Nutrition is 97% of it all.
and yes, squats burn more belly fat than sit ups.
Take this from a guy who has had a full sixpack since age 15 and i'm 32 now. Still natural.
Magnus knows his stuff.
Base your diet on eggs, wild caught fish/seafood, lean meats and pasture raised beef (if you eat red meat).
Healthy fats from olive/avocado/nuts/coconut
Clean burning carbs like oats, sweet potatoes, quinoa, whole grains.

True! Squats are my go to when I workout. I watch my diet very carefully and allow treat meals sparingly. After 41 years of consistent training, at 57, I have abs like I did when I was 16.

Day 1 (transverse): plank - 30-60s; hollow body hold - 30-60s; scissor kicks - 20-40 reps (3 sets each).
Day 2 (obliques): alternating rotational jack knife - 10-20 reps; cross body mountain climber - 10-20 reps; rotating dragon fly - 10-20 reps (3 sets each).
Day 3 (rectus abdominus): reverse crunch - 10-15 reps; crunch on exercise ball - 10-20 reps; clamshell crunch - 10-15 reps (3 sets each).

I was wondering if you could do a video with a full body workout while in a hotel room/on the road? I don't always have access to weights, but I don't want to lose my muscle. I'm gonna try this routine, starting tomorrow! I usually do leg raises and upsides down situps on the bar. And when exhausted, I've been doing similar ground excercises.

Love the breakdown of muscle group. Just did my 2nd day to build my first 3 sets. Plank was easy, hollow and scissor kicks can barely keep it to 30seconds but I felt good tho...lol
I saw Skarsgard interviewed about this. His main answer is, "They paid me millions to do it. His nutritionist & trainer were with him constantly. He only ate when he was allowed/ordered to, and that was skinless chicken breast with broccoli, 200 calories at a time, every 2 or 3 hours between constant workouts. He looks this way because it's in his contract. The workouts are the easy part. 24/7 diet.
Yes and there were also pretty accurate claims he did take T for the role. But honestly don't know. I have this physique with intermittent fasting / bodyweight training achieved in 3 months working as a doctor... It is hard, but doable naturally, so don't know how difficult it is for Skasgaard when he has access to any gym any meal and top trainer....
Although it is more informative and technical Hollywood was using similar info since its inception to keep the illusion of wonder men when it is a struggle to save them from the mess they make of themselves. Self destruction and pleasures of the flesh constant temptation when young, famous and rich. Chaperone as well as health gurus would be a good investment.

Great video. 3 day split for abs is interesting. It would be helpful if in future videos that form is explained instead of relying so heavily on the video to decode the motion. I’ve been working pretty carefully to repair my diastasis recti after having my second baby six months ago, and I did these over the last week after my full body and upper body days and buuuuuuuh, I definitely felt it.

Thanks for sharing! Do you think in the future videos you can also show us how it would be the wrong way to do some exercises or variables for beginners? It happens sometimes as a beginner I change my posture for certain exercises a little bit and I don’t really know if I’m doing ok or not.
I’m always struggles with pushups because I have no strength enough yet and I doubt if I’m doing them ok or not specially because It can be dangerous

Please don't add music in background, it hurts the ears and makes it hard to concentrate on what you are saying. Music is a huge stressor with added noise. Your voice is music enough and very pleasant to listen to. I'll check out the nutrition section. Sadly, I love to cook! So have to give up a lot.

Question please!!! What would you pick instead of rotating dragon flys , they kind of hurt my lower back and I dont wana get injured really , today I did plank with hip dips however what your choice would me if you have to replace the dragon flys.

Ok this guy is Euro Awesome! He has me at German Riesling. Kind of looks like a less cruel Ragnar? Better looking tho. His advice is practical and the diet/workouts make sense. Fun to watch and put into practice or add to what i already do. I will keep watching

Question: When you say 10-20 reps of an exercise that involves alternating movements, targeting different sides, does that mean the minimum is 10 per side, or the minimum is 5 per side(=10 total)? I am mainly talking about the exercises for day 2.

For exercises like Alternating Rotational Jack Knife and Dragon Flags, is one rep left then right or is each movement one rep? So, left then right would be one rep or left then right would be two reps?

All good about the abs, but as you said he needs to do squats, deadlifts, and other exercises to get in his shape, probably the exercises for abs was at the end of a specific training day, They are good to add them to our regular training schedule but nothing more. Thank You

abs appear only if you are less than 13, 12 (+/-) body fat, no matter how hard you train. It´s all in you diet. Your abs will show even if you don´t work out at all. Food is everything !
What would you recommend in a meal plan for someone who can't and won't eat fish?
Super Simple, you make sure to eat another protein source instead. Like beef/chicken etc

I'm way too weak, I can't do a single sit up, any tips for absolute beginners? Should I do the sit up exercises like Jack Knives only halfway or is that gonna do more damage than good?
You can try doing crunches first to build up strength, you could also swing your hands towards your knees and use the momentum to complete the sit-up
