13:30 you can mount the steering fork to the body with 2 bearings to center the tire on an even width build :)
This is exactly what I wanted to comment right now.
He could also just use small wheels. They are 1 block wide.
The editor is such a nice guy, they even put warning for photosensitive people

How about a workshop Olympics episode where you each find a single vehicle for a one of however many events. The variant is that all of you use the vehicle chosen for that event. Everyone using the same vehicle makes it more about skill and adapting to new vehicles in each round.

Lately the editing has been really good, hope they're being paid well!
The gyro mug is pretty accurate, you know there's this thing being sold - a platform for a cup that leans heavily as you go and even rocks, but this motion is exactly why the liquid doesn't spill out.
It would work if not for suspension glitches in SM.
The gyro mug is really neat too, but suspension glitches ruin a lot in SM i've found
Unless it goes upside down for a bit too long and the cup and the liquid falls out…
@@minheepark4896 I actually saw them spinning the cup upside down and it didn't spill, of course if you stop upside down then it will spill.
I really liked the suspension lounching mechanism. I think if you a would add more layers to it, it would flex more and shoot further!
you can center the steering over two blocks by putting two bearings next to each other with steering and blocks on each welded to each other

there was a self balancing two-wheeled car called Gyro-X in 1967, maybe you've seen it? it had a retractable "landing gear" kinda like a plane, thing's whack

Multiplayer monday idea, glowbug hoover "race". Who can remove the most cardboard in set time, who can remove cardboard in the tightest of spaces and maybe who can hoover upside down. Could be a fun video to watch and to record

gyromug problem was partially because the circle wasnt welded together so it was more than likely fighting all the suspension
7:10 yea in a trailmakers video you have made a crossbow with I believe a similar concept
The suspension bow thing will work "better" if you built it the other way around and pulled on the suspensions to extend them, and then release to let them go back.
That's a glitch, yeah...

the truck and slingshot bow were great. By the way any word yet on Chapter 2?
GG. The truck has too much thrust. When a sensor turns on the thrusters, they push too hard and lean it over the other way. The thrust needs to be lessen to push it upright but not over to the other side.
You'd need the thruster to increase in power the more you tilt. It's literally impossible with the setup in the drawing.
@@Doomblud What is happening is called forced damped simple harmonic motion. To stop it oscillating, increase the dampening or decrease the power.
@ShawnHCorey that's some nice fancy words, but the thrust isn't fighting against a constant force. Gravity is always pulling straight down. The car's angle is constantly changing. The amount of thrust that is directly opposing gravity changes during its trajectory. It's not constant.
Near the top, very little gravity is actually tipping the car. But most of your thrust is pushing against that small fraction of gravity affecting the car. You'd want very little thrust here to overcome it.
Near the bottom, almost all of gravity is tipping the car. So your thruster needs to have a lot more force to overcome it.
All this to say, this setup doesn't work and will never work with a constant amount of thrust.
