Ok. I know it should be important to know that I am in Puerto Rico USA. I retired 3 years ago but have been studying the ways of prospecting gold. I started seeing my buddy, your countryman Andy from Adventure Gold. Then I discover you and now I have two great guys from Australia. I go stay in the jungles here in PR with my dog too. I stay 3-4 days at a time. My dog digs for gold too lol He pushes me away when I start digging and he digs the same spot. He also dives for rocks underwater and comes out and puts them in a corner. At the end of the day I check out his pile. Hahaha its so funny cause he's a Labrador and very eager in the water. Anyways Chris, thanks fir the video. Must say this is one of the most enjoyable videos I've seen from you. Great stuff, Thanks. You have a buddy in Puerto Rico USA.

I just discovered this channel a few days ago but I love your stuff. Seriously, the format is great: not amateur, but not overdone and fake like most TV shows.
You come across as a great guy who's genuinely *passionate* about his hobby and that's what make these videos fun to watch . Keep it up mate!

Vo-Gus Prospecting great that you really like it because you are really good at it. 👍👏👏👏 so much so that my wife and I are holidaying in Italy at present and had to find a hotel with wifi so I could get a fix on your next episode. Love you work. It reminds me of the trout fishing series done by Rob Sitch ( of comedy fame) entitled “A river somewhere” which was aired as an ABC series and was the catalyst for me taking on fly fishing. It might be worth a look at that series as it might create and inspire some new ideas for future episodes. Did I tell you I love your work. Cheers Barry have a great day

    Good show Chris,
I do want to get something off my chest here. Once a week a long show builds up expectations and i believe this must pressure you to come up with new insights and film techniques. New guests and places to show. New methodes and extras. I feel a bit guilty expecting all this from you. I am glad you are breaking things up in seasons so you can take a long view on where you are going.
Take care and have a good one,
    Thanks i really enjoyed :)

Great video. One of your best yet. I'm really liking the new format, it's informative, entertaining and I find it rewarding to stick with you because thanks to you I have found gold on a small creek that supposedly has no gold. I want to take this opportunity to thank you sincerely for making all these videos and I also want to give a shout out to another two great prospecting UA-camrs, Dan Hurd and Pioneer Pauly. They're a wealth of information and great guys like you. Dan Hurd did a series where he teaches how to find gold in a classroom setting and that was also a big help in finding my first gold.

Gratz, you've done yourself proud. I especially liked the camping requirements bit of this vid, where you showed us the product and an approximate price. That was very very helpful. Also, I enjoyed the hunt. That's what it's all about. Doesn't matter how big or small the gold, how much or if there be none; it's all in the hunt. You're on the right track mate, keep it up.

Just the right video I needed to see. with my impending trip (week long and 300 miles away) to get back into prospecting, this video is awesome. I have never done a prospecting overnighter. although I think half of my younger years were spent in the woods. there are so many places I want to go but all require distant travel unless I want to dry wash pan. Luv the mountains and luv your videos.

Another great vid Chris, so informative. You are going to love the monster, I use the same "cherry picking" method and have done OK in the Gold Coast hinterland of all places, who would have thought. And give Griz a scratch behind the ear for me, what a personality ! I have also made three different diameter nozzles for my yabby pump, I can get a lot deeper in small crevices and don't have to move as quickly between crevice and pan (smaller opening retains material better) they are just a nozzle, not a gold trap.

Awesome video as always! Love having watched you evolve over the last almost two years now and I am hooked until you stop making videos! Was wondering on how you determine a season for your show? Apparently it isn't going to be by the year if you are only on episode and week 6 and already talking about season two. And are you going to be taking breaks between seasons, like a month to yourself without the pressure of getting a video out each week?
