Good Going Chris! I've just started watching your videos and have noticed the struggle you have with the the black sand separation process. I'll Agee its easy to accumulate the gold in the black sand. I'd like to make a point about how we always arrive at two basic elements in the pan. At this point do you separate the sand from the gold or do you separate the gold from the sand ? I'm sure you know the specific gravity of each. Something I've learned over the years is that when you get to the two in your pan it's time to steer the gold, not the sand. Gold will walk up a very steep hill compared to sand. I would like to show you a paning method that makes the fear of black sand a fun challenge. Cheers!

Great video, excellent information. I've been dabbling in gold panning recently and had little knowledge of how to actually identify a probable gold deposit location. Thanks!
I was doing a bit of research on gold prospecting before I went on a trip over the mountain pass and we briefly stopped by a stream that was completely littered with gold with some decent size flakes, I might start to get into this hobby
Nice presentation. People may not realize that YOU have to become the expert on the area you're working. What works in one location may not hold true..even for a different river or stream. It takes time. Cold greetings from Massachusetts
😅 I'm going to try panning I think theres some gold in California. I could be wrong but I'm going to check. ....... 😉 just being sarcastic . Lol thanks Chris weathers looking nice there! Theres been a bit of rain lately here. But ..... that rain helped me pull a half pennyweight nugget this weekend. So I cant complain anyways cheers and heavy Pans with zero yellow rocks!
Thanks Chris, I haven't done much in the way of sniffing out for the gold little buggers but the little I have done I was looking ahead of the pressure...I was in the in the water line just at the base or foot of the slope or beyond the crest of the turn to far after, thinking the drop off or change in pressure...and I don't know if that made sense. What you showed, the drop of heavies happens toward the apex of the rise and close to the point of the turn....Like when you pan...it starts to reveal itself at a turn in the upslope part of the pan...when the lighter materials get swirled away. I had the thinking gold drops a the point of low pressure...like right before an obstruction like the slow water right before a line of boulders or the deeper water right after a spill over a boulder...but I did not give thought to the environment...the creek itself...heavies don't get carried unless there is enough flow to move them. When is that...flooding....and drop at a last moment when there is a change in direction and pressure. Cool science. I got a lot to learn. Or I have to find a creek that was made naturally like a sluce and the sides of the creek are lined with the shiny deposits...lol What do you think of this: ua-cam.com/video/mxQgCZxr_r4/v-deo.html They make machines that filter down from 2cm to the nano bits I thought that interesting and the lazy mans way....I'm old with arthritis what can I say.

I've just got all the bits I need to make my in bucket classifier. Video coming shortly :)
Hi Stuart, got some 15 litre paint buckets if you want ideal for classifiers, have you had a chance to use the high banker yet?. Got the go ahead with alluvial lease 😊 I'll have to get it back for some sampling,I'll give you the heads up when getting closer.cheers Craig
Only had it out once and not for long. Last couple of month haven't gone to plane. Cool news about your lease though. I tried to get some sense out of ER re my shaft and got nothing useful except maybe I don't need a lease and can just rely on my miners right.
im in Dahlonega and the gold run started here in the states / thanks for the leaning curve
Good explanation of testing. What are you going to say when you get a new hat!
Not sure man, trying to avoid that at all cost!
Great video, excellent information. I've been dabbling in gold panning recently and had little knowledge of how to actually identify a probable gold deposit location. Thanks!
Love your channel brother you have a new sub
I was doing a bit of research on gold prospecting before I went on a trip over the mountain pass and we briefly stopped by a stream that was completely littered with gold with some decent size flakes, I might start to get into this hobby
Very cool. Well I just quit my day job Haha. *Pan on* ⚔👨🏻🌾
Nice presentation. People may not realize that YOU have to become the expert on the area you're working. What works in one location may not hold true..even for a different river or stream. It takes time. Cold greetings from Massachusetts
Most people want me to show them the exact spot to dig, what it really is, is learning to find the spot.
@@VoGusProspecting exactly. There are no short cuts. But that's also what i enjoy...the challenge😉💪
Good work man, I saw the video! great find
Great information, well presented and well edited. Liked and subscribed.
Thanks mate, I hope you enjoy the channel
Great video! Trying to get up with the chap that said he could find an ounce a day panning! Lol. 🤡🎈
Let me know when you do :-) hahahah
Your not giving away secrets your giving away knowledge
Fantastic educational video. Thanks Chris.
Like searching for a crack rock in the carpet
lol you wanna get good at this before you take the big dive into crack land
Exactly my friend 🤩😍☺️😆😂
Dude, your choice of music is cool :) But everytime I watch you work, my back hurts.. I did learn a lot today, thank you for your effort!
I got a stool ☺
