  • After exposing the truth behind Raycons, the company reached out to me. They assured me this new Raycon Pro lineup resolved everything. So did it? This video is a review of the new Raycon E55 Pro and E25 Pro based on my own honest testing and experience.

    Additional review notes:
    COMFORT:
55 Pro are actually really nice. I like the fit, light weight, and sturdiness
55 Buttons are STIFF and annoying
25 are much lighter yet, but not comfortable
    SOUND QUALITY:
    55 Pro - Unbelievably muddy
Tight staccato bass isn’t a thing with these buds
    Poor clarity
Over emphasis on bass (which isn’t even good bass)
Dull mids with bloated profile overall
    Poor instrument separation
    Cymbals are completely drowned out
    No equalizer :(
If you know nothing about audio quality, these will sound fine to you.
A definite improvement over the regular 55s
    No EQ app
E25 Pro - Much more balanced than 55s, but not good
    Bass is removed
    Big sound hits are dull
The balance is better but it is hard to say what is wrong with the sound because there is very little right with it. No instrument separation, no spacial, over emphasis on upper mids
Some drums sound more like crackling than drums.
Overall trash audio quality. Even if you know nothing about audio quality, these will sound probably sound bad to you
    CONCLUSION:
The 55 Pro would be a solid pair of earbuds if they were $50. $70 at most. They have a lot of nice features and specs but lack sound quality, an app for customizations, and convenient controls. These are compromises that completely eliminate them from the conversation of best earbuds. If your only goal is to get rid of your wires, you know nothing about audio, and you already ordered these, you will be happy with them. If you have not yet ordered them, there are earbuds that sound much better for the price
The 25 Pro are not pro at all. They changed a few things but these are still worth $25 at best. If you’re on a budget, just get the JLab Go Air for $20. If you want to spend $80, get the Galaxy Buds (original). I would just not get these

To be honest, your video and all these comments really surprise me. I've heard a few bad things about Raycon, yet decided to try the fitness earbuds for myself. Frankly I don't see what all the fuss is about, they have great noise isolation(passive noise cancelling) and great sound, which can be switched between perfect, bass or balanced sound. I usually leave it at balanced and I think they sound great. The battery life is impressive, I only charge them approximately once a week, they have a great fit if you bother choosing the right attachments for your ear. They are cheap in comparison to others and I've had them for 1 year+ and still work just fine. If the fitness earbuds had ANC, they would definitely be my personal go to earbuds for any occasion.

I bought the E25 pros recently at 20% off, so for like 64 bucks. I think they're fine for that price, but I don't think I would recommend them at full price. I play the drums and I was really looking for some wireless headphones to use for playing. I don't mind the bass, but I definitely feel I could've gone with another brand and would've been more satisfied. I'll probably keep the E25 pros, but I may invest in some other wireless headphones for playing drums and just use the E25 Pros for casual use only.

So not much has changed, made for portability and listening to music as background noise. Which is what the majority of these types of earbuds are made for. As far as an app to EQ (which sounds like there is no need to do with these any way), there are music player apps with EQ's built in that you can do that with.

alright so, the weekend is over and i have my review on the raycon 25's; so i am moving from the apple airpods (i think the first generation) my main issue with the airpods was the battery length.
so my biggest issue being battery length.. raycon destroy that obviously
the build is great, in a world of masks you are able to just rip the mask off and they wont catch and pull the plugs out.
the multiple plastic pieces they send you allow it to fit multiple ear sizes, though i would of loved to seen a better flexible plastic piece to better block the sound
audio quality, im the last person to really be able to talk on this.. doubt ive ever really heard good quality sound. that being said, i agree the low end is muddled a little but not that badly. granted a lot of the music i listen is on the low end with drums and death growls. the high end i didnt notice any issues, the symbols sounded like symbols and the voice quality was good.
so if you are looking for good quality audio, i will say this probably still isnt your choice.. but if youre like me and dont know good quality from ok quality then this could work well enough especially if they continue giving the 20% (i believe) discount, which fits nicely into upgrading the delivery time.

I just replaced 2 pairs of Jlabs that I cycled between daily for battery life and ive owned exclusivly $20 to $30 buds with ambigouse origins for years and these Raycons are not comparable to any of them, they are much better. I prefer the tactile button 1000x compared to touch buttons on my cheaper pairs my only complaint it that to pause audio you have to push twice instead of once which controls volume on them instead. I set volume on the phone so the only time I ever touch them in my ears is to pause audio and I would prefer that to be a one touch and volume be hold down, click thirty three times, hire someone to run to my phone, or something else less immediate. I often need to kill audio abruptly and this leaves me with pulling it out of my ear bc it's faster than clicking the volume up and then realizing I have to click twice and oops too late I missed that important information what's his face was saying forever so I hope what ever it was will go away on it's own and not interrupt my podcast ever again. 🙃

The left earbud doesnt receive any audio and the right one does but i can tell the audio isnt that great. Honestly pretty dissapointed with my E25's. I'm just gonna ask for my money back.

    Hey Mike,
Not to disrespect or disagree with you, but, there is a saying: “you can’t always get what you want”. Everyone is different, somethings may be perfect for one person, however not for the others! Instead of telling us that there are better sounding quality earbuds than Raycons, name a few brands that you would recommend that is better sound quality. I would like to know!!!

    • @Browncoatful
      @Browncoatful 2 роки тому +2

I don't think this is an issue of "its just not for me" but more its not worth the price. The people that claim they like this much bass likely have never heard good earbuds or headphones that are good at bass. Honestly I think Raycon banked on people just not knowing better as having a statement of "affordable but high quality" is very attractive to people who do not own more high quality products to know better. Not only is there an issue but sound but they don't off near the features that competing earbuds, like Galaxy Buds Plus, offer. you are better off taking your $120 and putting that to Buds Plus/Pro or just Airpods pro. If you are gonna spend your $120 at least make it worth it and nothing Raycon offers is worth that cost.

I have the Jabra 65ts and the ONLY thing I don't like about them is that if I only use one bud, it can only be the right one. I just received a set of raycon E25s (12/18/21) and have to say i think they updated them again.. the sound quality is far better than you give them credit for as well as they have added 3 sound profiles (EQ) to the buds. the bass on my set is not interfering with highs or mids, no garbled mix of tones. the mic is still not good though. and for the price point, i think they are one of the best options, i got mine on sale for $69 and an additional discount through my payment method.. ultimately paying $29 for my set.

Also endorsement from those celebs, well money talks and right ppl for the right amount will say anything i guess.

So miss 3.5 mm jack option on phones separate port because I do dislike having to charge another device. Seriously hate it.
But, I appreciated your review on these to even the company seeking to improve. Even if it's drop ship seems they are customizing attempting to correct problems I hated my Samsung galaxy buds so much. So much.
And I didn't feel the hype from those sponsored were trustworthy enough to take a chance. Liked you demonstrated the sound in the previous video it sucked. Haven't completely watched this one just wanted to say the video was appreciated before this on.
Really wish the mobile phones had kept the 3.5 mm jack option. As a back up.
