Hey man, just recently bought a quest 3 looking at many head straps at the moment, how long do you get out the headset if you was using it standalone vs pcvr, I more use it standalone at the moment playing casino games or games like ghosts of tabor, would it reach the 4-5hr mark with the quest 3 being 100% and this battery pack, thanks :)
Hey bro, so when I play standalone getting just under 2 hours on a full 100% quest, then i would say at least another 2 to 2 and a half on batterysaver and depending on games also, but when i play ghosts of tabor, i say its more in the 2 hours range since it is more demanding, but with it being fast charging its perfect to plug in for 30 mins and get at least another hour, I do like the BoBoVR for the fact you can get extra batteries and while on is in use the other charges so you will never run out of juice, it just depends on how much you are willing to spend :)
I recommend the binbok headstrap for quest 3 it has 2 swappable batteries that each last about 4 hours so about 10 hours play time in total including the quest battery, but I recently got it and have had no complaints

Hey thank you for reaching out, I personally have not tried out the Kiwi model, I am trying to get a test kit sent out, but if you are in the market for right now, I can 100% recommend this one or the BoboVR since you can switch out the batteries for endless play time :)
this question might be stupid but why does so many brands have the same head strap?
I actually think the same thing haha, I do have one that is something new which I have not seen before with dual tightening straps so that video will be out soon testing that :)
Hey I received my headstrap yesterday, snd it came with no charger, no charger cable, bo charging instructions, so now im left with a useless brick once jr runs out of rhw bur kd zhaegw it has......
After about an hour of frantically trying to figure out what kind of cable it needs, in the end, i just tried using my quest 3 charger that came with my headset, but i SWEAR i could smell a bit of burning after 10 mins or so.....so i turned it off.....
Its weird, because it charges my quest PERFECTLY fine...in fact, i played my quest almost 3 hours without dropping even 1%, even the battery pack seemed to of stayed on 3 lights.....but now im frustrated and worried, i need to know how to fucking charge this damn thing ....
Oh that is odd, I have never experienced this, have you reached out to AUBIKA as I am sure they will either guide you or even exchange the unit if faulty :) wish I could be more help on this matter
@@CallumAFK fair enough...well, that IS my next step....I only received it last night, so I haven't had the chance...just out of interest, did you receive a charging cable with it? And if not, what do you use to charge it?
I just find it odd, I'd of thought if it was faulty it would of fried my quest 3....but it charged my quest 3 for JUST under 3 hours....and my west didn't even lose 1% while connected......so it obviously works as a battery pack.....
So either I'm using the wrong charger, or it has a faulty charging port.....
I am gunna change my extension lead later, because when I looked at my phone charger yesterday, it was slightly blackened on one little bit of one pin....looks like it's been arcing when plugging it in....I dunno...I honestly don't know what to do 😢😢 even if Amazon send a replacement, it could still come without a charger cable. To which point I'd be in the same position 😢
@@CallumAFK well, this is odd, I've got it on charge again, it doesn't seem to be having a problem.....I waited till my carer came in so I could borrow his nose, so to speak, as I don't know if it was just in my head due to being paranoid about not actually knowing what cable to use....it's been on for almost an hour now and no problem.....so either, there was no problem, or it's the socket I used in the extension lead (I changed the hole that I used this time)......anyhow...I dunno...I'll let you know how it goes.....
How long does it usually take to charge using the quest 3 cable and plug?
I don't think mine came with a charging cable, I used the USB C cable from quest 3 as I thought since it doesn't damage the quest it must be ok for the head strap and so far no issues, but yeah I am the same, leaving my quest on charge I always feel like it could just go at any moment but it is all in my head overthinking it all, but i am glad you got sorted but do keep me updated for sure! @@alexwesley6829

20w is powerfull? wake up dude, yo need 65w to get your oculus charging :] thi is useless
I mean I have not had a single issue with my Quest 3 charging or keeping charge while using this??
