  • 10 ANXIETY symptoms you NEED to know so you can spot this signals your body is telling you. Anxiety disorder effects about 40 million people in the United States, and about 6 million people in the Uk. This is a massive number of people who’s lives are impacted by anxiety disorder.
Anxiety disorders like social anxiety symptoms can effect people in a number of ways, 10 of which I point out in this video and I throw a few facts about anxiety disorder in there to help you learn a bit more about this condition. It isn’t just one type of person who is susceptible to anxiety disorder, it can affect any one at any time.
There is less known information about the cause of anxiety disorder, but we do know that certain things we can do that can help relive anxiety and help some one who lives with anxiety disorder cope with the symptoms.
This video outlines just the symptoms of anxiety disorder, and I advise everyone who has these if you have not already take a trip to your doctor to seek help for anxiety.

Anyone else get the infamous brain fog as well from anxiety, that affects memory, concentration and other things, not forgetting the feeling of a dreamy state like you're in a bubble

Eoin yeah I get that a lot where my mind is just blank and it takes me forever to form even one sentence in my head. I practiced to notice when it comes (and prevent it) tho.
I personally think it comes from my depression 🤷🏻‍♀️

Had a panic disorder for 14 years. Things you may also experience as unusual anxiety symptoms I can vouche for:
    1. Vertigo
    2. Feelings of vibrations inside chest
    3. Buzzing inside head
    4. Nocturnal loops of negative thoughts
    5. Unexplained sense of utter sadness and doom
    6. Suddenly feeling cold together with the sense of doom
    7. Back ache
    8. Stomachache

Ronaldo, It is all in the mind. Take action--God helps those who help themselves. Meditation is the permanent way to a relaxed and stress free life because it reprogrames the mind. Enter "Alternate nostril breathing meditation videos" on Google search and do the simple meditation for 10-15 minutes if possible twice a day or even more.. Also read the benefits of alternate nostril breathing meditation.Try to avoid moving too much while doing this meditation. Focus a little on the incoming and outgoing breath. It can also be done sitting on a chair. Best wishes. Do meditation daily to enjoy a relaxed life. Best wishes--Shyaaam Sir. --Life Coach.

I haven't felt symptoms in a few years I thought I was over anxiety but 2020 brought it all back. The fatigue, chest heaviness muscle weakness hard to breath feeling like im going to fall when I walk its all back. I try not to stress and pray. Accepting that I cant control everything and take time to rest. This is what helps me. Its reassuring knowing other people feel these symptoms as well. I just want to encourage you to never give up. You are stronger than you think you are. When anxiety hits try to reassure yourself that its going to be OK. I know its hard but your tough you can get through this. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

LOVE your channel...now guardian of my 20 year old niece and I am able to relate so many things h is helping us both. Anxiety is an issue I to deal with and found meds difficult. I use a few pieces of ice in a baggie with a little water & place on bridge of nose for 30 seconds to a minute. It hits the sympathetic nerve & stops the adrenaline push causing the anxiety. Trust me nobody likes he could, however for me a minute of being uncomfortable is so much better than a full blown panic attack that can last hours. Learned from my doctor & have used this technique for years. Thanks again for your program...new subscriber.

They always freak me out a lot but it is actually very helpful to know that they are just linked to these disorders( especially the pressure in the head, dizziness and weakness in legs - this is exactly what I get and I never knew!) @@sumitmehra6746 I still get anxiety, but one of the things that helped me more than anything is meditation. At first there is only a slight improvement, but overtime your brain forms the right neurons to keep your anxiety down more long term. It takes time and a dedicated spiritual practice, but this is really what helped me. I believe there is always a cause for these disorders, whether its trauma related or lifestyle related, there is a cause. Meditation helped me work through the causes. I hope that helps!

Having anxiety sometimes makes me think I’m crazy.... the best way I could describe this feeling is like having every bad memory I’ve ever experienced and constantly played in my head, on top of that the negative thoughts and “what if” scenarios start playing in my head. Finally there’s this sort of weird gut feeling, almost like when you’re about to drop in a rollercoaster, or fall of a chair... except you never end up dropping in the rollercoaster, and you never end up falling from the chair. I want to thank you for this video it helped a lot with certain problems I'm having. Ask her how I relax, I tried to do something either do dishes or do some cleaning or go for a walk or get my mind off what's going on by watching TV or video or doing an audiobook. Your video helped me know I'm not completely crazy but the physical symptoms I'm suffering are part of what's going on that helps thank you

The fact that I have all of these symptoms is worrying me and I'm scared for what the future may bring.this is the first video I have watched of yours, and no one has ever explained it as well as you have here, so thank you for posting this

Like I've said before, I have not gotten a diagnosis of Asperger's but if I did, I would probably not have an anxiety disorder. I can be socially awkward and sometimes anxious, but I have not had any of these symptoms. This is good to know. Thanks Dan:)

Thank you for all your educational and amusing videos. I had IBS so bad last year. I was puking and having diareah so bad that I dropped to 88 lbs or 40 kg. I was literally dying and no one would take me seriously. I suffer all these symptoms. One more is nightmares. They are not all horrific but they will be super stressfull and physically exhuasting. I used to do repeatative exercises such as trampalean and foam roller but I had to learn to branch out and try less calorie consuming activities as I lost so much weight and energy. I began yoga, breathing, and forcing myself to set a timer and learn to relax and take a break by reading a book. Mimimilism is also something that I find helpful. I am not extreme but excess of everything is just too much for me to handle or manage. I try to get in nature more and I also found that changing my diet helps w cognitive functioning and that reduces confusion and stress. There are so many helpful things out there but as you mentioned I don't think that some of on the spectrum are as capable of readily recognizing or addressing our emotions. For years I was labeled as anxious and depressed but I was in denial because I was not self aware enough to recognize the symptoms. I got seriously ill from stress. I developed thyroid disorder and went into chronic adrenal fatigue. Learning I am autistic was vital to my being able to confront my mental health issues and provide myself with options to regulate myself without it taking such a physical toll on my health.

Earlier this year I went to the hospital. I thought I was having a heart attack, but in fact it was having a panic attack. I would try to sleep and I couldn't. As soon as I would lay down, I'd feel my heart palpitations. My chest would be sore from the tightness. It still gets sore a bit, but I've been doing walking and eating a little better. I'm still trying to deal with it.
I dont have blurred vision, or any of that. But I have noticed a drop in my energy. I'm 30, and I definitely didnt expect to feel this fatigued at times. Sometimes I do feel like I have shortness of breath.

I know this is a vid from 3 years ago. But I searched for anxiety symptoms and this video helped me so much. I feel like when I learn about the symptoms it soothes me knowing that I am not in actual danger, it's just my anxiety kicking in. In the moment it is crazy scary, but when Im after it it calmes me when I try to rationalise the symptoms. Like... "Remember, anxiety can cause hella lot scary symptoms. You are dizzy, your head hurts. It's okay, it will get better." You have to talk to yourself like when you try to calm your friend. Lol
But it also helps when I talk to somebody about it. And they reassure me that it's fine. I get it out of my system what is happening and somebody is aware of it and can help. It makes me a bit rwlieved, then I can calm myself down.
But when Im alone in town, it is still hard for me. I look around and can only think about people looking at me. I think I might have social anxiety as well... but when im in that situation I try to gather strenght and just go with the flow. Like whatever happens it happens. But when I'm in intense stress my gag reflex kicks in. I don't throw up, but my body does this to relieve the stress in my body. It was scary at first but now i know why it happens.
Also I listen to music a lot. Anywhere I go. And it helps to distract my mind.

  • @ginastotallybodaciousunive2375

I think the best thing is to talk to someone about why you feel like this. I tend to worry a lot and feel anxious and confused yet when I talk about it to someone I can see clearer and things don't seem as scary................................................. EXAMPLE..... Like now I'm about to move and get a job and I'm excited sometimes yet sometimes I'm terrified and upset that things are going to change but when I talk about it I can see another perspective a more positive one and calm down. I have to keep reminding myself of the positives to stay happy and enjoy the ride.

Hi, I get the weird sensation down my neck and I never understood why, so thanks. I arranged to see an old school friend (three weeks ago) who I haven't seen in over 30 years and was getting more and more anxious until I couldn't eat properly and was not being able to function well at all. I started watching your videos two days ago and I'm actually finding watching them whilst crocheting is calming me down. I think I need to be absorbed in something to feel calmer. Also before I went (I saw her today and it went really well) I took 3 bulletproof Zen tablets which def help, though they are very expensive so I only take them when the anxiety gets really bad, I wore my flare earplugs and did some stimming. Thanks again, I'm only recently diagnosed and have a lot to learn, your videos are making me feel much better about myself : )

I used to have bad anxiety, especially when I was a teenager and I have social anxiety (although I have done several public speaking events and once helped run a stall for butterfly conservation at a fair which meant interacting with people which I didn't find that bad)), but now nowhere near as bad as I used be as I used to get very uncomfortable in social situations as much that I could barely speak to people I didn't know as I felt unable to get the words out and would often go home felling quite upset at times as I felt unable to properly talk to people with out feeling shaky with an upset stomach.
In the past year I have taken classes in stress management and mindfulness which really have helped me learn to deal with my anxiety and also boosted my confidence with meeting new people. I had alopecia once around 10-11 years ago as I was quite stressed then and it caused a part of my hair on my left side to go balding a little and grow back in white, and I used to have a pencil thin beard, but now can't even grow a beard like I used to as it just grows in brown and white and very patchy.
I always find that listening to music helps me and I have a playlist of over 1700 of my all time favourites I like listening to, especially country, classical, orchestral, jazz, folk, TV show theme music and soundtracks, movie soundtracks and 60s, 70s and 80s music to name a few. I also making my own music and I play different musical instruments including Irish whistle and flutes, concert flute, recorder, panpipes, harmonica, piano (well keyboards as I have never played an actual piano), and have a violin that I want to start learning to play and I find when I play those I feel relaxed. I also find going for a walk in a more wild places surrounded by nature really helps me relax more than anything.

The Aspie World have you ever done a video on psychic abilities and aspergers. Do you think there is a correlation. I understand if you prefere not to answer this question.

I found that focussing on my breathing helps when I'm having a panic attack. My partner bought me a vape and some nicotine-free liquid recently because my reason for smoking in the past was that it forces me to breathe, which in turn helps me to focus on something other than anxiety.

Yeah it sucks... I’ve been to the hospital twice for it. I get head tension, dizziness, heart palpitations, left side of my body feels weird, etc.. sometimes even full blown panic attacks.

I feel so much better now knowing that there is others who are like me, it's really a difficult state to be in.

This video gave me some relief, I feel a lot more calm now. Now I know I ain’t the only one. Been prescribed Fluoxetine, has anyone felt better overtime using this stuff?

Stomach pain is the big one for me. Of course I do have legit stomach issues to begin with but that and the stress from elsewhere in my life do feed off each other.
By the way, great acting job with those symptoms!! :)
