Hi, does it charge while it is connected to the switch or a charging dock? Or i need to really charge them individually because I noticed that each joycon has a type-c charging port but only one charging cable. How does that work?

I didn't notice a deadzone while using it brand new, not sure how long it would last. The Joysticks are better than the Nintendo Joy-Cons though. They are similar to Pro Controller.

It has them, but they aren't that bad.
But make sure to calibrate them before most uses. (For bink boks you rotate both sticks 360 degrees twice directly after the controller connects to the switch ) Also update the firmware .
