i really love how kan spent the entire game searching for the button of the truck until he found it on the dashboard like it is the definition of "HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT"
I was yelling at my screen for Scrapman to try the switch on the dash back when he was seeking... then had nearly given up hope as he neared the end of the hiding phase of trying to get in
yeah I was amazed that both him and scrapman didn't think to hit the switch that was directly in front of their face and one of the first things they see while looking
@@mherrmann81687 I have noticed those in second he opened the truck cabin and really wondered how he could missed it for 15min :D
@@wolffang-vz2ty They probably assumed that it was one the switches attached to the seat cuz thats how it is most of the time.
In their mind they already tried that switch multiple times. So no point in trying a switch you already 'know' doesn't do it.
@@mtndew314Yeah, since it was on during kAN’s roun he probably tought it was connected to the drivers seat and did the lights or what not. If Scrap would have turned it off like they usually do he might have been found quicker even
Can you all make 1/4 of a hide and seek map then attach them all together. The only catch is you can't hide in your section

I vastly underestimated how hard it would be to find the truck spot, when Scrapman opened the door that lower switch was the first thing I noticed.
same. you pop the hood open from the dashboard, it seemed so obvious.
@DarthZ01 Unfortunately, as I and many others have already said before, Scrapman acts like a squirrel on redbull. He doesn't stops for a second to analyze the surroundings, thus missing incredible spots with a frequency that shouldn't be as common as it is.
Gotta love Kosmo peeking out at 26:00 and shooting at Kan right in the open.

Last Monday they didn't and I admit I was tempted to buy scrap mechanic just to make a map, in case that is why they didn't do hide and seek. Almost glad my computer is not compatible so I have an excuse for now.

Other than just ignoring all the buttons inside the truck when looking for the truck spot, which just baffled me.
Man I really hoped that scrapman would show Kan the switch inside the hood and make him try to push it from the outside. would've hilarious to see :D

mpm hide and seek is one of my favorite things to watch in class!
I love how ScrapMan spends the entire two minutes trying to figure out how to get to the switch in the grill, figures it out last second, realizes it’s a “bad spot,” and then kAN immediately finds him, and then can’t open the switch for the rest of the round.

Hide and Seek is my favorite thing to watch every week. I especially enjoy the visible ones like the truck, where you can see them but cannot find the switch. One of these days I will find the time to finish the hide and seek map I was working on, and maybe I'll even see you guys play it.
Scrap man should do a workshop Olympics but on Trailmakers. You can do high jump, swimming, racing, etc.
Kan suffering in a video game, is truly the best thing to be enjoyed.

Still truthfully think it should be added up hiding times that determine the winner instead of seeking times. Would promote looking for better spots. And would still promote seekers to be faster to give competition lower times.
Cause going by seeker times. It allows majority of people have crap spots but still win cause one person had a great spot.

Hide and seek on my B-Day this is awesome
I'm tempted to make a map where the switches are all on breakable objects, and set it up so that if the object a switch is on is broken then the spot auto-opens after 10 minutes. this would discourage breaking objects to find people, and since my maps are designed so the timer only starts AFTER the seeker is set free, with an in world timer that hiders can see, the objects would be unbreakable during the hiding time.

technichally, kAN never tagged scrapman, meaning the round never actually ended
I think the fact you left the switch on green when you hid in the truck made it harder for Kan

You should've had a Go-kart race first round and loser seeks then the next round you race between the hiders(seeker won't be racing just watching)
7:38 Moonbo give a an idea to check the food cart so I believe scrap man should get an automatic win because the seeker didn’t check the food cart till he said it out loud
my first thought when scrapman was looking for the spot in the truck grill was 'pop the hood from in the cab' and it was exactly that.
Idea for Trailmakers:
Cross-country go-kart racing on any map of your choosing. Rules are you can only use 4 power cores and either go-kart or racing slick wheels. 50 block maximum.
You can race on any map of your choosing. Your route must consist of paved and non-paved surfaces and could even feature a hill-climb section.
I uploaded a sample kart to the workshop and titled it "Cross-country challenge go-kart."
you could even add more rules to keep it interesting, like all races must be done through 1st-person camera
You should do a video on marking a bowling ball that has a moving weight in the center that moves away from the center of mass to make the bowling ball move in trailmakers or other physical games
Whatever you do, don't eat the big blue mint in the restroom!
Idea for hide and seek: you can only talk about the things around your character
