Bosnia spent 5 centuries under Ottoman rule and with the downfall of the empire and the retreat of Turks, some Muslims followed and migrated to Turkey and Austria was granted then good part of balkans, becouse they fell behind on all the imperialistic chase of the time and had no colonies on other continents, so a concession in their favor was made by other european powers of the time. I'm not deep into history of the time, but bosnian highschool text books never mention any persecutions of muslims, rather state that some weren't comfortable with change of power and feared potential persecutions or they already had family members in Turkey and they joined them. Austria had a strong state and laws and treated their citizens equally, so even Muslims that stayed prospered under their rule. My sister in law is Bulgarian and I have friends from Romania and what always amazes me is that they never call Muslims living in their country Muslims, but use term Turks instead, but I came to know that they are actually of turkish descent, even speak the language 😂. Bosnian Muslims are mostly local converts of 6 centuries ago and even before then Bosnia was a multireligiouse society (Catholics, Orthodox and Bogumil) and at some point Bogumil just got extinct (only a few hundred of engraved stones they left us with) and historians hypothese that they most probably converted to Islam in mass and Bosnia is the only country on the balkan that accounts for over 50% of Muslim population.

I speak Serbian language, my best friend speaks Bosnian, and my wife speaks Croatian. My mom speaks Montenigrian. We all understand each other perfectly well. However, all my friends from Australia, USA and UK speak English and don't always understand each other perfectly well. Interesting world.

Moj deda je upoznao Bošnjake iz Turske, tokom rada u Iraku, 1984-5. godine. Mnogi su radili teške poslove i bili dobri i vredni ljudi. Jako su voleli našu muziku, pa im je deda kupovao kasete u Jugoslaviji se i donosilo. Žalili su se tada da su kao doseljenici bili loše tretirani u Turskoj. Mnogi od njih su živeli u siromašnim četvrtima gradova. Danas su potpuno asimilovani i imena su im primenjena. U Turskoj nema manjina. Svi moraju biti Turci. Svi mi smo isti narod, koji je podeljen zbog interesa velikih sila i religija. Kada slušam ove stare, kao svoju babu i dedu da vidim. Tuga je velika šta je urađeno i koliko smo se međusobno ubijali!

Up until Congress of Berlin in 1878 or administratively until 1908-9, Bosniaks from Sanjak of Novi Pazar (today: Sandzak) were also Bosnians, when it was seperated from Bosnian Vilayet and given to newly formed Kosovo Vilayet. Worth mentioning is that western parts of today's Sandzak, were part of Bosnian Kingdom up until the city of Sjenica, before it ever became it's own Sanjak, belonging to Bosnian Eyalet.
Evo par činjenica za bolje razumijevanje razvoja Teritorije DANAŠNJE Republike Bosne i Hercegovine: Mislim da povelje Bana Mateja Ninoslava (pisane od 1232 do 1234 Dubrovniku) dovoljno govore o tome kako su tačno smatrani stanovnici tadašnje bosne (Vrhbosne oko današnjeg Sarajeva) još u 13 vijeku. Čak se i to u posljednih 20 godina od strane Bosanaca-Muslimana odnosno Bošnjaka pokušava na sve moguće načine osporavati pa se pokušava na raznorazne načine nanovo protumačiti. Ali hajmo ovako: Originalna Bosna na koju se pozivaju Bosanci-Muslimani / Muhamedanci / Bošnjaci je okolina današnjeg Sarajeva gdje su i bili ti takozvani “dobri Bošnjani” Kulina Bana (svakako je glupo o tome raspravljati ali hajde neka bude za primjerak). Oblasti Hercegovine, Usore, Soli, istočne BiH itd. su svakako bile u potpunom sastavu Raške države (tj. Srbije Vlastimirovića, Vojisavljevića-Vukanovića i Nemanjića) od njenog prvog pominjana tačno 822. godine u franačkim analima (napisanih od Einhard-a) pa sve do 1135-te godine dok se ne gubi kod Mađara tj. u njihovoj Kraljevini. Te Zemlje su po zapisima većinski naseljavali Srbi sto je apsolutno nesporno. Kao što rekoh: Povelja Ninoslava apsolutno sve govori kao i kraljevski potpis Kralja Tvrtka. Bio je izricito kralj Srbalja a ne i Bošnjana ili bilo čega drugog. Činjenica je da je u politici i državu uopšteno naslijedio svijesno Nemanjiće i gotovo sve njihove postupke i način vladanja preuzeo jer je se smatrao sljedbenikom te drzave. Car Dušan je, kada je krunisan za Cara, zauzevši teritoriju od Dunava do Svijete Gore u Grčkoj, dodao svojoj tituli pored Cara Srba, i Car Grka i Arbanasa. Dakle bio je svijestan toga da su se u njegovom Carstvu nalazili narodi pored Srba kao Što glasi titula “Car Srba, Grka i Arbanasa i Pomorja i Epira i Tesalije i zapadnih strana” i svašta još nešto. Kada sagledamo sada tu situaciju: Kralj Tvrtko kao sljedbenik (bukvalno srpskih careva) se kruniše kao kralj SRBA i to je to. Mislim da je sasvim nesumnjivo pod kojim imenom je tada bio poznat narod u Bosni. Što se tiče kraljevske titulacije Kotromanića, ona je jako bitna. Ime države nije uvijek jednako sa Narodom koji u njoj živi. Najbolji dokaz je Tvrtko Kotromanić i svi njegovi Nasljenici do Kralja Stjepana Tomaševića. Istoriografija bosanska ili “bošnjacka” pa se prvenstveno bavi demantovanjem srpske istoriografije i novo-tumačenjem starih zapisa ili dokumenata. Primjer: Nada Klaić koja za Ajnhardove Anale govori o kojekakvom mjestu “Srb” i da se ne radi o Srbima koje spominje Ajnhard nego o mjestu Srb u kojem zive Bošnjani i Hrvati. Bosanskoj istoriografiji, otkad postoji (30 godina), je najveći cilj da pokuša da demantuje postojanje Srba i Hrvata unutar granica današnje Bosne i Hercegovine. Današnja istocna i zapadna Hercegovina i Podrinje je bilo vijekovima potpuno sastavni dio srpske države ili bolje reci “Srbskoj Zeml” sto bi rekli Nemanjići, Hrebeljanovici, Mrnjavcevici, Kotromanići…i tako dalje i to je apsolutno NESUMNJIVA istorijska činjenica. Već ovdje ta priča pada u vodu da Srbi nikakve veze nemaju sa bosnom, imaju i to kako. Činjenice su navedene gore. I da dodam jos nesto: što je za bošnjačku istoriografiju vjerovatno jako razočaravajuće jeste da činjenica, da čak i zapadna istoriografija ne piše ništa drugačije od onoga sto piše srpska. Kako je rekao njemački istoricar gospodin Eduard Mühle u svojoj knjizi “slawen” (slaveni): “Srednjovijekovna srpska državnost Kraljevinom Bosnom od 1377-te dozivljava još jedan kratak uspon u svojoj istoriji dok 1463-te konačno pada pod osmansku vlast”. Da ponovim: NJEMAČKI istoricar. Uopšte sam se posljednih 20 godina, kroz privilegiju koju imam živjeti na Zapadu, bavio raznoraznim izvorima i radovima o istoriji jugoistočne evrope, naročito prostora bivše jugoslavije. Jako je interesantno to što se istoriografija Zapada poklapa jednako sa većinom srpskih istoričara, vjerovatno najjačeg ikada gospodina Vladimira Ćorovića, rođenog Mostarca. Zato se ne može reći da je ovo sve "propaganda srpska". Plus što ja i moji lično i nismo iz Srbije nego iz Hercegovine porijeklom. U stanju smo ispratiti naše pretke do 1650-tih godina, Trebinje. Srpsko-pravoslavna porodica Miletić, naselili s kraja 18 vijeka današnju bosansku Krajinu, sklonivši se od Turaka iz Hercegovine. Cijelo Selo došlo iz okoline Trebinja, i dan danas slavimo Đurđevdan. Bili smo prisiljeni da pobijegnemo od Turaka zarad sukoba i ubistva tadašnjeg lokalnog Paše kod Trebinja. Todorovići, Kusići, Čerekovići, Miletići, Tubaci....pravoslvni Srbi iz istočne Hercegovine. Sjetih se još jednog članka sa jednog foruma “historije bosne i bošnjaka: “Slavenska plemena koja su naselila bosnu prozvaše se Bošnjani”. Ovdje se indirektno potvrđuje da je djelimično porijeklo “Bošnjana” srednjeg vijeka srpsko-hrvatsko. Zapravo svi izvori tog doba, kada je bila ogromna najezda slavenskih plemena sa sjevera na jug, prije svega vizantijski i franački izvori 9. I 10 vijeka, ne navode nikakve Bošnjane ili neki sličan termin. Prostor od Istre do skadarskog jezera (uključujući zagorje tih zemalja) su naselili pored Srba i Hrvata i mnogobrojna druga Slavenska plemena koja su nestala i pretopila se u Srbe i Hrvate. Dalmacija, Slavonija, Zahumlje, Paganija, Travunija, Duklja, Bosna, Raška: To su oblasti koje se javljaju u doba od 9. do 11. vijeka i tim oblastima vladaju Srbi i Hrvati. Među zapisima Naroda koji su migrirali nema Bosanskog / Bošnjakog etnosa, nema Kulinovih Bošnjana. Oblast Bosne je dobila ime po rijeci Bosni a ne po Narodu koji je nju naselio. I moram te upozoriti: Moraš razlikovati o kojoj teritoriji tacno pricaš. Ja govorim o nekadašnjij teritoriji DANAŠNJE republike BiH. Naprimjer slavensko pleme Sorba kod Dresdena u njemačkoj tu živi najmanje 1400 godina i do dan danas su ostali Sorbi i ako su faktički u “tuđoj” državi što naročito za Srbe i Hrvate ne možemo reći. Bosna i Hercegovina je s punim pravom srpska i hrvatska isto onoliko koliko je danas bošnjačka. Hercegovina je čisto srpska teritorija i kao takva je već cijeli Milenijum i ako se više ne nalazi u Srbiji. Opet primjer: Eparhija humska. Ali dobro, dovoljno smo polemisali oko teritorije današnje republike BiH. Apsolutno je nelogično pokušavati na bilo koji način demantovati pomenute činjenice koje su dovoljno dokumentirane. Nego, reci: Šta kažeš za Srbe islamske vjeroispovijesti poput Saliha Selimovića, Mesu Selimovića, Osmana Đikića, Omer Paše Latasa…? Veziri: Mehmed Paša Sokolović, srpskog porijekla pravoslavne porodice iz visegrada pod čiju inicijativu je obnovljena srpska patrijaršija. Rustem Paša, hrvatski vezir? Da li znaš da većina današnjih muslimana u BiH vodi porijeklo iz hercegovine i srbije, nekadašnjih srpsko-pravoslavnih porodica? Danas postoje muslimani čak sa prezimenom Vuković (kao primjer), Vukovicć kao prezime koje vodi porijeklo od srpkih plemena iz stare Crne Gore. Možda su Bošnjani čak i postojali nekad kao kasniji ogranak srpsko-hrvatski, ko zna. Ali to današnji muslimani definitivno nisu. Porijeklo je jako lako ispratiti.
@@Stalker950-l3x Čim sam pročitao srpsku laž i glupost kako je navodno vezir Mehmed Paša Sokolović "iz srpske porodice" (a otac mu se zvao Džemaludin Sinan-Beg lol) obnovio Srpsku patrijaršiju i to lupetanje za "srbe islamske vjeroispovjesti" shvatio sam koja je dijagnoza u pitanju :D Mehmed je postao vezir tek nakon što je patrijaršija obnovljena, tako da je to laž i obična srpska izmišljotina, a Islamski srbi i "muhamedanci" kako vi pogrdno zovete muslimane, ne postoje, svi koje si nabrojao nisu religiozni. Interesting video, some of those you interviewed are from Sandzak (a region where Bosniaks live and is located between Serbia and Montenegro). From the beginning of the 19th century until the end of the 20th century, several migrations took place towards Turkey from the direction of the Balkans. Depending on which village you come across, their ability to speak Bosnian also depends. In Istanbul, in the Bosniak majority districts of Pendik and Bayrampaşa/Yıldırım, you can find many Bosniaks who migrated during Yugoslavia (1950s and 1960s) and whose mother tongue is Bosnian. You can find Bosnians everywhere in the world, we are a suffering people for the last 150 years. You can visit Albania, there are Bosnian villages there too, they still managed to preserve the Bosnian language. Under the dictator you were only allowed to speak Albanian, could be hard punished if you speak another language

As for Serbian colonies in eastern Ukraine and Hungary, there are so much Bosnian influence on Ottoman Empire (ca fifty Great Vezirs), and many bosnian muslims (then called muslims) came during second half of 19century and before ww1. And actually there are some 60 000 with serbian ancestry in Turkey.

The Bosniaks were originally Croats that escaped from Bosnia to get away from the Ottoman Turks and who settled in Hungary in the 16th century. Those Croats are still called Bosniaks in Hungary today (Hungarian: Bosnyákok).

I could've saved you the hours-long trip.. Pretty sure there continues to be a relatively large Bosniak population in Pendik, which isn't very far outside of Istanbul. But I suppose you were totally down for a little bit of a goose chase from the start -- that's half the fun of traveling. But yeah, i'm pretty sure there are a bunch of Bosniaks (Sandzaklije, more specifically) in Pendik to this very day, owing to multiple waves of immigration dating back to at least the late-19th century.
@@uzeirdautbegovic1148 the ethnic composition of a place like Novi Pazar is complex and layered, and features the same sort of mixing and blending of populations (both at the genetic, haplogroup level as well as the macro, cultural, group level) that one would expect to find anywhere else in the world. I know plenty of folk from that area who have a traceable ancestral link back to various parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as people who have very typical Slavic surnames indicating either Catholic or Orthodox origins but whose ancestors converted to Islam generations ago. It's not a cut and dry "Sandzaklije are Albanians" story... Those sorts of nationalist narratives are unfortunately all too familiar in that part of the world.

Of course there were Bosnians/Serbs who moved to Istanbul or Anatolia for various reasons during Ottoman times but the first wave of migration from Bosnia to Turkey took place after the annexation of Bosnia & Herzegovina by the Austria Hungarian Empire towards the end of 19th century. My father side also came in that wave from Mostar and settled in a Bosnian village near Izmir. They must have feared a war or a lot of violence would happen, otherwise they would not leave their ancestors lands. You can find large Bosnian populations in in towns like Istanbul, Sakarya, Izmir, Bursa Canakkale etc, basically European part of Turkey and Western/North Western Turkey. It is estimated that at least 1 million people in Turkey have Bosnian origin.

Very interesting story mate. I m half Serbian Herzegovinian and half Maltese. Somehow I was imagining what will happen to my family tree since I m born & bred in Malta 🇲🇹 and have preserved our Serbian culture within our family. I know the language, traditions etc. Would be amazed if after 100 years my ancestors would be able to continue speaking Serbian, know when our SLAVA is, where my father and grand fathers etc are from in Herzegovina etc ... People should always be proud of their own heritage. I regularely visit the Balkans got family in Herzegovina & Serbia hence why I speak good Serbian and love visiting my roots and family over there. Cant deny I feel Balkan and have the mentality too and when I m there I feel home too. Herzegovina (Mostar) where we re from & Malta have similar climates too. Also I look Balkan physically haha and I love it when I m in Malta and since there are lots of Balkan people working here we sort of recognize each other from our faces etc ...Keep doing these videos man! He starts speaking bosnian and just continues with turkish in the middle of the sentence. So, nobody can understand that unless speaking turkish too.

To everyone who's saying 'that's all serbian' please educate yourself first. Bosnian had with it's Bosančica and Arebica two own alphabets. In the 1800 they began to mix Latin and Bosančica. The Arebica disappeared after the Ottoman empire. Its a fact that Serbs have lots of turkish words in their so called serbian language. 😊

@justseven3487 Well, it's slightly more complicated than that. Bosnia spent 5 centuries under Ottoman rule and with the downfall of the empire and the retreat of Turks, some Muslims followed and migrated to Turkey and Austria was granted then good part of balkans, becouse they fell behind on all the imperialistic chase of the time and had no colonies on other continents, so a concession in their favor was made by other european powers of the time. I'm not deep into history of the time, but bosnian highschool text books never mention any persecutions of muslims, rather state that some weren't comfortable with change of power and feared potential persecutions or they already had family members in Turkey and they joined them. Austria had a strong state and laws and treated their citizens equally, so even Muslims that stayed prospered under their rule. My sister in law is Bulgarian and I have friends from Romania and what always amazes me is that they never call Muslims living in their country Muslims, but use term Turks instead, but I came to know that they are actually of turkish descent, even speak the language 😂. Bosnian Muslims are mostly local converts of 6 centuries ago and even before then Bosnia was a multireligiouse society (Catholics, Orthodox and Bogumil) and at some point Bogumil just got extinct (only a few hundred of engraved stones they left us with) and historians hypothese that they most probably converted to Islam in mass and Bosnia is the only country on the balkan that accounts for over 50% of Muslim population.

Moj deda je upoznao Bošnjake iz Turske, tokom rada u Iraku, 1984-5. godine. Mnogi su radili teške poslove i bili dobri i vredni ljudi. Jako su voleli našu muziku, pa im je deda kupovao kasete u Jugoslaviji se i donosilo. Žalili su se tada da su kao doseljenici bili loše tretirani u Turskoj. Mnogi od njih su živeli u siromašnim četvrtima gradova. Danas su potpuno asimilovani i imena su im primenjena. U Turskoj nema manjina. Svi moraju biti Turci. Svi mi smo isti narod, koji je podeljen zbog interesa velikih sila i religija. Kada slušam ove stare, kao svoju babu i dedu da vidim. Tuga je velika šta je urađeno i koliko smo se međusobno ubijali!

Up until Congress of Berlin in 1878 or administratively until 1908-9, Bosniaks from Sanjak of Novi Pazar (today: Sandzak) were also Bosnians, when it was seperated from Bosnian Vilayet and given to newly formed Kosovo Vilayet.
Worth mentioning is that western parts of today's Sandzak, were part of Bosnian Kingdom up until the city of Sjenica, before it ever became it's own Sanjak, belonging to Bosnian Eyalet.
Evo par činjenica za bolje razumijevanje razvoja Teritorije DANAŠNJE Republike Bosne i Hercegovine:
Mislim da povelje Bana Mateja Ninoslava (pisane od 1232 do 1234 Dubrovniku) dovoljno govore o tome kako su tačno smatrani stanovnici tadašnje bosne (Vrhbosne oko današnjeg Sarajeva) još u 13 vijeku. Čak se i to u posljednih 20 godina od strane Bosanaca-Muslimana odnosno Bošnjaka pokušava na sve moguće načine osporavati pa se pokušava na raznorazne načine nanovo protumačiti.
Ali hajmo ovako: Originalna Bosna na koju se pozivaju Bosanci-Muslimani / Muhamedanci / Bošnjaci je okolina današnjeg Sarajeva gdje su i bili ti takozvani “dobri Bošnjani” Kulina Bana (svakako je glupo o tome raspravljati ali hajde neka bude za primjerak). Oblasti Hercegovine, Usore, Soli, istočne BiH itd. su svakako bile u potpunom sastavu Raške države (tj. Srbije Vlastimirovića, Vojisavljevića-Vukanovića i Nemanjića) od njenog prvog pominjana tačno 822. godine u franačkim analima (napisanih od Einhard-a) pa sve do 1135-te godine dok se ne gubi kod Mađara tj. u njihovoj Kraljevini. Te Zemlje su po zapisima većinski naseljavali Srbi sto je apsolutno nesporno. Kao što rekoh: Povelja Ninoslava apsolutno sve govori kao i kraljevski potpis Kralja Tvrtka. Bio je izricito kralj Srbalja a ne i Bošnjana ili bilo čega drugog. Činjenica je da je u politici i državu uopšteno naslijedio svijesno Nemanjiće i gotovo sve njihove postupke i način vladanja preuzeo jer je se smatrao sljedbenikom te drzave. Car Dušan je, kada je krunisan za Cara, zauzevši teritoriju od Dunava do Svijete Gore u Grčkoj, dodao svojoj tituli pored Cara Srba, i Car Grka i Arbanasa. Dakle bio je svijestan toga da su se u njegovom Carstvu nalazili narodi pored Srba kao Što glasi titula “Car Srba, Grka i Arbanasa i Pomorja i Epira i Tesalije i zapadnih strana” i svašta još nešto.
Kada sagledamo sada tu situaciju: Kralj Tvrtko kao sljedbenik (bukvalno srpskih careva) se kruniše kao kralj SRBA i to je to. Mislim da je sasvim nesumnjivo pod kojim imenom je tada bio poznat narod u Bosni.
Što se tiče kraljevske titulacije Kotromanića, ona je jako bitna. Ime države nije uvijek jednako sa Narodom koji u njoj živi. Najbolji dokaz je Tvrtko Kotromanić i svi njegovi Nasljenici do Kralja Stjepana Tomaševića.
Istoriografija bosanska ili “bošnjacka” pa se prvenstveno bavi demantovanjem srpske istoriografije i novo-tumačenjem starih zapisa ili dokumenata. Primjer: Nada Klaić koja za Ajnhardove Anale govori o kojekakvom mjestu “Srb” i da se ne radi o Srbima koje spominje Ajnhard nego o mjestu Srb u kojem zive Bošnjani i Hrvati. Bosanskoj istoriografiji, otkad postoji (30 godina), je najveći cilj da pokuša da demantuje postojanje Srba i Hrvata unutar granica današnje Bosne i Hercegovine.
Današnja istocna i zapadna Hercegovina i Podrinje je bilo vijekovima potpuno sastavni dio srpske države ili bolje reci “Srbskoj Zeml” sto bi rekli Nemanjići, Hrebeljanovici, Mrnjavcevici, Kotromanići…i tako dalje i to je apsolutno NESUMNJIVA istorijska činjenica. Već ovdje ta priča pada u vodu da Srbi nikakve veze nemaju sa bosnom, imaju i to kako. Činjenice su navedene gore.
I da dodam jos nesto: što je za bošnjačku istoriografiju vjerovatno jako razočaravajuće jeste da činjenica, da čak i zapadna istoriografija ne piše ništa drugačije od onoga sto piše srpska. Kako je rekao njemački istoricar gospodin Eduard Mühle u svojoj knjizi “slawen” (slaveni): “Srednjovijekovna srpska državnost Kraljevinom Bosnom od 1377-te dozivljava još jedan kratak uspon u svojoj istoriji dok 1463-te konačno pada pod osmansku vlast”. Da ponovim: NJEMAČKI istoricar.
Uopšte sam se posljednih 20 godina, kroz privilegiju koju imam živjeti na Zapadu, bavio raznoraznim izvorima i radovima o istoriji jugoistočne evrope, naročito prostora bivše jugoslavije. Jako je interesantno to što se istoriografija Zapada poklapa jednako sa većinom srpskih istoričara, vjerovatno najjačeg ikada gospodina Vladimira Ćorovića, rođenog Mostarca. Zato se ne može reći da je ovo sve "propaganda srpska". Plus što ja i moji lično i nismo iz Srbije nego iz Hercegovine porijeklom. U stanju smo ispratiti naše pretke do 1650-tih godina, Trebinje. Srpsko-pravoslavna porodica Miletić, naselili s kraja 18 vijeka današnju bosansku Krajinu, sklonivši se od Turaka iz Hercegovine. Cijelo Selo došlo iz okoline Trebinja, i dan danas slavimo Đurđevdan. Bili smo prisiljeni da pobijegnemo od Turaka zarad sukoba i ubistva tadašnjeg lokalnog Paše kod Trebinja. Todorovići, Kusići, Čerekovići, Miletići, Tubaci....pravoslvni Srbi iz istočne Hercegovine.
Sjetih se još jednog članka sa jednog foruma “historije bosne i bošnjaka: “Slavenska plemena koja su naselila bosnu prozvaše se Bošnjani”. Ovdje se indirektno potvrđuje da je djelimično porijeklo “Bošnjana” srednjeg vijeka srpsko-hrvatsko. Zapravo svi izvori tog doba, kada je bila ogromna najezda slavenskih plemena sa sjevera na jug, prije svega vizantijski i franački izvori 9. I 10 vijeka, ne navode nikakve Bošnjane ili neki sličan termin. Prostor od Istre do skadarskog jezera (uključujući zagorje tih zemalja) su naselili pored Srba i Hrvata i mnogobrojna druga Slavenska plemena koja su nestala i pretopila se u Srbe i Hrvate. Dalmacija, Slavonija, Zahumlje, Paganija, Travunija, Duklja, Bosna, Raška: To su oblasti koje se javljaju u doba od 9. do 11. vijeka i tim oblastima vladaju Srbi i Hrvati. Među zapisima Naroda koji su migrirali nema Bosanskog / Bošnjakog etnosa, nema Kulinovih Bošnjana. Oblast Bosne je dobila ime po rijeci Bosni a ne po Narodu koji je nju naselio. I moram te upozoriti: Moraš razlikovati o kojoj teritoriji tacno pricaš. Ja govorim o nekadašnjij teritoriji DANAŠNJE republike BiH. Naprimjer slavensko pleme Sorba kod Dresdena u njemačkoj tu živi najmanje 1400 godina i do dan danas su ostali Sorbi i ako su faktički u “tuđoj” državi što naročito za Srbe i Hrvate ne možemo reći. Bosna i Hercegovina je s punim pravom srpska i hrvatska isto onoliko koliko je danas bošnjačka. Hercegovina je čisto srpska teritorija i kao takva je već cijeli Milenijum i ako se više ne nalazi u Srbiji. Opet primjer: Eparhija humska.
Ali dobro, dovoljno smo polemisali oko teritorije današnje republike BiH. Apsolutno je nelogično pokušavati na bilo koji način demantovati pomenute činjenice koje su dovoljno dokumentirane.
Nego, reci: Šta kažeš za Srbe islamske vjeroispovijesti poput Saliha Selimovića, Mesu Selimovića, Osmana Đikića, Omer Paše Latasa…?
Veziri: Mehmed Paša Sokolović, srpskog porijekla pravoslavne porodice iz visegrada pod čiju inicijativu je obnovljena srpska patrijaršija. Rustem Paša, hrvatski vezir?
Da li znaš da većina današnjih muslimana u BiH vodi porijeklo iz hercegovine i srbije, nekadašnjih srpsko-pravoslavnih porodica? Danas postoje muslimani čak sa prezimenom Vuković (kao primjer), Vukovicć kao prezime koje vodi porijeklo od srpkih plemena iz stare Crne Gore. @@Stalker950-l3x Čim sam pročitao srpsku laž i glupost kako je navodno vezir Mehmed Paša Sokolović "iz srpske porodice" (a otac mu se zvao Džemaludin Sinan-Beg lol) obnovio Srpsku patrijaršiju i to lupetanje za "srbe islamske vjeroispovjesti" shvatio sam koja je dijagnoza u pitanju :D Mehmed je postao vezir tek nakon što je patrijaršija obnovljena, tako da je to laž i obična srpska izmišljotina, a Islamski srbi i "muhamedanci" kako vi pogrdno zovete muslimane, ne postoje, svi koje si nabrojao nisu religiozni. Srbin je uvijek bio samo onaj ko je srpske vjere, prestanite više lagati sebe.

Interesting video, some of those you interviewed are from Sandzak (a region where Bosniaks live and is located between Serbia and Montenegro). From the beginning of the 19th century until the end of the 20th century, several migrations took place towards Turkey from the direction of the Balkans. Depending on which village you come across, their ability to speak Bosnian also depends. In Istanbul, in the Bosniak majority districts of Pendik and Bayrampaşa/Yıldırım, you can find many Bosniaks who migrated during Yugoslavia (1950s and 1960s) and whose mother tongue is Bosnian. You can hear a lot more from them because they speak the language fluently, unlike those who came in the 19th century. In addition to Istanbul, there are many villages in the Marmara region as well as in the big cities such as Izmir, Sakarya, Edirne where you have many Bosniaks.

You can visit Albania, there are Bosnian villages there too, they still managed to preserve the Bosnian language. As for Serbian colonies in eastern Ukraine and Hungary, there are so much Bosnian influence on Ottoman Empire (ca fifty Great Vezirs), and many bosnian muslims (then called muslims) came during second half of 19century and before ww1. I could've saved you the hours-long trip.. Pretty sure there continues to be a relatively large Bosniak population in Pendik, which isn't very far outside of Istanbul. But I suppose you were totally down for a little bit of a goose chase from the start -- that's half the fun of traveling. But yeah, i'm pretty sure there are a bunch of Bosniaks (Sandzaklije, more specifically) in Pendik to this very day, owing to multiple waves of immigration dating back to at least the late-19th century.

@@uzeirdautbegovic1148 the ethnic composition of a place like Novi Pazar is complex and layered, and features the same sort of mixing and blending of populations (both at the genetic, haplogroup level as well as the macro, cultural, group level) that one would expect to find anywhere else in the world. I know plenty of folk from that area who have a traceable ancestral link back to various parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as people who have very typical Slavic surnames indicating either Catholic or Orthodox origins but whose ancestors converted to Islam generations ago. It's not a cut and dry "Sandzaklije are Albanians" story... Those sorts of nationalist narratives are unfortunately all too familiar in that part of the world.
@@WordToMomsYo Most of people that settled in Novi Pazar hail from tribes like Kuči or Vasojevići, those are Montenegrin Albanian tribes, very few come from Bosnia, I know it is more complex than that but generally they (Sandžaklijas) are mostly Albanians.

Of course there were Bosnians/Serbs who moved to Istanbul or Anatolia for various reasons during Ottoman times but the first wave of migration from Bosnia to Turkey took place after the annexation of Bosnia & Herzegovina by the Austria Hungarian Empire towards the end of 19th century. My father side also came in that wave from Mostar and settled in a Bosnian village near Izmir. They must have feared a war or a lot of violence would happen, otherwise they would not leave their ancestors lands.
You can find large Bosnian populations in in towns like Istanbul, Sakarya, Izmir, Bursa Canakkale etc, basically European part of Turkey and Western/North Western Turkey. It is estimated that at least 1 million people in Turkey have Bosnian origin.

If you have more time in Turkey next time visit the district of Karamürsel (province of Kocaeli), a lot of Bosnians there, specially in the villages. About 2 hrs from Istanbul, depending on the route you take.

Very interesting story mate. I m half Serbian Herzegovinian and half Maltese. Somehow I was imagining what will happen to my family tree since I m born & bred in Malta 🇲🇹 and have preserved our Serbian culture within our family. I know the language, traditions etc. Would be amazed if after 100 years my ancestors would be able to continue speaking Serbian, know when our SLAVA is, where my father and grand fathers etc are from in Herzegovina etc ... People should always be proud of their own heritage. I regularely visit the Balkans got family in Herzegovina & Serbia hence why I speak good Serbian and love visiting my roots and family over there. Cant deny I feel Balkan and have the mentality too and when I m there I feel home too. Herzegovina (Mostar) where we re from & Malta have similar climates too. Also I look Balkan physically haha and I love it when I m in Malta and since there are lots of Balkan people working here we sort of recognize each other from our faces etc ...Keep doing these videos man! One part of my family decided to leave for Turkey in the face of the Austro-Hungarian mandate in Bosnia, the other part stayed. As an Avdić whose grandparents stayed in Bosnia, it kind of feel proud that the first man who sat down to speak to you, is one of my distant cousins. Great video, man!

He starts speaking bosnian and just continues with turkish in the middle of the sentence. So, nobody can understand that unless speaking turkish too.

To everyone who's saying 'that's all serbian' please educate yourself first. Bosnian had with it's Bosančica and Arebica two own alphabets. In the 1800 they began to mix Latin and Bosančica. The Arebica disappeared after the Ottoman empire.
Its a fact that Serbs have lots of turkish words in their so called serbian language. 😊
