Day three of intermittent fasting. I left my wallet at home a few days ago, so I couldn't eat at work, and discovered this world of fasting almost by accident. I've learned I can go 20 hours or more, and actually have more energy! That's the paradox most people do not and will not believe. I have gone from almost falling asleep in my chair to having all kinds of energy and focus in the afternoon.
Today I am going for 24 hours. Keep up the good work everyone!

I have been sugar free for nearly a month now and have also cut out about 99% of the flour intake which includes breads pastas, etc. Within one week I dropped 9 pounds. I believe the majority of that was water retention from inflammation. I saw a noticeable difference in my face . The puffiness was shrinking away and my face and skin just looked better. Prior to doing this my entire body ached. Every joint ached and every muscle was tired. My pain has dramatically decreased. I am convinced sugar and processed food is the culprit. I almost instantly noticed the difference. I am fascinated by what this doctor says because I believe it is so truthful and spot on what we need to be doing.

      1. What he is a simplification because what he is lecturing leaves out the trans fats that are coming from processed food which are a factor.
      2. These four: Fructose, trans fats, branch chain amino acids and alcohol. Each one of these four contribute to fatty liver and visceral fat. This explains why skinny people can be just as sick as fat people. It is not genetic; diabetes is caused by diet and mitochondrial, metabolic sickness.

Really a fantastic lecture. I am glad I found this on UA-cam. My former neighbour's son has always liked lots of veggies but no fruits. So when I found out that fruits are overrated and I told his grandma about it, he was listening (5 years old) and said "See, grandma, I have always know why I don't like eating fruits.".

She said she eats once a day with frequent fasting days. Went for angiogram and they didn’t find anything wrong with her vessels. From my memory I think it ended up being pericarditis. But one thing I still remember very well is when the interventional cardiologist came in to see her after the procedure she was quite anxious and asked was there anything wrong in the angiogram and the cardiologist replied exactly this - “There is nothing wrong with your vessels. I do not know what you do but your vessels looked like that of a 20 year old”.

Thank you Dr. Jamnadas. I'm a type 2 diabetic and am actually on insulin. It was always my intention to eventually get off of it. My focus until now had been what is my A1C or my blood glucose level. And to think that I had been taught that to manage diabetes was to manage what your blood glucose level was. I think a large part of the problem, especially for diabetics, is knowing the right questions to ask. I had been ignorant about monitoring the actual insulin level and never thought to ask to be tested for it. I've noticed, since being on insulin, that my muscles in my arms and legs ache a lot. I feel like I now really have somewhere to start in my journey to better health. Thank you!
