Definitely one of the best drummers in the world!
Finally someone besides myself knows talent when they see it ... Bobby's the man, I'll put Bobby against anyone
We need some more Spastic Ink in our lives...
I used to go to a jam session many years ago in San Antonio Texas where, when he was between gigs with Riot, played with The Toman Brother. He is so humble. When he let my band use their equipment, he even complimented me on my drumming. I away looked up to him. Check out Spastic Ink. We all knew he was a great drummer. He never threw it in our faces.
Yes.. So humble and while in San Antonio area he does local gigs and no matter how small or large crowd he is not going threw the motions. always professional. Now he's got the drum chair for the King of Country Music George Strait. Congrats to Bobby.
Did you play with Ronnie Stixx..?
I can sit and watch Jarzombek and Zonder just play drums!! The rest of the band is a bonus!!! Amazing..
This guy is not a drummer, he is a POET ...
what a good drum compositions
This is just sweet, tight, great drumming. Great syncopation, no wasted motion, excellent control, syncopation and dynamics, and… it rocks!
I believe that he is the BEST drummer on EARTH ... i really love the way he plays
IMO this guy has to be one of the if not the best drummer on the scene right now. He can play pretty much anything and he keeps it musical at the same time which in and of itself is a giant accomplishment especially when you play this kind of music.
The seven dislikes are from Lars Ulrich.
hahahahaha, youare right man, amazing drumme, great music
actually not sure if Lars would be able to hit the 'thumbs down' properly
😂😂😂😂
Seven stupid persons :)
loooooooooooool
I had no idea he drummed on this album. Him and his brother are immensely gifted.
This album has some of the best drummers there is: Bobby, Mark Zonder, Thomas Lang and Matt Lynch give us some jaw dropping ear candy.
Awesome drum parts!
Ayy
Those aren't headphones in case you we're wondering, there actually little helmets to protect his expanding brain growing out of his ears.
LOL. No shit.
this cd is in my car 6 disc cd changer, along with paradise lost, dream theater, fates warning and queensryche.
His drumming reminds me of Brian May's guitar style from Queen: precise, insanely clean and high level virtuosity. Great drummer. Makes it look easy. Glad he didn't get sucked into the DT universe, as DT has lost their way.
Last sentence the understatement of the decade
Coming back to this after 12 years. Still top notch drumming. A spot on demonstration of what is like to compose drum parts that compliment a song while being creative at the same time. You'll never hear these drum parts in another song, so unique and creative.
I love how he turns the page of music at 6:23.....just amazing. I must have watched this video hundreds of times. Love it!
Mozart FX totally amazing musician.
I wish all good for Bobby and his brother, so underrated :(
this is absolutely SICK, the vocals are so ANNOYING!!
Bobby just stopped by the planet to let us all know what is up in the other neighborhoods......Dude is just so otherworldly proficient with his phrasing and independence and......and .....and.....and......Total dedication to his craft, and his output goes way over most people's heads.
This is it folks. The final stage of human evolution
This album was the best of 2011. In fact i have not liked anything better since then. More Arch Matheos!!
+Pedro Ordonez I agree! Really moved me like nothing I heard for years!!
How do you like the new one?
@@kitomir9962 the new album is great. Not as varied as their first album, but still badass
How this guy isn't mentioned constantly with the modern greats of metal is beyond me. He does it all so well and so classy without going too far and turning every song into the Jarzombek show.
one of the best metal drummers!
I am seriously amazed that he plays open handed, but his right hand (snare hand,) has all the dexterity that his left hand does. Seriously amazing drummer.
i dont care what anybody says Bobby's fucken AWESOME!!! KEEP METAL ALIVE!!!!
I can watch him all day. Smooth powerful and awesome!!! My fav drummer by far.
Amazing ❤️!!!
Bobby,awesome playing!Keep these videos coming!
Love this guy's dynamics. Very impressive

...Bobbys an example of applying yourself, hard work, and stayin off hard drugs...all of which i fall short on....killer songs!...
Super clean player, So accurate in his execution of licks, and very musical. Could play with anyone in the world. Love your playing. Awesome!
I'm so glad Jim Matheos works with him. Great chemistry
A Spectacular record and Incredible performance on the kit!!
You play the heck out of the music and the instrument. It feels great.
Great drumming bobby. I was blown away.
I love Bobby's performance on this record. It's the perfect blend of groove and technicality. I'm also glad to see that all the really cool drum parts from these two songs made it into the video!
Amazing performance. One of my favorite drummers EVER!
After some more listening of the album, all I can say is thank you for such an inspired album.Mr Jarzombek you are Godlike on these drums.
'On The Fence' Kick ass song!
Freakin incredible. So precise. Clean. Powerful. Love his style. 🥁🤘
Absolutely phenomenal galactic drumming
He is definitely from another planet!!!!! Beyond, beyond!!!! Excellent!
Bobby is not human. He is a machine.
Wow!!! What a stunning player and creative part writer!!
Yes on all points - and might I add, that Jarzombek's part are divinely arranged !! And gives this sound - LIFE.

Yep... perfection... and effortless.

Great drummer. We need one like
Bad ass Bobby ..cant wait till Arch Matheos winter ethereal comes out ..awesome my friend...
Awesome!!!!!
What a great and precise drummer this dude is. Totally blows my mind, and yet this dude. He plays with intensity, technique and feeling, not to mention his creativity is insane! One of my fav progressive metal drummers. Halford is a lucky guy
Amazing work on this album. Seriously, best stuff I've heard from the FW crew in nearly 25 years. Rejuvenated and evidently, losing Zonder (also a brilliant drummer) was an unfounded fear.
Awesome!
One of the best drummers ever.
Hey,man....you're THE máster drummer....these strokes, omg. Powerfull drumming! Simply awesome!
Simply one of the best drummers on Earth...
This dude is not human !!!!
Absolutely one of the very best prog metal albums in a very long time, if not the best.
Kool, there is still hope for modern music !
Amazing drum job as always..and the record sounds like a Masterpice to my ears..lets see....
he is one hell of a singer
omg sooo good
AMAZING skills with a really unorthodox technique. Love the turn of the page mid take at 6.27 hahaha!!! Cool songs too, must buy!
holy effing...whaaaa?!?! This is AMAZING!!
Bobby you are a monster!
YEAH! These clips are showing this new album to be everything I was hoping it to be. Classic "Fates Warning" sound but not a simple rehash of old ideas. John sound incredible, wow!
Now this I like a lot!!! Great finese drumming mixed with great phrasing equalled with great technique!!! Love how Bobby leads with his left hand doing all the hi hat & ride parts. I started off like that but changed over, works wonders on the weaker hand of you technique. Fantastic playing!!
what an awesome fucking drummer....this album is one of the best ive heard in 20 years..thanks Matheos/Arch
amazing!
Every part, every section every 16th beat, spalsh, china, hi hat played in it's perfect symbiosis adding to the power and perfection and of course pleasure to hear. Audiofile and beauty dancing in zenith.
Keep us in stratosphere Bobby! Progressive forever!
those toms make me weak at the knees, frikin amazing sound.
In Bobby I trust!!!!
Awesome ~
Awesome stuff (I have this CD), awesome performance!
Bobby's been my favorite drummer since I first him on Halford. Ironically, I have had Riot Thundersteel on LP since it was released and never really listened. I'm also a big fan of Zonder's as well. Bobby does an amazing job on this CD, and what's really cool is that there are parts like at 3:06 - 3:20 where he does an amazing job of channeling the crispness of Zonder's playing. Just an overall amazing CD. Probably the best prog-metal of the year in a year filled with major releases.
Very, very impressive, your playing is great.
BTW, love those cymbals, smooth as silk aren't they.
BEAST
great!!!
so wanted to play like that, but the lessons here in Brazil and is somewhat expensive, congratulations Bobby Jarzombek. hug
I just noticed he's a lefty playing on a right-handed drum set-up. I love it when they do that!!!!
Damn. What a badass.
gran maestro
My favorite part at 3:05 !! Awesome!
TIGHT!!!
The most under the radar greatest drummers in history ( to the non musician) the only drummer that I can think of on the planet that could play more complex music is Mike Mangini, Bob is an absolute total beast
@Gary White just say no to drugs man they warp your reality
@Gary White hilarious troll bro I'm dying laughing right now good one you should consider being a comedian that was awesome 🤣👍
@Gary White hilarious man keep up the great trolls lmao
that is one focused drummer right there....
I watch these videos about 10th time each. I should say that Bobby does good, but give him another guitarists, play riffs from another planet (that we never heared before) and he probably will be able to create more amazing drum lines. It's all depending on guitarists creativity - playing, composing skills. Bobby looks like unlimited in skills, thinking, technique, creativity and so on. And, maybe, when he decided to start transition from cross-handed to open-handed he has that goal in his head - "to be unlimited".
When his brother gave him his riffs and ask: " Hey, Bobby, could you do some drums for me?" He listened and say: "Hmm, sounds weird and as from another planet, but yes I'll do my best." (he didn't say exact, I just realize how he may think, for fun)
P.S. This album is one of his best work. Beautifully fit with guitars and compositions.
Yea man, this is a real drum machine.
It would take someone FAR less skilled than Bobby to write drums for this, I think his skill exceeds this son by a lot.
When Mark Zonder left Fates Warning I didn't know what to think, but Bobby is every bit the quality drummer that Mark was. Different but just as competent. BTW this album is amazing, I've been listening to it for almost a month now. Awesome!!!
oh, man, you're so damn right
this is amazing. very similar to dream theater in some phrases. i dig :)
this robot looks like human.
OMG !
