After watching several of your video;s , i am taking my Grand Daughter to a hidden creek i know on family farm and seeing if we can find gold with our new Goldclaw pan and home made sluice, Thanks for giving my family something to do together mate.
Looks like a lot more work than the first sandbar for not as much reward, but like you said, thats what working a sand bar is all about. Looking forward to part 3!
Another great video...love the way you and Pauly are working together, funny stuff!....thanks for bringing home the trash you find and disposing of it properly!
Awesome spots on that creek/river! If that was in Washinton US I'd spend all day and night digging it. Awesome videos Chris! PS. Love to help out with your fund raiser but the rescue wife 😮 is in stage 5 kidney failure for the sevond time in 10 years. But you have our moral support. So come on! Lets GO!!! I want that gold!
Old! I have spots on me older than you! Great video, you know it was good when it's over and I'm sitting here going why did he make a 3 minute video. Love the part with Paul.
Given me a whole new prospective on what to look for . Thanks Chris ! Im starting to come up with a bit of a plan on how to get rid of those bigger rocks , hopefully might be able to show you from the up-coming camp .
Hey Chris, another great vid, you might want to build an underwater viewer to check out the crevices at the bottom of your holes. There will be gold jammed in the crevices that the pump can’t get out. Good bits too. Let the water clear get a pick tool. Like Tass’s and make a big sucker bottle. Check out vids on underwater sniping. Gary has done a couple of good ones.
Lifting a finger ,is about all i can lift these day,s. Warning don,t get old, Get out there and use it , before you lose it.I,am so jelous . Your a top bloke, i love your vid,s . cant wait for the next one.
Love your dog always busy great companion to have, when I go prospecting I have to go myself, yes where I prospect there's always trash,I'm always picking it up when I leave I don't want to hit on fishermen but there are a lot Of them to learn from us prospectors like pioneer Pauly, adventure gold, Robert fergerson, gas etc who care about environment another great video
Love the gold. Great to see you take the rubbish away. You could put the battery in for recycling. You look to gave a number of sand bars in that area. I noticed one larger sandbar over your right shoulder at approximately the 8:35
Excellent vid Chris and an absolutely beautiful river spot you are working. After you spend a few more days working the sand bars there it might be wise to clean all the crevice there also. I was gonna hit my spot today but the old back wasn't up to it ... so thanks for the yella fix. Keep up the good work mate.
Vo-Gus Prospecting that I wouldn't doubt, much like me on my little crk - I find a "riffle" across the flow and clear it out from bank to bank then hit all the crevices in the area.
Thank you for your videos. My son and I have just started looking for gold in the creeks and detecting but no luck yet. With your information on what to look for in a creek i think we will have much better luck next time. Thank you Gary Collins
Another great video Chris! I was laughing after you had PioneerPauly in the back seat on the phone!!!! I just started watching his channel a few days ago and he has become another favorite of mine! I see that he had your smiling face in one of his last videos also, it is awesome to see like minded folks working together on UA-cam. Finally warming up here in WI USA and that means it is getting closer to my first pans of the year. What I do is sweep up the sand and gravel off the street in front of my house that has been put down after snow has been packed down from cars to aid in traction. I am not sure how much sand is put out but it is many, many tons! Thanks again for your vids and great personality!
Vo-Gus Prospecting lucky dog you. Or maybe grizz is the lucky dog lol. I'm in central Oregon and just drove through 4 inches of snow to get a tenth of a gram! I would work those crevices like crazy.
Been doing a lot of thinking about moving to Colorado, and while that's all really fine gold, you've got me really thinking about taking up prospecting as a hobby if I do. For the same reasons, just getting out, tromping around and enjoying it. Odd where we find inspiration!
Your lucky to have such a cute helper.I've got two kitties that try to help with my mining opperations. Do my prospecting in the historic mining area of southern Oregon.
That spot is awesome, peaceful and relaxing. Wish I was there with you! Daffodils are blooming and birds are talking all kinds of trash. Really looking forward to low water and higher temps here.
Good score! If you add an eye bolt to the side of your sluice, you can tie a rope to it and anchor it to a tree. I had to do that in the Arkansas River in Colorado. Mine kept trying to float away. To move a large rock, I might suggest making a net out of heavy rope- 1/2" or bigger diameter. Then use what we call a "Come Along" , a hand ratcheting cable pull to drag the rock out of the way. Typically, I hook the cable pull to a tree or a large rock and drag it away. Get a good quality one too, not one of the cheap asian made ones that fail quite easily. I would suggest at least a 3/4 - 1 ton pull weight rating. Overkill on the cable pulls is good. (Not to mention you can get your car unstuck with it or move a fallen tree out of the way too.) I am looking forward to the next video.
Let’s continue mark in your video. If you are wanting to work the dirt with out drowning your feet. This might be a good spot. I hope you get way more that 500 likes. I cannot wait till March. I will be supporting you.
Some of us Cajun love turtles 😊 We use to catch a few baby turtles after they hatched by our canal near the back yard when we were kids ❤ and we had two pet raccoons named Danny and Lucille . Our neighbors down the road had a pet Gator ❤😊 those were the days!
I made a hand dredge out of a vintage bicycle pump and a piece of pvc pipe on the end and glued a wide plastic bottle neck to screw a nozzle on.that might help someone build a 1 easily and cheap!
Now you got Me Thinking!! LOL :) Good Golly Miss Molly, Even looking at the other answer's are not helping Me.....Somebody Got Some Explaining To Do...I need that hole of Gold to ponder on this......
😍👍👍👍... Oh nice Chris good little spot there.. liked the video and shared on Facebook so hopefully gets you upto the tally of likes.. fingers crossed and toes for some gold from a skilled fella like yourself..🙏🙏... so wish I was as lucky as you... every time I plan to head out something always comes up and don't get there.. anyway keep up the good work buddy... life is a gold field dig it ⛏⛏⛏⛏
Didn't see an explanation ? eg: rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F152543340968 Or rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F162506425001
Geez Chris, you are on some nice gold, that bedrock is awesome. I have been working some similar ground although I suspect the ground I am on has seen many more of us in recent times, feels like some of the bedrock here has been cleaned with a Dyson. I turned 43 yesterday mate and I tell you after 11 hours on the shovel and yabbie pump, then a 4km walk back from the creek, holy crap I felt old. Not much water up here either so spent the whole day panning in a small pool of water that became very muddy very fast. Wouldnt give it up for anything though mate, I might even go out again tomorrow if the bones hold up!
Aussie Chris spots like this a rare and few and far between! That's a long day digging mate, your reaching retirement age too so you should slow down a bit and let us young fellas have at it 😉
Great job! Is there a crevice at the bottom (sniping vid)? When griz was loving you up all I could think Is I hope you established dominance.......great job giving back to make the world better

Two Toes keep the great videos coming mate
Given me a whole new prospective on what to look for . Thanks Chris ! Im starting to come up with a bit of a plan on how to get rid of those bigger rocks , hopefully might be able to show you from the up-coming camp .
The main thing is that you identify a low pressure system. then if its sandy you have to be able to hit bedrock.
Hey Chris, another great vid, you might want to build an underwater viewer to check out the crevices at the bottom of your holes. Love it ! Looks like a perfect spot to keep going back too . Great place for learning
Dave Taylor I'm working on the crevices too, slowly.
Vo-Gus Prospecting that I wouldn't doubt, much like me on my little crk - I find a "riffle" across the flow and clear it out from bank to bank then hit all the crevices in the area.
Another great video chris, thanks for the fantastic work you do with mental health awareness, well done
Thank you. I filmed the March video today. One of the hardest things I've ever done.

The answer to the riddle is . The letter " N " . As you take away "n" from window you get widow and if you put "n" in door you get donor.

Is the answer N? Love this vid mate - love your energy and enthusiasm!
Michael F maybe

First, again! Pity you can't come down to Tassie next week but completely understandable.
