Thank you for the honest review. It was a breath of fresh air and it prevented me from losing 80 dollars. Great video!
You earned my like for the great review, but you got my subscribe when you talked about sound quality. Any doubt about whether this video was sponsored or not was completely erased at 7:19. THANK YOU for an actual honest review! Such a rare thing on YT.
If you hold down on the button it goes into awareness mode and able to hear stuff. Still a good review I just wanted to say this
Have you actually tried these because I think the sound quality is fine. The base is anything but weak.
@@shawnsnow6413 comparing them to my 2nd gen airpods the sound quality is awful
@@i_is_piano1941 I would hope a $250 pair of earbuds would sound better, but you must be comparing a different generation than I have because mine sound great. They're not studio wired quality, but as far as the earbuds I've tried in the price range, they are great. They definitely have better(more) bass than airpods which is why I'm so confused about these bad reviews.
@@shawnsnow6413 The airpods i have are currently $99.99 on amazon, and you won’t know the quality you’re missing til you’ve experienced actual good quality. I used to have a 20$ pair of wireless earbuds and thought they sounded great, but once i tried airpods it was a world of difference
I should have watched this video before I ordered my pair 😅
Hopefully you have a better time! If not they have free returns
I watched 90% of the video and he was really talking them up. So I bought a pair, finished the video and immediately says "Sound sucks"....shit.
@@ericcarrizales9047 how did you find them after they arrived?
@@zokwandamayise1922 I really like them but at times it was a pain in the ass connecting them to my phone. But I found a little trick where they will connect right away. Imo not worth the $70 I paid. I give them maybe a 7/10
@@ericcarrizales9047 pretty decent then. I use super budget Skullcandys, but they reach all the frequencies and the base isn't loose. Would you say that they would be an upgrade for someone like me? Btw my earphones sound really good to me so don't bash🤣
Thanks for the review Ryan!! Much like you said, I have also seen a few of my YT channels do in person recommendations for these. I really do appreciate your non sponsored, thorough and honest review. You saved me from making a snap decision and buying a pair and you've gained a new subscriber. I'm okay with the corded headphones my iPhone 11 Pro came with (for now)...it just sucks when you have to charge the phone. ;-) Peace brother!!
Glad to hear it! I just posted a video yesterday actually about the oneplus Buds Z which I think are a much better value if you’re still looking for inexpensive wireless buds.
Thanks for the information. I almost bought a set of these and glad I did my research first.
The bass profile when you analyse the frequencies is extremely high actually. In fact many complained the original ones were to bassy so the new pro E25’s have a more balanced sound.
You should have way more subs. Great review. I went for the galaxy buds live because I like earphones that don't go deep in my ear canal
I remember watched my favorite UA-camr sponsored raycon yet whenever he videocalled people he never used that premium raycon, so I began to wonder why and how. Thanks for the review!
This might not have been the case a year ago, but they do have awareness mode so you can hear your surroundings. Also, the sound quality is pretty good, i have seen 2 reviews saying it’s terrible, but both was over a year ago, so it must have changed. Love the review! Great to hear other peoples opinions on these, i love the earbuds and i will be using them every day!
I agree the sound quality is so nice
Which pair do you have?
Glad to hear because i've just bought a pair without watching these reviews claiming they're not great!
$20 earbuds actually sounds pretty decent these days. The better sound is probably FAR better.
The awareness mode they do have is pretty hit and miss... It really depends on the voice of the person you're trying to hear whether you'll be able to hear them or not.
I love my everyday earbuds but one complaint: I can’t flick em open with one hand, I have to sue both. BUT, I’ve seen all my friends AirPods and AirPods Pro cases just open and an earbud fall out😂 so I guess it’s actually a really good thing. I’m glad that the magnetic hold is strong.
I was constantly losing my case and finally lost a bud recently, so just reordered. I’m partially deaf and only use one in my good ear while I work, so I guess all quality seems the same.
I have Soundcore life dot 2's and Skullcandy Indy evo's. These raycons are more comfortable and cancel noise by way of a perfect fit. They aren't tinny to my ears and I am also impressed with the bass response, so I have no idea where that's coming from.
i honestly find them fine for casual use like music. i think what makes people think they suck is because they have gotten used to the higher quality of other earbuds and think that they have to sound amazing to function well. ive never used anything like airpods so i find them pretty well sounding. I guess it depends on the person really
same, I've had mine for around 2 years and I've never had any complaints
This was helpful to me. I am that podcast listener - I am strapped for cash an don't listen to much music so sound quality is whatever. This review helped me feel more confident to try out raycon. Thanks!
I see these buds on UA-cam and Instagram and was considering buying a pair. Thanks for the review.
Im glad I watched this video and you went straight in on to the review. No intro or nothin. What turned me off the most is, the moment you said the bass was weak, I said NOPE. Not buying those. The kinds of music I listen to, sounds better with bass. Sound quality is very important to me. I find it very strange that I have bought a pair of wired headphones from family dollar for $5 dollars but the sound quality was excellent but my Beats by Dre wireless headphones, have weak bass and sound quality. Which I paid close to $300 at the time when the Beats was still new product before he sold it to another company and the rest is history. Yeah, so thank you for going straight to the point and you made sure you didn't leave nothing out.
Maybe you should try them for yourself because the ones I own have great bass response. If you set it to base mode it's almost too much to be honest.
Been looking for some new ones for months. Thanks for the review. You seem to want the same thing out of buds as me.
On Friday I’m having a oneplus buds z video. Those are a much better value
Just watched this video after receiving my pair of Raycons and first I will say is awesome review, but I think they must have made some changes since this video was made. I tried sticking the earbuds to the outside of the case and couldn't do it, lol, but the audio quality isn't bad at all. There are 3 different audio profiles and all of them sound great. What does suck is pushing them into your ear to press the button, but I do like that better than touch controls. Your pinch method is just as awkward, but I've been pressing the button near the top of my ear to avoid shoving it into my ear canal. Again, great review but I'd be interested to see what exactly they changed since then.
So are they worth it?
@@alicZd I would say that they are. I've been using them pretty regularly for a few hours most days and they have done the job quite well. I've owned a lot of cheap knockoff Bluetooth earbuds and these are definitely better than any of that.
@@airlynx99 thanks man
I just got a pair today and I’m really confused why both reviews I’ve seen are saying the sound quality is terrible. Mine seem to sound pretty good to me. I have the e25s. I really just got on UA-cam to learn all the intricacies of them and this and another review popped up so I watched them and both said they sound awful. All I can say is mine sound good. Maybe not great but definitely good and way better than my wired Sony head phones I had before
I hate to prove you wrong but the audio quality is measurably terrible with so much bass that it totally overpowers the mids and highs ruining the song
You are amazing, thanks for the video, it helped a lot. I subscribed
Great review. I'm super picky about sound quality so this was super helpful. Thanks!
I absolutely LOVE my raycons. The sound is incredible. All highs and lows with no mids.
Touch controls work just fine. Just depends on the earbud you're talking about. Allot cheap no name earbuds have touch controls that are too sensitive or just don't work right. But name brands usually have touch controls that work fine. My Panasonic and JBL earbuds have good touch controls. They register my commands properly 95% of the time.
Thank you for your honesty!
i saw you're video and i was like "this is porperly just one of those big youtube channels with like over a million subs" and i was really shocked to see that you only had 1.500 subs BTW my english is not that good cuz' i'm from denmark. But keep up the good work
Bro, your English is pretty damn good for being from Denmark. I wouldn't have ever known had you not mentioned it. Good shit man.
I'm only responding because you said that you don't think your English is good. The only things I saw that if I was being a grammar nazi I would mention is the following:
Properly not properly.
Because or 'cause instead of cuz' (where I live "cuz" is often used as "cousin" and then also towards friends that are very close, like they are your cousin).
A few lowercase letters where uppercase should be, and some uppercase where it should be lowercase.
I've personally seen more mistakes from people correcting other people on their grammar. The fact that you're native tongue is not English, you should be very proud of your English skills, especially considering it's just a you tube comment section.
Your English is exceptional! I have heard that English is even harder to learn for foreigners than even Japanese. I only speak English so I wouldn't know but with the same word and different spellings like there, their and they're or two, to and too, as well as all different rules for spelling like "i before e except after c" I could imagine it would be very confusing and difficult to learn. May I ask how long you have been studying English for? If you are still studying, you really hould praise your teacher!
Your English is better than most.
Damn, so basically - they suck..
Well at least they tried to take on the big boys.. good for them

For people like me who aren't snobby audiophiles with more money than sense, I am quite impressed with these earbuds. Music on my iPhone sounds fuller than the previous earbuds I had, and has also replaced the earbuds I previously used on my Switch.
I've heard people say Raycons are overrated, but it's pretty damn good for $80.
No it's not. Galaxy Buds Plus/Pro are better for cheaper. Raycon is effectively an overpriced earbud with a lot of advertising money
Watch dankpod's video
the galaxy buds+ or even the galaxy buds2 can often be found for just a bit more, or even the same price on amazon, and they are going to be ridiculously good compared to raycons, with actual premium sound quality, and with the buds2, active noise cancelling. and "snobby audiophiles" aren't going to be buying airpods, or galaxy buds, or anything like that. for a similar price (maybe 20-30$ more, or if you don't mind getting the international versions with a more limited warranty you can get them for the same price), galaxy buds are going to be insanely good in comparison, and value. it's really something that you just can't truly see/hear until you've actually tried a set of quality earbuds.
I don’t see $80 as being that cheap. You can get last gens AirPods for that which is infinitely better. These should be like 40.
Hi, I'm your new follower from Brazil and I just love your channel.
Your reviews are good, you can speak directly and you can bring a lot of information about the product. I know your channel is new so keep working on it, I see you very big in the future! Good luck!
like how TF do you only have 1.500 subs
Thanks for this honest review. You are the 6th review I’ve watched on UA-cam and I just cancelled my Amazon order for this Raycon everyday earbuds.
Dude. Thank you. Was close to buying Raycon Fitness buds after my Pixel Bud Pros kept falling out of ears on subway. Appreciate the save. Still need to find a pair that fit :(
yeah im thinking of buying em thanks for the help :)
They must have changed the way they are made because the case has a little nitch for you finger to grip, now it still doesn't stay open super well, and the sound quality has improved quite a bit and I love the bass (I'm a bass head) and I don't hear the ticking you described
I bought these and at first they were amazing. But after a month one of the buds wasn’t as loud as the other I swapped to skull candy and have had them for months and preform much better
Skullcandy is definitely better. Right now I'm just using the Skullcandy Crusher Wireless and they're really good
yeah if you dont clean your earbuds the screen in them is probably disgusting and literally youre entire issue
@@Caleldir nah I keep my ear buds clean it didn’t work lol
bro I bought these wired skullcandy earbuds for like 10 bucks at target and they lasted for like 6 years before finally dying
Had that happen, easy fix
clean your buds >_>
and i mean, deep clean. replace the little circle net if you have any spares, i keep some just for this, they get disgusting and dont work right after a few weeks unless you deep clean em. as bad as the sound quality is, they'll last forever and keep making sound if you take care of em. literally got mine ran over, stepped on, kicked, submerged, and otherwise beaten and they work fine. wont buy them again, theyve got walmart sound, but not something i regret either
I couldnt agree more. I was using E25's for like 2 years and they were fantastic, lost them, and bought these. Cool case, amazing fit, terrible audio. Sad that newer ones are worse
right? i feel like my old raycons sound way better than my new ones.. i just bought my new ones and im so so disappointed. they sound absolutely terrible and its so sad
im thinking honestly of returning them, but not sure if ill be able to since i dont have the box they came in because i was traveling at the time and had to leave the box to save space.
edit: the raycons have 3 different sound profiles and they all sound terrible except for the "bass sound" profile. the bass one is actually listenable and not bad, i've decided im going to keep them and not return them because my old raycons are so old they are falling apart quite literally (the case is split in half and some other stuff thats hard to explain). i also really like the new case and "awareness mode", aswell as the charger that came with it since i lost the original charger for my old raycons and have been using some old usb charger my grandma gave me. i think its pretty dumb that it has a notch for tying it on stuff like your backpack because it just makes it easy to break since it's exposed, and easy to get stolen. all in all its an alright product and honestly my old raycons sound better but ill use the new ones cause they're not that bad
What is the best that you would recommend. Sound quality is important
This review has been so helpful. They’re on my Christmas list & I’m so glad to learn about the pinch & press because my ears are sensitive
This is how u make a review , no biased just truth . Sub and likes ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for being honest. I have enough of those paid reviews from 90% of youtubers, some of them prising product because they been paid to do this, some do that just because they got free product. The youtube is flooded with those reviews...and im talking about top reviewers who are saying their review is unbiased, which is a joke.
I have exactly same opinion about those earbuds, unfortunately they aren't good at all.
I just found another nice earbuds "Donner Dobuds ONE" they aren't without flaws, but they sound phenomenal, especially for the price is just a killer. Would be great to hear your opinion about them.
You earned another subscriber. Thank you
Love the review great B roll too good channel just got my sub keep it up man. what state you from?
Wisconsin woot
Mine work great during the day but even at full charge turn off during the night I like to listen to audiobooks to help me sleep but after 6 hours they stop working. Am I damaging the earbud by sleeping on my side?
So is the sport model with the fins that go in your ear unnecessary? It seems more uncomfortable but says they stay in better.
I was thinking of gifting a pair to my wife. Maybe not after the video. Thanks for the unbiased review. Side note, dig the bioshock tattoos!
I’ve recently bought these and as for the pressing of the button, it isn’t uncomfortable nor does it hurt for me and it doesn’t push into my ear so I would say that depends on the person’s ear shape
Great Review!
I received my E25s today. Been trying them out now for 5 hours. Great functionality. Sound quality not so much. My $20 Sony wired ear buds sound MUCH better. Going to send them back.
Well done review man thank you!!! I know what I must do🇨🇦
Almost ordered these thanks for this saved me!!!!!
Thank you for the review saved me money.
superbly done review.
Doin some research cause I’m finally deciding to invest in a pair of wireless earbuds. I was almost sold on the comfort thing, but I’m glad I watched the whole video! 😅😅😅
I was so close to buying them then I saw your review. Thank you.
Bruh they are insane with the bass you just need to get the gamer earbuds or new everyday earbuds. They are really damn good.
yeah I'm getting the everyday earbuds so hopefully it will sound good.
But they aren’t the everyday e 25 ray on earbuds with a 32 battery life and an 8 hour playtime, right?
Another upside of the button is that you can control them right through a hood or scarf, or even using your knuckles, say, for when your hands are wet. Downside: a tight scarf or hood will work them out of your ears over time.
When I'm pressing the button I push it up so as it doesn't push into my ear canal
Was VERY happy o learn they have buttons
I lost one of my JBL Tune 120TWS earbuds (the left one-so I can still use the right one...if you lose the right one you're screwed)
Not happy to hear about the sound quality
Would you say the Skullcandy mod xts are better than raycon
I have a pair of raycon everyday e25 earbuds(being specific cause it might be relevant) that i have had for probably over 4 months now and they have just ran into a problem that has happened multiple times now. The sound in the left earbud is now louder than the right earbud. This has happened once before with the e25 and once with a pair of JBL tunes or whatever they are called. I have looked all over and i cannot find anyone else who has had a similar problem or a fix for the issue.
My current suspicion for why this has happened is that i used them and fell asleep, one earbud ran out of battery and i somehow changed the volume and it affected the other earbud, then that one died. Outside of crappy manufacturing i don't know how else it could have happened.
Also, i tried two separate pairs of their pro earbuds and both times the same side had a constant whirring sound that was really annoying. It is either crappy manufacturing or they just sent the same earbuds back to me when i returned the first pair.
I’ve got the everyday ray con they updated it and the spuriously have good base and sound
As someone who has used Galaxy buds and Airpods, I've really liked the soundcore earbuds from Anker
I love honesty
I really like the quality, they are perfect for me. I think they've improved.
Thanks for this honest review. Honestly I would still buy these but not at the pricepoint.
aren’t they a 1 year warranty so if the sound quality is bad you can get your money back can’t you? I bought these a couple days ago and I’m waiting for them. little bummed about the sound thing.
Appreciated the comprehensive review. A couple of points. I've just ordered my second pair of these. Raycon has frequent sales and each of my two pair have cost under $50.00. I listen to music, podcasts and phone calls while on long walks. I love music to me the audio on Raycon is much more positive. I find the sound very listenable and I don't want a tremendous amount of bass (personal reasons) so these fit my profile perfectly. They are exceedingly comfortable and at the discounted price I am more than satisfied.
really? i just reeceived mine and i am EXTREMELY disappointed by the sound quality. i have never had any earphones with worse sound quality than this. they are extremely tinny.
@@jurgnobs1308 It's possible that for some people maybe higher frequencies are easier to hear.
Maybe I have a newer version but the sound quality is way better than my kingston hyperx cloud bluetooth, which was about $250 and they are cup over the ear style.
I agree with everything you said except the sound quality imo is 9/10
I'm thinking about ordering these. How would you compare the sound quality of these to basic apple wire earbuds.
Worse
I’d get the one plus buds z instead. Much better quality and price in my experience
@@TechSpaceCowboy Thanks. I am looking for something that won't fall out while I run. Will the one plus buds work? Any suggestions.
The sound quality is good. I have a pair plus you can hold down the left button for about 2 seconds and it changes sound modes. I use the bass sound the bass is sooo good
If you adjust your thumb behind your ear when you press the raycon button it is more comfortable
Really weak bass? That’s only on the pure eq. On balance and Bass eq their is all the bass you need. Did you check those out?
Honestly I have them and I think they work amazing but this video is like 9 months old so I don't know if it's improved or not
I'm gonna use these for listening to books at work, so these are pretty much perfect for me sounds like. I just need volume for listening to frodo otw to Mordor and samwise hating on shady ass gollum
Bass is amazing with bass mode, even while riding my 1800cc bike over 60mph during a windy day, with a cut helmet, it was wonderful. Idk what youre talking about "bad quality". Maybe at the time of your review, they didnt have the bass mode.
Why bass? Always bass. Do you only listen to EDM and bassy stuff? Bass doesnt sound like a word anymore.
The sound quality i had no issue i just put it on balance mode and its perfect i would compare it the sound quality to a base airpod
9/2022 bought a pair. Only one bud worked. Upon trouble shooting, this is a COMMON problem........WTH ! I returned them.
I watched your video while wearing them.... Idk what your talking about on the quality. Are you using and iphone? I'm using and s10 and the sound adjustment is key. Airpod pro to me suck ass when compared to the adjustment on raycon
I used both an iPhone, windows pc, and Google pixel 4a 5g when I was testing these
I have funny shaped ear canals, no ear pod has ever been more comfortable than these. Even AirPods Pro fall out, and make my ears hurt. I love them
What do u think about Bose? I really want to a good pair of wireless buds....
Bose makes amazing over ear headphones but they lag behind in the wireless portable realm from what I’ve been able to tell. The big companies have a leg up in this one. The Galaxy buds pro were pretty damn good. Nothing has quite matched AirPods Pro yet that I’ve tried.
@@TechSpaceCowboy I work as a sound tech salesman and sell AirPods, Bluetooth speakers speaker systems etc. Bose are fantastic at everything besides inside the ear buds. Their earbuds aren’t bad, they just look bad compared to the rest of their products. Which are amazing. There are plenty of better ear buds out there. Personally I use the AirPod pros, imo they just can’t be beat. The price is ridiculous but my manager ordered a few extra so I got them real cheap, if you’re looking for a good budget earbud plenty of JBL earbuds work very well
Edit: btw great video. Honestly reviewing common sponsors is a gold mine for content. Keep it up.
Yes I do understand that you like them but when you order them do they scam you or not? Also would you recommend the gaming airpods and can you talk to people on a PlayStation 4 and hear alright.
I like them…?
@@TechSpaceCowboy would you recommend the gaming airpods for someone that likes to talk to people on there PlayStation? for there price?
6:27 The most important part for me is the sound quality and the basic axim of life (although not strictly always!) Is 'You get what you pay for) and I am not surprised that the first descriptive words out of the gate was 'Sh*t*ty) Thank you. took 6 and a half minutes to get there but so glad once at this point in the Vid you just said it as it was (in your experience and also expectation) Just a 'do over' of a cheap brand knocking them out at half the price but without the hype ( allegedly) gotta keep those Raycon lawyers happy (or not!)
Everyone’s always reviewing the E25s but I can never find a video for the E55 since that’s what I have.
I mainly made this video for those who have been pitched the “high quality audio for $79” bit on UA-cam
The bass is great for me whenever I activate the bass option. And also if you hold the button for the right, there’s noise canceling and environment awareness.
Thanks for the review! I think I'll still consider them as airpods hurt my ears (I think because of the lack of variety of size and shape) so I don't have many options
I clicked on you video because I just bought a new case for my e25. I’m wondering if they changed something about the headphones. I wonder if you got a bad pair or if you need to change the ear piece. My head phones have a good bass sound to them. No nothing like a good home theater but if my house was a 8-9 out of 10 the head phones are 7-8. A 10 would be going to a concert. Anyway if you think these sound tinnie then I need to try the apple pros.
Yeah it’s been quite a while since this video so it’s very possible we got different products entirely
I believe they changed them.. the controls are press right ear button once turns the volume up, left one press volume down, double press to skip or reverse, hold right for noise cancelation hold left to change sound profile normal, bass heavy, perfect audio. Bass is almost too much. To be fair I think you should review the new ones. They Are also more water resistant it's 6 whatever rating instead of 4.
I have some wireless earbuds that show you exactly the percentage of the battery case and it tells ypu how much battery the left and right earbuds have
That’s sick. What kind/ brand?
@@TechSpaceCowboy TWS
@@TechSpaceCowboy they are good but kinda bassey and little sub bass i think
I actually like them. They could definitely be improved. What about losing them ( no tracking/ gps)
The new everyday has an awareness mode
I agree completely with your review. The sound quality didn’t do it for me. Great concept, sound wasn’t there for me..
I got mine 2 weeks ago they are good high quality
I don‘t know why people complain about them. I got them a few days ago and i really like them. They are a good fit and the sound quality is good as well.
My Everyday buds fall out often. And the case hinge broke after a few weeks. They sound good, but I've never owned other brands for comparison.
Soundcore Life Dot 2.
Great earbuds. Sound quality is much better.
If you hold down the right earbud there is an awareness mode so you can hear things outside of the earbuds
Maybe the performance Version is different but the sound is great on mine bass included. But I also have only had them for a week. I'll come back with an update at a month
Please do! I’m curious
@@TechSpaceCowboy only 4 days later and the right side headphone will no longer charge in the case so I'm down a headphone. Which makes sense as it had also already started to fade out. So If your okay with paying $120 for 1 headphone after having them for a week then yeah. These are a great buy.
Got e25’s on sale for $64. For me personally they work perfectly. Im not a sound buff so that’s not a big deal for me and the feel is perfect for me. I also don’t mind the cheap feel I actually like it in a way. Plus if they break it’s fairly cheap so 🤷
Or you could have spent $10 and got the same results, minus let's say, wireless charging.
Look and Soundcore products for example, you get ANC on them for around $50, and amazing sound quality.
These are a scam product.
My raycons always cut out when it's just in my pocket
How's the microphone? The one thing I was interested in...
It was Meh. On par with the galaxy buds. I wouldn’t use it outside if it can be avoided.
To your comments about not realizing your AirPods weren’t charging. Did you know if you have the battery widget on your iPhone it’ll show you the battery level on the case and tell you if it’s charging? You can also tell if the AirPods are in the case properly because the icon for each airpod will disappear when it’s in the case.
Yeah but for 2-3x the price I’d prefer to not look at my phone every time I put them on a wireless charger
There website says there is a pass through audio mode...
The sound is great, at first I was using it wrong
I don't have any of these problems with the sound but these are the only ones I have bought though so I guess I just don't know.
