Day three of intermittent fasting. I left my wallet at home a few days ago, so I couldn't eat at work, and discovered this world of fasting almost by accident. I've learned I can go 20 hours or more, and actually have more energy! That's the paradox most people do not and will not believe. I have gone from almost falling asleep in my chair to having all kinds of energy and focus in the afternoon.
Today I am going for 24 hours. Keep up the good work everyone!

I have been sugar free for nearly a month now and have also cut out about 99% of the flour intake which includes breads pastas, etc. Within one week I dropped 9 pounds. I believe the majority of that was water retention from inflammation. I saw a noticeable difference in my face . The puffiness was shrinking away and my face and skin just looked better. Prior to doing this my entire body ached. Every joint ached and every muscle was tired. My pain has dramatically decreased. I am convinced sugar and processed food is the culprit. I almost instantly noticed the difference. I am fascinated by what this doctor says because I believe it is so truthful and spot on what we need to be doing.

      1. What he is a simplification because what he is lecturing leaves out the trans fats that are coming from processed food which are a factor.
      2. These four: Fructose, trans fats, branch chain amino acids and alcohol. Each one of these four contribute to fatty liver and visceral fat. This explains why skinny people can be just as sick as fat people. It is not genetic; diabetes is caused by diet and mitochondrial, metabolic sickness.

She said she eats once a day with frequent fasting days. Went for angiogram and they didn’t find anything wrong with her vessels. From my memory I think it ended up being pericarditis. But one thing I still remember very well is when the interventional cardiologist came in to see her after the procedure she was quite anxious and asked was there anything wrong in the angiogram and the cardiologist replied exactly this - “There is nothing wrong with your vessels. I do not know what you do but your vessels looked like that of a 20 year old”.

I also combined the IF with a ketogenic diet that I'm planning to follow for a couple of month, I really would like to know the possible pros and cons of this combination. Right now I'm feeling overall better and in a month blood analysis will tell me more. Started this journey cause despite any diet or calory restriction I was (as doc said) "skinny with belly fat" and also had HDL deficiency. I really felt he was describing me while watching his videos, everything suggested that I was hormonally imbalanced. The most exciting result by now are lowered belly fat, reduced almost to zero chronic hand hyperhidrosis (thank god it was so embarrassing), reduced hunger and better lucidity in the whole day.

Within 1 month I was off all meds, and lost about 30 lbs. The insatiable hunger was gone. 10 months later I lost my goal of 180 lbs. All I did for exercise was a 30 min walk per day. Because I was relatively thin, I thought my carb-loaded diet was ok, but blood markers in annual physicals kept getting worse, so something had to change. Going low-carb high fat was the answer, and I lost 15# of fat I didn’t know I had, and reversed prediabetes. Why did it take until age 55 to learn what should have been taught in elementary school??

I have been watching Dr. Jamnadas's videos for a couple of weeks and have illuminated sugar and simple carbs from my diet along with alcohol. I'm also doing intermittent fasting. I wake up now without hunger and feeling great. It is a blessing.
