I would recommend using a calorie calculator which takes your current weight, height and activity level into account to calculate your calories.

I think some food like quinoa, sorgo, Skyr should be added as they have been key food for me in dropping weight

I would be curious to know what kind of meals and snacks you would recommend to someone dealing with things such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and elevated blood sugar who is also attempting to lower these things

I love your videos and I liked your app layout but it didn’t fit with my goals. I am a female endurance runner transitioning from focusing on marathons to triathlons. I would be very interested in a video examining the difference between training for weight lifting vs endurance.
I remember you did a video on the Tarzan/Scarzgard (it’s late, I’m not spell checking the name. Forgive me). And you mentioned that he was running a lot and adjustments had to be made for building him up for the role. A deeper dive into the differences of endurance v muscle training would be very interesting.

What do you think about low fat skyr for dinner? It’s very easy to make and high in protein.

Since calorie deficit is required to lose body fat, what would be one or two tips to stay consistent and feel satiated?
I found that when I lost some weight over a 2 months period, I was feeling hungry at first or over the long run, and what I did in those cases was skip the calorie deficit for a meal or a day or more until I felt like I could keep going with it.

In my experience, and I’ve only been working with a trainer for 11 months so still quite new at this… switch out your carbs for slow releasing carbs. Ditch white rice for brown rice. Ditch white breads for whole grain or sour dough. Porridge or Oats (and I just use the microwave sachets with low fat milk, my partner uses water and adds blue berries) with nuts and dried apricots and a dollop of yoghurt keeps me full until my next 500 calorie meal. Eggs go a long way to fill you up. A good snack goes a long way to hold you at bay until your next meal (cheese on wholegrain crackers, a shake, a tub of yoghurt, piece of fruit, some nuts, some dried fruit) if you’re really hungry. Add a carb to salads, like roasted potato/sweet potato/pumpkin/mushrooms and a little bit of cheese sprinkled on top. Time your meals so that you have a snack before workout, and a protein meal (with a slow releasing carb) after your workout. I work out in the morning, so I want a big protein/carb 500 calorie meal after for breakfast. My eldest son works out after work, and has a protein shake when he gets home, to hold him off until dinner is ready… I also need to mention, sometimes it’s “craving” that wins out over “hunger” so learn what your craving is and use spices and sauces with your protein and carb to feed your craving “close enough”. A diet free day on occasion is also essential, IMO😂. And vary your meals - you can’t eat the same meal every day - mentally you will stray to something more exciting.

meal prep is term that describes preparing meals in advance, how to approach it, saving time, money, its about creating good meals that could last for some time in the frigde, how to make it easy and quick - this video has literally nothing about that, its totally generic food "advice"
