Hey another banger video man. I am so glad you're keeping the mic handheld, REALLY makes you stand out!!
It's late here and I'm sleepy. But I wanted to take a moment to tell you that is one sexy microphone. Seriously. I was enjoying the other, but this one makes me happy. Don't ever change it. It's perfect.
Right!? So crisp and retro mmmmmmmmmMMMMmmmm
Cant wait to try em!
Awsome video man!
Can you wake the switch up when it's docked? I have a pro controller that i usually use for dock mode, and i carry my switch with a lot other stuff in my EDC bag and the binbok are wayyyy to big to fit there. But still those turbo button are interesting
Love the new mic
I heard this controller is always charging to 100% while in portable mode making the switch loose battery faster as it is always charging. Is this true? I kinda want this over the switch grips. If it's true it's a deal breaker for me. I would prioritize longer use over comfort any day.
Do they work well with motion games like just dance, arms,...?
Got myself a pair of these and am loving them. The rumble and gyro are great inclusions and I find them much more ergonomic than the Hori Splitpad Pro I was using. They make a great spare almost-pro controller too so I can play local multiplayer (with my kid using my actual-pro controller) without struggling with a joy con.
do they charge while attached or do you have to charge each joycon separately with a cable?
@@thedancingpipestuffer sorry not sure, I actually stopped using them and went back to the Hori. The joysticks were really stiff and trying to aim something, even like a pokeball throw in Arceus, was so awkward compared to the Split pad Pro.
How do I pair the backbuttons, i cant find it anywhere
When the controllers are connected to the switch do the controllers hold charge?
Great video man! Those do look great. I tend to play my switch docked about 60% of the time. I really prefer the Switch Pro controller or using my Xbox Series controller using an adapter. I can get really annoyed when using the joycons on the go. The buttons just seem closer together and it's not very ergonomic and I tend to have a harder time doing anything precision with them, and also due to my large hands and the weight of the switch itself it can be bit rough gaming for extended periods.
I had bought a controller with turbo buttons specifically to use with Diablo 3. Some of my buds played on switch and others on pc. D3 is an insane grind fest that ate at my soul... So every new "season" I always played a specific class on Switch (Crusader) because it had a build that was popular on PC that you could NUM Lock all of its abilities so it would spam them all as soon as they came off of cooldown. With turbo you can do the same thing (at least on some controllers) and bind more than 1 button to the turbo at the same time. Was super easy to farm without paying attention because all I had to do was hit the turbo button once in a Rift and then just walk with the joystick and anything within 30 yards would just die.
An extreme niche yes, but it was well worth the $30 to me to save my hands in the long run.
Yes! That mic is sick!
Can you play motion controlled games with them, such as Switch Sports?
Hey you should do a video on the Mobapad m6. There just like the Hori Split Pad pros but have Mechanical Buttons, Rumble and Gyro aiming for $48. But there only sold on aliexpress at the moment, and cannot be used wirelessly. Does make me wonder though if the wired adapter for the split pad would work for these to. Anyway love your videos hope to see more of them.
Does anyone know if they’ll charge while connected to the switch
i just got mine in the mail today, i’m stoked to try them out
how was it
@@jonathan-ui9qp they were cool until they broke a month later
@@Marl0nP how?
how do you feel about them a year later? I'm worried about buying this because there're almost no reviews and the amazon page only has like 300 purchases on it. Really hard to get recent info on them and I've heard some of them ship with factory defects.
Wasn't expecting that at the end😂Not a bad voice
Nyxi or Binbok ? What do you think?
Are you going to reveiew the slim version? Would love a comparison to the hori compact
I get some input lag when playing wirelessly. Idk if they have updates but I can’t find anything about it online elsewhere
I heard the slides are shacky when in handheld mode ?
7:50 🤣🤣🤣 that self realization was deep 🤣🤣🤣
Why is it so hard to find stuff like this in white
Can't wait for a solo album. 🎙
The plus and minus buttons use metal dome switches. While abxy buttons use rubber membrane with carbon pads to bridge contacts. Totally different techs. Dunno why the rubber membranes are considered a better choice for ABXY and dpad, but overwhelmingly they are.
I have a Hori Fighting Commander Octa and the mechanical buttons feel really good. I wish more manufacturers would use them, but maybe they're much more expensive to implement on a large scale idk
I’m planning on buying these for the Switch OLED that I’m also planning to buy.
Does it have a nfc reader
Not him ducking when he said "maybe go outside" 🤣
Having the rear mappable buttons is a game changer playing Zelda. Normal you have to press X to run, and you can't control the camera at the same time. Mapping X to the rear let's me run AND control the camera, and it's honestly a God send!
i wonder if these would fit into those cases meant for the hori split pad pro. they're similar dimensions
all i want to know is if they're charging while attached or if you have to charge them separately with a cable.
I've watched a few reviews with mixed information on that part, if any at all.
They charge while attached
Cool! Gonna buy one for my Oled.
Do these get drift?
I need this in my life
have drift after some months of use?
Ah new mic. Tbh I miss the old one. Tho, the new one chill, in a certain angle it looks like you're talking into a hair trimmer. Which the idea of it amuses me xD lol
I personally hate hitting X to run in TOFK....so a back button for running would be great! Would be nice to run and adjust camera view easily at the same time.
Additional button is not gimmick, as for shooter or monster hunter, with that one you get some “almost loud and keyboard” feature. Yo move chat and move camera with 2 sticks and you hit let’s say with trigger and other two hit buttons are X and A, you need to move one at least to that under button so you can do change of camera move wile moving and at the same time hitting 😇
Does anyone know if you can play mario party with binbok?
Also if nyxi Hyperion are better?
Can you review the binbok slim joypad controller. They're basically a smaller binbok controller.
Still use these but i still prefer my nexigo ergonomic handheld controller but i still like using these as well. Though the left joycon on mine doesnt seem as secure as teh right joycon. Not sure if you or anyone else had this problem. But still solid controller.
If you turn rumble off I wonder if that extends some of the battery life.
So they won't charge thru the switch like normal joycons?
They do… I think. Now I can’t remember
Borderlands infinite ammo guns with turbo, “am I a joke to you?”
Binboks are really good, what I don’t like about them is they kinda look cheaper than they feel. I also think they are a tad too big, I personally am mostly using a European equivalent of what in the US is available as Nexilux NXL-95245 joy cons.
What’s the difference
@@MaddixCuhming nexilux is 4cm wide, binbok is 6cm (1.6 vs 2.4 inch), so the former are more like joycons with grip and better sticks, binboks put together are larger than an Xbox controller
Are you using the ones where it's a bit smaller? If yes, then I'd have to tell you that BimBok also has a mini equivalent from their own brand.
The binbok slim
Another well explained video of this Nintendo product I would get these if they were in the white colour but they do suit better than the original joycons Good job bro wonderful and very informative video👍✌️🤗
There actually is a white version now, but it's limited edition, so it will probably sell out soon. I just ordered a pair from amazon myself
there's also nyxi joypads wich seem like the exact thing as these. wich brand would yall say is better?
They probably come off the same line in the factory so I’d get the cheapest ones you find.
But hey I just got a pair of NYxI’s for review so I guess we’ll find out.
I need a switch lol! I always wanted one.
Yo, nice pipes, bro. I love how everyone is like “upgrade your mic”. And while electronically it might be better, it’s still a handheld that’s 60s vintage lol. these won’t fit into my switch case, so it’s a no for me.
Hey they do make a case that will fit the switch with these controllers attached . It’s for the hori split pad pro joy cons but it will work for these too!
@@yeezkneezz6861 True! they're 50% off right now so hurry up and go gettem!
Just ordered these myself, the echtpower i got myself 5 months ago starting to act up, though least they lasted longer than first pair i got. Im going to try these babies see how they do. I heard mix review about the binbok but im going to try it. I always try give companies benefit of doubt. I have ovio i love and has lasted much longer and better than the amount of joycons i been through. IM hoping the binboks ones i got last longer than previous joycon alternatives i went through
How did it go?
Did u return them?
It also has Gyroscope and works well.
I personally don't do it, but many players use turbo on Metroid Dread. I don't blame them for the end of the game. I'm old school and really enjoyed Dread though. But yea, that would be the game for turbo
2:15 E R and E L? You mean 3 L and 3 R? I'm just hazarding a guess there. they probably forgot that R3 and L3 are the button push of the joysticks, but oh well...
Anyone got a binbok coupon code?
That controller looks interesting. Will buy it in the future
Yup, glad they went with some fun pastal colors too, instead just 'all black'. Video games are toys, they're entertainment, they're supposed to be fun. Give me some color damnit lol But whatever, to each their own. I'm rocking the watermelon/neon Pink & Green joy-con combo at the momento' looks amazeballs
@@NeonPizza80s I agree that video games are toys and love the vivid colors 🌈✨
Turbo is like the best for shumps and Metroid Dread. Rear macros are great for L3 R3 replacement. The only thing I dislike about the Binbok is the DPAD. DPAD sucks. I wish Hori just make a full featured split pad pro.
DREAD. I even have that game how did I not think of that…
I swear, a BinBok joy-con with a good d-pad and triggers would be perfect! That is the ONLY thing it needs!
I loved my binbok joycons as for awhile they were my go to for handheld mode till the controller docks caught my interest. Got rid of them and kind of regrated it as the joycons would come in handy for certain games that had motion controls
Bro I literally just got these in the mail today and they feel amazing. I can actually play Smash and not feel hindered and that’s coming from someone who plays a lot of fighting games.
I just had to map it more like a GameCube controller then it was good.

@@bland9876 you can custom map the buttons? How so?
@@GamingBros654 in smash bros go to there is a button somewhere on the menu in a lot of places just look around if you see a controller shape the click on that.
Questions, I think it might be beneficial to answer next time:
- Do they wake the switch up when it's in a dock and the controllers are connected with that white thing?
- Do they only charge from USB-C or can the Switch also charge them?
- Do they have side buttons on the rails for the party mode in case you need them, or not?
- Personally don't care, but others might: how are the haptics and amiibo compatibility?
Good ideas/ feedback. I’ll keep this in mind. I plan to do many more controller reviews
@@TechSpaceCowboy Always enjoy your videos, so thanks for the entertaining content. As far as information about these controllers, which I now own, Bacon is right, as those were the questions I had before I bought them.
Here's the answers for anyone else that might be curious:
1. Yes, they can wake the Switch when separate from the console and mounted on the center plate. However, you need to hit both the home and screen shot buttons on both controllers rather than just the home button.
2. The Switch can charge them while connected to the console.
3. They do have side buttons for use as individual units.
4. They are not amiibo compatible, but they do have rumble and gyro. (Official licensed products like Hori do not have rumble or gyro.)
How is the dpad? Can one actually play some fighting games with decent control?? You know, just for the fighting gamers that don't want or don't have an arcade stick.
@@mongkeefee5576 Thank you very much!!
1. Yes
2. Switch charges them as well
3. Yes
4. Haptics are decent. And no amiibo support. (DOESNT HAVE NFC)
The none wireless are great but I plan on getting binbok wireless here real soon and a case too
Are these still in production? Can’t find any for sale branded Binbok
Ignore the branding. They’re all the same
Do these connect automatically when you slide them in to the screen?
Yep!
@@TechSpaceCowboy Thanks for the quick reply. I am on my 3rd set of Joy-Cons now for my son's switch I don't think I will be buying official again
I swear every controller only adds turbo for smash lol.
Do they charge when they are attach on switch like nyxi joy cons?
Yeah they’re the same exact hardware
@@TechSpaceCowboy how much does this reduce the console battery time by?
I’d get these, but I already have a Satisfye grip, and even though it’s not as good, I’ve gotten attached the the carrying case included.
Wish there was more grip for the pinky
Just wondering if anybody else had this problem did anybody else's L or R button come off because I've been watching all these great reviews but I don't see anything with this problem Great controllers though
The only bad thing about these, is it will not fit in my Satisfye grip. Awesome video.
Don't think you'd need them on since the point of the satisfye grip is to make it more comfortable on the right side and would probably make the right stick more harder to use if it were to fit 🤔
Do these controllers drift ?
No
Does anyone have any mortal kombat 11 experience with these ?
I peeped the new mic🎙
Omg my mic is an emoji loool
Scrolled too fast, thought you were Kevin Kenson. Clicked. Proceeded to watch video anyways 🤷🏻♂️😏👍🏼
I use on steam deck and switch and lov them
What ruined the experience for me was the analog stick’s nature to lock into cardinal positions. Not only was it visually evident when checking the calibration, I felt it during games like Rocket League. This issue was with the “updated version” in both sizes. I wound up returning them and sticking with my Joy Cons and Satisfye grip.
Any more info on this? I have rarely heard anything about poor analog sensitivity with these BinBoks/NYXI controllers, but I have experienced iPega analog controllers which exhibited a very steep sensitivity curve that I could not perform precise low-to-midrange analog inputs on it and had a really poor deadzone. Was your experience with these controllers similar to what I described about the iPega?
@@wizzrod The deadzone was a little more than the Joy Cons but really what got me was the sticks locking to cardinal positions. So for instance if I wanted to have the stick up and slightly to the left or right, it would just register up. Same went for down, left and right (all 4 cardinal positions). Hope I’m explaining that well. I couldn’t even get past this issue to know whether or not the deadzone was an issue.
Connectivity issues may arise too. The grips don't fully lock into place and can slide up while you're holding them. You may start to get messages on the screen to connect your joycons and during a game, that really sucks. Sometimes you can click them on off and solve they issue and sometimes it won't recognize the Binbok joycons at all. Even if you try to take them off, put them on, rinse and repeat = no success.
If they fix that, they're perfect.
@@ilikemyrealname it a easy fix
@@sauljimenez5224which is what?
Do they make a good case for these
Just did a video on one option
Do you like it better than the hori split pad pro?
Haven’t tried that yet, will add it to my list
@@TechSpaceCowboy awesome dude! I've had it since I came out, it's reliable, and has good buttons. The turbo is good for retro games, and even Metroid Dread lol. It also works well when I play overwatch, or doom. I'm a trucker, so I mostly play handheld.
@@TechSpaceCowboy sidenote, I feel like your channel is going to blow up. Your videos are very good.
Wait is the rapid firing does it do it like auto click and click on its own
When you hold down a button, it’s as if you were rapid pressing that button
@@TechSpaceCowboy oh ok, i thought it was an auto clicker. I need an auto clicker for pokemon scarlet cuz the school tournament is an easy way to farm money for ev training items
trust me, the back buttons are so good for minecraft, ik not every plays on switch, but for minecraft switch users, trust me
Has anyone ever had any drift problems with it? thats my only concern since I’ve struggled with it for so long ✋💀
I mean considering I went through 2 drifts (separate) on my joycons one 3 months and another after a year…I’d give this thing a chance…also I have 2 3rd party controllers with gyro and aim off Amazon and still work great 2 years later.
I deadass thought you were Kevin kenson 🤣💀
Maybe I am…
Just new mic goofin’
Someone get my dude a fedora to go with that microphone!
Jokes aside prob gonna just wait for the steamdeck and sell my switch. Hardware is feeling pretty dated by now and most titles run horribly on it. Not a huge fan. Those bingbongs woulda be cool at the beginning of quarantine tho.
I'll get the white ones
2:31 broooo how dare you? Literally today I was thinking that, if I had designed the Nintendo switch, I would've added stock paddles.
I play mostly on pc and I use a razer wolverine ultimate when not using kbam. Before that, I used a powerA fusion pro. On both, I found myself using the bottom left paddle for the a button on basically all games. I even used it to select things on menus when I still played in Xbox lol. I don't like taking my thumb off the thumbstick.
Long story short, I don't think that is a gimmick! lol
Just ordered this and R1 n L1 triggers fell off immediately…. Hadda send em bsck lol
Upvoting for visibility
@@TechSpaceCowboy ty lol
I just ordered Nyxi controllers that are similar in white for my OLED. I just don't get as to why Nintendo haven't made any like this. Hori unfortunately aren't as good as these. I've watched so many reviews and hori just doesn't cut it
Yeah I did an NYXI video too if you wanna check that out
@@TechSpaceCowboy yea I saw that. It was probably the first review on nyxi I watched. Binbok and nyxi are basically the same just different brand names. Binbok has more variety whereas nyxi just have 3 of the same controller in different colours. Then they also have a version of the pro controller which I don't think binbok have. It gets confusing. I'm only going by what a lot of people have told me to get and what a friend at work got. I just think nyxi is actually more popular than binbok ATM.. good review though 👌
They came in the dead of night and put your hands all over their bingbong. 😏
Yeeeah they did
Animal crossing actually has a very specific part of the game that I think every animal crossing player will agree is annoying, when you are crafting fish bait you craft a lot at once but have to do it one by one so the turbo feature will be supper useful for that
Edit: sorry if written bad
That's true. And I always drift when trying to dig so thus will help.
They have had these type of controllers out for months, the hori split pad pro is the best one.
why? you cant use the hori pad of the console
No gyro or rumble though, thats a dealbreaker for me
I went with the Hori Splitpad Pro because the buttons feel cheap on the Binbok. Especially the dpad is terrible. Also couldn't care less about leds on the joysticks, cause why...when they'll just take more battery. On the other hand there is the rumble/gyro so if thats important to you these are the best.
Yeah but you don’t have to use the led lol
Me at night while UA-cam runs😴...... "Ok so" ... 😮 ☕😌
Oh, queso…
@@TechSpaceCowboy so you say oh cheese 🧀 kinda sus. You a cheese maker ? You cheese in games , cheese is a triangle .. Illuminati ??!?!?!!
I thought you said bimbo😳 I was like what did you say to me.😤

Mega Man is the perfect game for rapid fire. Which one? Any one.
Does anyone know how the joy sticks feel while playing a first person shooter?
They’re decent. Not a fan of shooters on the switch though
@@TechSpaceCowboy okay that's what I'm looking for in the controllers for first person shooter tried some with the regular joycons and the joy sticks are sensitive like the ps Vita joy sticks
Whatever you do, DO NOT get the Transparent / Clear version 😒. It feels cheaper, doesnt come with the grip grooves in handle, the clear texture is just overall retro and doesn't feel like good quality. But if you're into retro cheap shit 😆 Than go for it! jUst My Review on that
