Thanks for the review from a fellow GT rider. I've changed the gearing on mine and swapped it for a supersprox 42 tooth rear sprocket. I had to remove a couple of links out of the chain but pleased I made the switch. It makes motorway cruising a bit better and doesn't dull the acceleration too much. There is a website called gearing commander which is really useful for understanding how any gearing changes will affect revs and speed. My bike has only got 5.5k miles and I purchased it second hand in June this year. I have done a few mods, EBC EPHH sintered pads made a big difference to the brakes, I've also just purchased some hel braided lines but haven't fitted yet. Bike has been reliable other than an occasional issue with the cruise control, this is quite common apparently and occasionally stops you from setting a speed. You then need to stop the bike and turn the ignition off and back on again before you can use it again, very annoying but happens infrequently. I find the bike comfortable and great fun when in A mode. In B mode I can easily get 50+ MPG and is a great all-rounder.
@ Thanks Ian . Good bike and glad you are enjoying yours . I was speaking to the local dealer who has sold about 20 of them . I have had no problems with mine but have spoken to a few that have . I tend to ride other bikes when I am personally, in A mode . Toured so many miles on it I tend to automatically ride it that way . It does go well though .. as you know ! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment . Have fun 👍
@@michaelmam that's interesting about the sensor. I've recently seen a Suzuki service bulletin that suggests it's a problem with the rear brake switch and they've released a new return spring.
