    This Doctor is a wonderful human being. I just turned 50 years old and have try to follow all his advise. I only eat once a day and pay close attention to my sugar and salt intake. My wife gets frustrated because it takes me twice as long when we go shopping. My wife is only 36 so I tell her that I want to be around for her as long as possible for her and our kids. She drinks Diet Coke everyday but I am trying to help her drink more water instead. Her generation have been brainwashed for instant gratification. I am also a part time gym instructor so I am sharing Dr. Pradips wonderful talks on you tube. All the way from the North Of Ireland were I live, I thank you Dr for possibly saving my life. God bless you.

    Thank you Dr. J, I watch your lecture last week and I started to change my diet. I have reactive hypoglycemia and I couldn't figure out why eating the recommended 5 times a day was making me feel worse! I am reducing my carbs every day since, eating 3 times per day and cut out the processed food. I feel better 5 days in.

    I'm 53, started fasting 1 meal a day for the first 2 weeks.. Then went to fasting 2 meals a day for 2 weeks. Now I eat every 24 to 30hrs, depending on how I feel. I lost 6kg, so far. Looking at healthy eating more then weight loss. The most difficult thing is still bread, to be honest. So, because of my work hrs, I looking and trying to stay to, 1 meal every 30 hrs. I was 118kg, down to 112kg in 6 weeks. Goal weight is 95kg.. I'll just keep going till I hit my 95kg..Maybe in the next 6 months, I'll get there.. I have faith.. Ta..

    Question below as well if you have a moment. 🙏Dr. J, one suggestion. Suggest to vocalize the questions for those who are listening only (such as on walk.). Great info as always.
    If you have time, I am curious as to the damage to proper insulin response eating corn fed meat in relation to the other 3 factors you cite (carb intake, seed oil and metabolic syndrome I believe are the others). I find it very hard to find grass finished beef and I live in agriculture area believe it or not. Also, is grass fed only beef a waste then? Thanks! Love the education and your zest for sharing with your growing audience!

    I am so happy to have found Dr. Pradip Jamnadas's lectures, I am writing you here and on his youtube channel. Can you please do a lecture completely on the importance of toddler's/children's healthy lifestyle and nutritional needs? I am trying so hard to have my parents (daytime caregivers) understand true health and to know that my toddler should not be eating processed foods, especially on a daily basis! Please help!

    I very much appreciate your intelligent and thoughtful videos. I believe you are absolutely right when you argue that the real problem is more the added sugars and hyper processed foods ( especially the seed oils) .And that high insulin and inflammation are the biggest problems to correct. Have you read Masteriing Diabetes ( Khambatta ,Barbaro) and specifically chapter 7 on the argument that ntercellular fat being the root cause of insulin resistance....If you agree or not I would very much like to hear your take on this concept.

    Hi Doc. I'm a health coach and I have seen the balance of hormone at play with many of my clients. While I understand the interplay of insulin, steroids, and glucagon, I'm unable to understand the mechanism through which high insulin levels increase thyroid hormones. Do you suggest that high insulin leads to hyperthyroidism? We've been breaking our minds over this 😅

    Dr. J;
    I’m confused!!!!!. When the doctors sends you for a lab draw which includes : An A1C and a fasting glucose , and these come back elevated and your put on Metformin. PLEASE Advise WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS I need to take with my doctor in regards to follow up labs??? Is it a lab draw for INSULIN LEVELS???? I’ve watched several ( not all ) of your videos and this is not thoroughly explained. I’ve cut sugar , processed food, and setting a routine bedtime. I’ve lost 10 pounds ( 145⬇️ 135!)
    Please- Please-Please see this message and answer.
    ** I’ve been told this is a genetic problem, I’ve been told it’s a metabolic issue. Try glove rides and cholesterol are high. Getting labs redrawn tomorrow. Curious to see my numbers!! Thank you Dr. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

      Per his other videos: Build up. Start by passing on a meal a day, then work up to only one meal a day. The idea is for you ti get used to your body in a fasting state. Then 24h 2x a week. It’s basically whatever you can tolerate. If you are comfortable with longer fasts early, go for it. Preferably Build up after cutting carbohydrates. He says any amount of fasting is beneficial vs none at all.
