it a go.
Also have receding gums. Can you give your update? Thank you.
How many minutes you swish oil in your mouth? And which oil?
@@Button_Mushrooms5 a LEVEL tablespoon of COCONUT OIL.
20 minutes of swishing it around and pulling it BETWEEN the teeth. Don't let it just sit there in your mouth. Muscles WILL ache for the first 5 - 7 days, as with starting ANY exercise program.
Maybe you want to begin with 10 minutes for the first week and increase it to 15 in the 2nd week, 20 in the 3rd.
You WILL see calculus bits if you spit it out into a paper towel.

1. Do you oil pull at any specific time of day?
2. Do you pull before or after brushing/flossing?
3. What happens AFTER you spit out the oil, do you rinse out the "residue" with water? (I'm thinking that oily taste/feel might be unpleasant for some?)
Oil pull, spit out, scrape tongue, brush teeth, and roll
Answers:-
1. Morning time
2. Before brushing and flossing up .
3. After you spit out you can rinse with water if you feel uncomfortable with coconut oil, you can use other oils as well.

Thank you for sharing. Dr. Berg has excellent products.

Would you be kind enough to share the recipe in detail?
@@Mossy179 I have added the recipe
@@MaverickRam how long do u leave it for . Do you rinse your mouth after massaging ? How long do you massage for
@@aparnaroy8814i massage for 3-10 mins depending on the situation and time available. If any pain then I do it longer and if all is good then even 3 mins are enough. Oil pulling make skin black? And it make pimples on skin? And it make gap between the teeth?
Did brushing with baking soda damage your enamel?
I started pulling with coconut oil for an abscess and tooth ache. Works wonders. I also pull with saline solution.

I quit coffee and tea before starting a daily oil pulling regime. 2 straight months and I definitely had whiter teeth.

I eat a plant based diet and try to drink plenty of water. Reading the comments on here has made me decide to commit to daily oil pulling going forward. I'm also going to look into how to do this with wheatgrass.

Hi, do you do that in the morning, or before going to bed? Do you still need to brush your teeth using toothpaste after oil pulling?
Oil pulling: as the word suggests, it helps you to pull something out of nowhere. So, the application has to be carefully sorted out. Applying it to non-recommended areas coils cause severe damage to oral health. And the mouth along with the tong is naturally wet to start the digestive process at the entry!!
I have no idea how I ended up here but this dude has such a soothing voice….
I like the details. Thank you for sharing 😊
@@Siquomb1 Yeah, I don't know why I did that. I was probably sleep deprived. Hope it helps!

Yeas Bro. It also slightly reduces fatigue. More mind clarity
