In reference to some of the replies on this comment thread - When he uses the term diet, he’s not referring to overeating or consisting on sodas only. He’s referring to plans such as keto, paleo, sirtfood, etc. He even goes on to state that diets should be short-term. So he obviously isn’t talking about diets in the sense of what you eat throughout your life but short-term plans of losing weight or building muscle.

Man she definitely got ripped and toned big time for that movie , the beginning scene when shes boxing with sparring friend , Alicias body definition really showed especially in the stomach , she had impressive abs , Alicias toned physic was probably the only thing i had admired better than Angelina , despite i still liked Jolie more as Lara Croft in the old Tomb Raider movies , but Alicia still did a decent job playing that role as well too

many people think that keto is all about munching on bacon, eggs and lots of butter, whereas it should be quite the opposite. Focus on your healthy unsaturated fats (fish, nuts, seeds, olive oil, avocado), include lots of veggies etc. Basically, do mediterrean keto

@@munix9351 You're generally not supposed to do keto when your Alicia's size. Also, people immediately lean toward super high fat over load. what made it particularly decent for Alicia for this exact scenario is 1: It eliminates carb bloat and water retention during the filming process. 2. Very easy to track and store. Most of the ingredients are pretty basic, simple, easy to source . An avocado is an avocado. 2. Fat, Protein and the carb sources are all very filling. Broccoli will keep you full along with all the fats and proteins. This will also keep her from "binging." So, even though it's a "diet." What he's doing is keeping her protein high so she stays in shape. Keeps her from bloating on scene, and everything is very easy to track for the short term.
However, it worked for this temporary instance. You really should not be on keto diet long term, and if you're not blatantly obese there was no real reason to stay on it. In a way it was just a very easy temporary short term meal plan to follow.

This channel is awesome! One question please. Are 3oz/85g of cooked weight protein like salmon, chicken or meat in one meal enough, to stimulate muscle protein synthesis? I’m 6.2 with 70kg. Thank you very much for sharing so much great content. I appreciate this!

Hi Magnus, I just want to check with you..isit necessary to track on my non-starchy vege carbs macro on top of the usual carbs that I eat like brown rice, reduced carbs wraps etc? The reason being in order to cut down the amount of carbs, I’ll eat more vege and protein in order to feel satiated. I can eat a full bunch of broccoli...

Technically a keto diets would contain less protein (10-20%), as protein consumption also stimulates insulin production. I think your diet sounds more healthy and better for weight loss than actual keto 😊

To be honest I think that you need to figure it out yourself, just remember that it's better to do half an hour everyday, than 2 hours from the start, but quit after a week because it's too big challenge

Tina, If you listen in the beginning of the video I'm explaining why I had Alicia on a Keto diet. You can get your energy from fat or carbs or a combo of both. Personally I eat carbs!

I didnt realize my oatmeal with plant milk, chia seeds, hemp seeds, ground flaxseed and blueberries (no sugar) was 77g of carbs :(

Apparently you get more energy on the keto diet...regardless of the low carb. Is this essentially what hugh jackman and other actors went on to cut for those films? How did you get around too much Mercury in fish?

There are fish choices that aren't bad, particularly if you stay lower down the food chain
