Doppler effect:
The classic example of the Doppler effect is a locomotive sounding its horn as it passes a nearby listener. As the engine approaches, the wavelength of the sound is compressed and consequently increased in pitch; as it passes the listener and advances into the distance beyond, the wavelength is stretched and the pitch drops. As the locomotive passes, the result is the familiar Waa-ooo effect
Something similar happens when a loudspeaker diaphragm reproduces a sound. While the diaphragm is moving toward the listener, the frequency of the radiated sound increases; as it moves away, the frequency decreases.
That's why, medium and high frequencies will be always a little distorted or not accurate in 1 speaker only iem. Expecially when you request him to produce a lot of basses that increase movement of the speaker (basses make the speaker move slowly but with a long excursion, the medium and the highs let him quieter, that's why you can see a subwoofer moving and not the tweeter).
Solutions:
-3 way items as sharur advice
-Or if for budget reasons you have to stay with one speaker, you'll better chose one with less basses, it will move less and probably you'll obtain also a more efficient/dynamic sound ( usually a long excursion speaker is less efficient so you need more power to drive it .each 3db of efficiency more, you need half power to obtain the same sound level!!!! So when you read 105 dB is many many times demanding power against a 118 db).
That's why, probably, the perceived risolution of tanchim oxigen 2 is higher than Hana 2021. Hana is tuned to give more basses at the expense of the highs risolution!!!

Thank you so much for this video! I bought a pair of so called "high quality" earbuds a while back, but the bass was just disgustingly high. I was curious about Raycons, but it seems that they also fool people who think that good sound quality = tons of bass. I would REALLY like to know if there are actually good earbuds that you can recommend?

Try downloading the flat equaliser app then turn the 32/60/125/250 sliders all the way to the bottom, and reduce the last three sliders by 5db

I remember having a pair a cheaper headphones breat on me, so i bought a cheap pair at the gas station to cover til i looked up a decent cheap pair online. I thought they sounded fine, until the buds only 10 bucks more came in, and suddenly those gas station buds sounded like static.
Your average listeners/youtubers are probably picking these up and thinking they sound just fine, not knowing how much better it gets, especially at that price, with not much better to compare too

dude, i've returned theses things five times. they deliver what they promise, but NOTHING else. they cannot remain in sync and eventually lose volume in one or both buds. absolute garbage. at least the customer service for returns is good

I dunno about the buds, but I bought a pair of raycon headphones once. The audio was shit, the mic was shit, and the speakers were playing literal static within a couple months. I’ve bought 15 dollar skullcandy earbuds that sound better than raycon.
Funny thing is that Skullcandy's cheaper stuff often sounds better than their more "premium" stuff

The sound quality really isn't that bad, the problem is that they desync so often so you have to restart them. The problem with that is they sometimes have trouble turning off lol.

@Sharur I think so. People who listen to hip hop and shit pretty much only care about bass. You give them headphones with too much bass and they'll think they're perfect. There's a reason these same people put giant subs in their car where the only thing you can hear is "thwomp thwomp thwomp".

I Have Raycons Everything is pretty good about them except for the sound quality the sound has a lot of bass and not as much highs as other earbuds.

I have raycon earbuds. Worst ever. Requires 5 minutes of resets for it to work. And this exercise is required every time. Every every every time. Joke shop /Temu quality earbuds. Cannot recommend.
