Yes and also no cruise on the '22 Gsxs 1000 which i picked up a month ago and these 2 are basically identical with the other having less fairings..doesn't make any sense 🤨
Big Thanks for doing bikes like this…I’ve been thinking about getting this bike. I’m older and still enjoy riding fast but only if they’re comfortable like this bike. I’ve got a 2019 Aprilia Tuono and I love it but need way more storage/luggage options
I just bought a 2024 of this bike about 2 weeks ago and then took it across america. Very fun bike stock and absolutely an amazing machine for long trips. 11/10 ranking for myself. Suzuki did an amazing job.
I've been waiting so long for someone to finally do a ecu flash for this bike. Now that yall have done it, I'll definitely be contacting your business again.
Chris you've to turn down the gain on the microphone for the dyno runs. Ideally, the best way to do it is have a separate setup for the audio for the runs since the volume difference between your voice and bike is massive and the microphone won't automatically compensate for it.
I think this will be my next bike! Looks like a perfect balance of touring and performance. I really just want to ride some wheelies while hauling luggage haha.
Luv the new GSX wouldnt mind picking up one for a second bike but that's the wrong exhaust for a sport tourer IMO. You best keep a bottle of excedrine with you when doing a high mile day your gonna need it. I would of went with a full Yoshimura or Akrapovic myself though I like the look of the Brock on the bike for sure though, nice job tuning Chris, from the look of the power and trq curves it should be a great sport tourer. the power and trq curve
Have you been able to find a full system or slip-on from Yoshimura for the GSXS-GT 22 model? Or will their system from 2016 and newer for the F and S models work on the 22 GSXS-GT?
Hey bro Just had my 2022 gsxs 1000gt decated So. Standard headers removed cat/ silencer box and fitted bmc air filter ,dyno & remap I’m getting147 hp wheel Fukin waaaay quick enough for me
I am just wondering how much gains will a tune give a stock bike. I mean, keep the bike factory stock, do not change anything at all but just remove the ECU restrictions, do a full fuel map tune, full ignition map tune, do all the possible ECU tuning you can do to squeeze every gain possible, again, while keeping the bike factory stock. Will that make close to 10HP gains? Or it depends on the bike? Do some bikes come very restricted than others? I am just wondering. Thanks, and more power Chris. BTW, the wireless mic works just as good as your previous setup. Your voice actually has more bass into it with the wireless mic clipped near your neck.
I would love a vid or instructions on how to get the side panels off. I can figure it our and I need to change the oil filter. any help would be appreciated
Hey Jon, the owners manual has decent instructions on how to pull them off (not as in depth as the service manual). The GT is my first fully faired bike, so I thought I was going to break them upon removal, but I've had them off 3 times without issue. Let us know how it goes.
Audio quality while you're talking sounds good. Personally I think audio quality for the dyno was better with the mic being positioned in front of the motorcycle. There was a little too much sound distortion with the mic positioned so close to the exhaust.
And the slower over time. In future fastest will be fully electric, fact. ... If 95 db under the helmet in my ears would be at 70 mph - and a louder exhaust would bring that 95 db at 64 mph already - what will i go for, settle to on a long distance drive? Loud on tour is slow, fact. As a manufacturer i could even think about the coming comercials going together with the launch of my first Sportsbike EV's - 'Sport needs concentration, endured' -- 'loud = yesterday' talks to a new & young generation of buyers.
Never been a fan of these sports touring bikes but must admit they've came a long ways these days and there getting pretty good not personally my style but still can't knock em
Great Job C... To make that hp with smaller stock cams and stock filter is awesome. On another note, only places he will be touring are different ear doctors 😂... Brock went ham on the design of that exhaust system
Does your tune only affect one tune level? I know that bike has 3 levels of power delivery, will they all still work effectively? Or do you only run in tune mode A after the flash?
I can't imagine taking a brand new bike and immediately modifying its performance, rather than riding it a bit, seeing what it needs before jumping in. I guess a stock 135-150 RWHP ain't enough for some people. And then to add that level of noise... on an ST? Geez luis, that's loud and obnoxious. In my opinion and on this bike, louder does not mean better. That's gonna get mind-numbing on a long ride. And for what? Ok, significant HP gain but at what expense? Nope, not for me. The whole point of an ST is to ride in relative comfort and that noise ain't gonna do it. Wonder what just a simple tune would add if the exhaust remained relatively stock, maybe a slip-on only.
Can I know how to reset failed indication and coution indication. My bike suddenly engine off during cruise. All happened after full system exhaust change
I just got the GT but here in Canada the cops crack down on us for everything (exhaust is the first thing), can you flash the ECU without swapping out the exhaust or even a slip on? If so, what type of gains would be expected? Thanks and amazing videos!
I agree, but that Akra was way too quiet. I like the look of the brock exhaust better than the Akra. if he just had a slightly smaller baffle it would be perfect. I am thinking of trading in my Concours 14 for this but I was expecting 150 HP not 134. these mods put it in the zone for me.
Looking at a 2022 GSX-S950 (same engine, shut done via the ECU to 94bhp) which is £5000(x1.2 for $USD)cheaper than its full fat sister, worth spending some cash opening it up...thanks for that, though, personally, too much noise for a tourer!
Hi question. I'm new rider, been riding sportbike for almost 2 years with stock exhaust. Can anyone tell me what's difference between underbelly exhaust and long exhaust I mean the straight pipe like arrow exhaust and akrapovic racing line. Some ppl say underbelly exhaust damage the engine is it true? Also underbelly exhaust doesn't have top end power only the torq. While long exhaust have top end power but low torq is this true??? I heard this from internet tho
I'd be curious to know what after market lights and windscreen he used. Excellent video and definitely going to start watching more vids since his is my first for you guys
Great video! I own this bike and I love it (almost). What I don't like about it is how snatchy the throttle is when you go completely off-on the throttle. Would it be possible to fix this only?
great video. I do have a question. I have a 2022 GSX-S750. and I am wanting to swap the throttlebody with a GSX-S1000 Katana throttlebody. what are your thoughts? and what about removing the secondary butterflies from the GSX-S1000?
Great tune, but for me… horrible loud intrusion of exhaust sound. Maybe it’s an age thing, but at 67, that amount of sound is a deal breaker. Otherwise, very impressive jump in hp & excellent torque increase. 👍😎. (your new mike seems to work fine too) 👍
2:20 um... Why aren't those beautiful TFT gauges on the Gixxer? 🤔
Yes and also no cruise on the '22 Gsxs 1000 which i picked up a month ago and these 2 are basically identical with the other having less fairings..doesn't make any sense 🤨
The gixxer being dropped from Europe, it wont see any updates now.
Easy upgrade

Really appreciative for the owner going to the trouble of doing all the legwork they did as well as Moore Mafia

Truth because GoPro is stupid and won't give us a real gain control
I think this will be my next bike! Looks like a perfect balance of touring and performance. I really just want to ride some wheelies while hauling luggage haha.
Respectable numbers! Cool to see that you were able to coax a bit more power of this machine. Even in stock form, these bikes are a hoot.
Holy smokes that's loud. Touring, that would get obnoxious.
But the gsxs is such a nice bike I'd get used to it.

I liked the akra sound better, owner should of done the header pipe to match the silencer, its just loud now with no tone
It’s getting to be time to swap the dyno drum again that thing it looking polished AF lol
This man is tuning day and night lol
More mileage on the dyno than on the road! Needs to be re knurled?
That GT owner did everyone a great service! If my back cant take the busa anymore I would probably get this bike. = )
You've just made this bike appeal to a lot more with that power gain.
Looking forward to meeting you in South Florida at the end of the month.

So assuming the 149 hp is meaured at the wheel. What does that equate to at the engine?
Pretty much takes it to 165 -170 hp at the crank after a tune
It’s sounds a lot better now, nice content bro❤

Heavy distortion on the bike audio on the exhaust side. Talking audio is good though
I own the same Bike here in Germany. Can you take out the Speed limiter in 6th gear? At 10800 rev it cut the Speed at 250kmh. Not fine.
is it the mic or the brocks? it's the loudest on video. nice vid.
Probably a mix of both. All Brock's exhaust are loud but they shouldn't be this loud.
Oh, DR650 in the background. Did you dyno it?
How much the top speed after flashing
I love these bikes because the handlebars AR up and they're comfortable and they have bags and they're fast

What ECU number did this have mine has 32990-48KJ and was not in the system woolich said I needed to send it in. This was about 3 weeks ago for my gt.
On a scale of 1-10, how LOUD was that setup? My state has clamped down on stupidly loud bikes.
Does your tune only affect one tune level? I know that bike has 3 levels of power delivery, will they all still work effectively? Or do you only run in tune mode A after the flash?
