I like this series. I really hate how even youtubers who's job consists of making sounds, like musicians, push these. I know they need their cash like everyone else but I expect just a little bit of integrity from them. Haven't seen any listening devices this overpriced and over reputed with such bad sound quality since the original Beats headphones were coming out. Not to mention they sit really uncomfortably in the ear.
Not to mention, I purchased one pair, and the audio kept cutting in and out. I decided to get a replacement, and THAT ONE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.
Not to mention copy and pasting the same exact reviews for the E55s for the E25s on almost all platforms. The earbuds themselvs breaking less than a week ( first ones didn't even work). Asking you to pay for the repair or to buy another from them. Tottal scam.
Idk, seems like if you're a hifi audio nut, stuff like raycon is an obvious red flag

I like how you mentioned Skullcandy. I've been using the same pair of those (not wireless) for nearly a decade and only now are they getting to the point where they're starting to wear out. Great $40 pair of earbuds. I'm not surprised at all that the Raycons are overhyped and overpriced. I support the people that want you to do Raid: Shadow Legends, but I'm not sure how you'd say if that's "worth the money" or not since it's an F2P game.
Yep me too! I just started going to the gym again after 10 years and thought I'd get some wireless since the cord kind of gets in the way.. glad I watched this. But yes my probably 10-15 year old skull candies are awesome
Back in the day skull candy was always my go to. Great for the quality price and I loved the logo.
I'm tone deaf, so it sounds like I probably wouldn't notice much difference in the was they sound compared to what I usually use, but I thank you for preventing me in wasting the money on them.

I’ve got some skull candy headphones. They’re the ones where you can increase and decrease the bass, which I don’t really care for that feature (although the extra bass is incredible for watching movies) and the audio is fantastic. Skull candy just all around is a decent brand

I love this series. Though, I am a skeptic on ANYTHING that advertises. Especially advertising on videos. But seeing someone not sponsored, put these to the test is great. Goes to show that the high dollar amounts is just them trying to cash in on hype based on the popularity of the people they are using as shills. Looking for the weak willed listeners to up and buy them cause their favorite streamer had to say they were great...

I've had and loved Anker and bayback pro (the back bay duet pro has 130 hours on the case and the earbud themselves last 8 hours and only cost 55 dollars)
I'll admit im not a audiophile but both of these don't sound like dollar store and listening to podcasts the voice isn't muffled

Agreed. I have heard so many mixed things about Displate that I don’t know whether to order or not. Skeem is brutally honest so I would enjoy his opinion on it.

Have you thought of doing a review on isotunes? The reason I ask is they seem to be the most affordable hearing protection bluetooth out there. I've thought about getting a pair when I have to run chainsaws or snowblowers or mowers etc but I haven't wanted to waste money on something when I don't know the quality of it.
Finally. A youtuber who understands what quality audio is. So sick of people promoting Raycon and the Ath-m50x

Check out Earfun Airs...great value and features for under $50 (on sale thru Amazon, come out to 47.99 iirc), lots of features typically found on the $100+ buds. I love mine, there are some good reviews on UA-cam if you are still looking.

Honestly, given my druthers, I’d go skullcandy. Ultimately I’d love to own a pair of Bose or Beats, but I can’t justify that kind of money
Ath-sr50bt or v-moda crossfade wireless 2. You get them open box or used at great prices. Got my sr50bt in open box for $100. Theyre literally the best headphones at their prices and quality. Unless you're just going for sound in which case I'd push you to get the ath-msr7b or the Sennheiser HD560s
It sounds like its not justifiable spending over $100 for headphones, but trust me, you listen to a flac file version of your music on a dap with a good pair of studio monitors or other high end dj headphone...you won't regret it. My msr7b is my current standard for closed backs.

gotta respect that skullcandy shout out, i got two pairs of skullcandy wireless in ear, cos i have issues with crowds, and i also forget to charge my case, so i have backup, and i am pretty sure the two sets is cheaper then the raycons and does the job i need them to do.

You know something is a scam when the ads focus on how cheap it is for the "quality" you get, or how nice it looks, or who or what it's associated with. Same marketting gimmicks that crap like the Beats was pushing. Wherever I look, Raycons get crapped on by anyone with experience with them. I'll stick to Sennheiser. I don't blame UA-camrs for accepting the money from these guys, but I wish more UA-camrs would make ads like Internet Historian; Indirectly parodying the product they're paid to shill so it goes over the head of these guys.
I got Samsung Live with my phone. But, I have seen these being advertised all over UA-cam! Thank you for saving me money! I was going to buy some for my brother. But, now I will look into another company

I bought the next tier version of Raycons. The sound quality was slightly better then what you experienced.... How ever I ended up going through 2 pairs because after about a month the audio levels would desync between them. I went through their tech support and what they told you to do didn't work so I returned them. I will say this for the company atleast there was no hassle returning them and as soon as they registered that the buds were shipped my money was back in my account in a few hours.
Another potential sponsor trashed. Truth wins again!

Thanks skeem I had my doubts about the raycon brand since one feature they promote is battery life which is like 7hrs for raycon but my JBL brand ear buds have a 24hr battery live and my JBL wireless headphones have a 30hr battery live. Not sure what sound quality it would be but price wise far better like 50 sum for headset and 30 sum for earbuds.
80 bucks for Sony's WF-C500... Yeah I don't regret getting these. They have excellent sound and I'm a bit picky about sound.

The JLab earbuds are my go to for cheaper end/budget earbuds. I almost went off the deep end and got some Jabras or Sennheisers but I'm glad I didn't.

Bought Samsung Buds + over a pair of raycons & really happy with my decision they sound great, as a samsung user connectivity is really good & it's pretty good when connecting to my macbook. Skullcandy are good, but from personal experience the wired ones must never experience the rain in any form.
Glad to see this as im in the market for a nicer set of wireless earbuds.

Checkout earfun airs, I picked em up for just under 50 on Amazon a few weeks ago (right now they are 59.99 + a 20% off coupon, 47.99 total). I posted a comment,but here were the features that got me to buy in:
USB C, wireless charging/charging case, simple pairing takes a few seconds to pair on my phone, tablet, and an old laptop, good sound quality (I'm not an audiophile though), good touch control built into the buds (play, pause, skip track/vid, vol up and down), comfortable fit - they don't fall out i can shake my head and they stay put, auto pause when removing from either ear, and about 5 hrs of battery life per charge plus an extra charge or 2 with the case. Overall a great set of buds for under 50 if anyone is looking for something more affordable.
Go for the new Sony true wireless, audiotechnica true wireless, or air pod pros

Fun! I have seen a few other "Raycon"-exposed things, but they were made by folks that aren't primarily musicians. I guess the one dislike is from Raycon...
They really aren't for people who know audio cause I'm a casual listener and just watched the vid with Raycons and they sound crisp but aren't actually crisp but the one thing I like about them are that the sound blockage is great so you can watch videos without bothering people
Jabra elite 65t, cheap and very good sound quality, got a pair for 50 euro. Only 5hr battery time but I usually never have them in for that long anyway
I recommend SoundPeats on Amazon. I’ve had mine for many months and got some for my family. I like it a lot, but I’m also just a common listener. So I’m not sure how they are for someone who really knows music.
I love mine when I play raid shadow legends while manscaping my sack and learning something on that site for learning stuff I can't remember.

I own a pair and honestly agree with skeem. They're not terrible but not really worth the cost unless you just want to support someone by buying them. One problem I ran into was after a few weeks they started having problems auto disconnecting from bluetooth when closing the case, probably due to cheap charging contacts but who knows.
Have you tried galaxy buds? Im curious how they compair to the airpods

Raycons just don't work in other countries. Aliexpress and other online shopping platforms have provided dozens of wireless earbuds that are cheaper and sound better.
I'm a bit of an audiophile myself. I'm partially blind, so my other senses are heightened. Valuable information, though I generally prefer headphones to earbuds.
In general, one of the most annoying features in head/earphones is over boosted bass. This why I really like my JBL live bt400. I have an old pair of Harman/Lardon bt's that are great too, but heavy.
I think displate would be a good one. Mrs Skeem could use it for nursery design purposes and you can judge whether it’s a good product.

I think you should do durability tests as well, cause I've had mid priced wireless headphones and earbuds just break when dropped or the audio quality would drop severely over time.

What’s a product that you recommend in the raycon price range skeem?
I don't know of many at that range. Most are either $40-$60 or $100 up. Not much in the midrange I've had experience with. Honestly almost anything by Skullcandy in the $35-$60 range will sound as good or better than these. Most people will be fine with Raycon's sound anyway, so might as well pay less and get the same if not more.
I got these once for 2 relatives and myself a cheaper wireless headset theirs broke in a year with mine going strong.

i cant even wear buds like that, they keep falling out of my ears. i even have a pair that wraps around the ear and they still even fall out. but they are connected by a cord so they dont hit the ground.

Raycons Are hot Garbage. I've had the E25 now for about 8 months and the right earbud just stopped charging. Before that they would randomly turn on, and randomly disconnect all the time. The Customer service also is absolutely terrible. There is no number to call, just email. then They send you a automated emails, saying they will get back to you and dont. Then they blow up your inbox with ads to buy more of their horrible products. Personally I would rate them a 3/10. Personally I'm probably at some point going to invest in Air Pod Pros, at least they have good customer service and better track record and easer to maintain.
Raid shadow legends, manscaped, Rraycon, and Ridge wallet are all the ones I see advertised through UA-cam and influencers so those are all the products I'd like to see or have you do... since you already did ridge wallets and raycon maybe do one on manscaped razors next? Idk sounds a little weird when you say it out loud but yeah I wonder at this point if any of these overshilled products are actually worth aa damn tbh...
The only thing I could say is I wish there was a pair of skullcandies in there somewhere just for comparison sake... just to kinda get a 2 for 1 on the opinion or heres an idea do one on a possible range of skull candy products cause that would be good too thanks for the video and I appreciate you being honest in the face of loss of potential revenue...
And only other thing is that I'd be able to forgive a slight reduction in sound quality but from the sounds of things even just purchasing them is a hassle all in itself and that to me is a major downer...

i use the samsung earbuds, shit sounds amazing and has a long battery life. been using them for years and only one of the buds has died past warrenty date

as a casual music listener I will say that I like my Raycons , I am unsure of the battery life of the other products you have showed but I might recharge my holding case every 2 weeks or so listening 1-3 hours a day

Honestly, they look really good.

Ok I have these and Raycons suck like they are horrible paid 79 $ and the sound quality is horrible. The right ear bud is louder than the left one and he’s right the sound overall is terrible. 3/10 Do not buy these earbuds. They are horrible
