Man’s an absolute beast. His brother Ron is also an amazing guitarist check out his instrumental tech death band Blotted Science, or their band together Spastic Ink. Brilliant dudes.
His brother also founded the band watchtower and it happened to be that I saw them live some 30 years ago in Germany! Ron was brilliant even then, and younger….
If Watchtower has had a better Singer then everyone would say first Watchtower and second Dream Theater, DT would have been the curious little sister of them. But I think they loved the singer and so no need to change.

criminally underrated
Bobby is from my hometown of San Antonio, TX and this guy now plays with none other than country music giant George Strait! We love him here in SA

I had to stifle a laugh when I saw the over-the-shoulder cymbals. This guy is great.

A drummer suggestion for you. Clay Aeschliman of Polyphia.
They have been getting a LOT of well deserved recognition lately.
I think they are one of the few instrumental groups to break the top 100 on UA-cam music.
Their musical style is ALL over the place. Each album feels super different, and their current one features a bunch of totally different artists ranging from Chino (Deftones), rappers, Brasstracks (Trumpeter), and even Steve Vai.
Clay A. (The rhythm section are BOTH named Clay. It's wild.) has a pretty unique style. He is fantastic at "space", and frequently drops out or come in mid-phrase. It has a very "electronic" inspired sound, which makes sense considering the band composes in pro-tools first, then figures out how the heck they are actually going to play it.
Their compositional style actually leads to a very interesting sound.
You can actually feel how a single "part" gets passed around between instruments like a VERY musical game of musical-chairs.
The other things about Clay A that REALLY blows me away is his experience, or lack thereof.
Tim H. (Guitar), Scott L. (Guitar), and Clay G. (Bass) all have music degrees and have been playing since they were kids. (They ARE a prog-rock band. Who's surprised?)
Clay A. on the other hand played 3 years of Drumline in high school. He got a decidedly NON-music degree (logistics) and then an office job.
But he hated the corporate life so much that he quit, bought a drum kit, and spent the next 12-18 months practicing all-day every-day.

Check out Chris Turner and his album Steezy. All the songs are up as videos here on YT, and they're one take, no edits, no samples, no time shifts. Unbelievable stuff. 40 Roll was the first single off the album if you want to start somewhere.
Indeed, Jarzombek is a Polish name pronounced /ya-zhom-bek/, but that's not unfortunately how they pronounce it in USA.
Crazy to think he plays for George Strait now.

All this talent is wasted playing drums for George Strait. He should have stayed with Sebastian Bach's band.
He still plays in plenty of projects besides Straight.
