@ericg.201 ok. So i guess me doing it repeatedly in my 10 years of wrenching means nothing. Impacting creates heat which helps break it loose. Constant pressure by using a handtool will twist the bolt in half before it ever breaks loose. Ive replaced frames on tacomas and tundras under factory campaigns for toyota. I currently work on heavy construction equipment. It absolutely is the best option for stuck rusty bolts.
At the moment I have the rear o2 sensors plugged in and they are zip tied up under the truck. It doesn’t give you a engine light right away but down the road after driving for like a hour or 2 it does so yes you do have to get it tuned which I will be posting a video on when my truck frame is done!
@@vkchikom3187 dawg sadly & honestly I just banged my mf long tube header in until it hit. I seen engine masters do it to their motor & it didn’t make a difference on performance so I said fuck it . I’m probably going to go turbo now so hopefully I won’t have this problem anymore .
So I did JBA headers and straight up, it's bad ass but my steering column is rubbing on them. Any idea wat I can do?... besides denting the headers..same truck same 5.3
Nice video! So if you install the headers from the top down, you do not need to remove the drive shaft? Just the steering linkage and the spark plugs as a precaution?
I cannot support the removal of the Catalytic convertors. It's a shame that so many truck enthusiasts are so irresponsible with the environment. Gonna have to unfollow. Best of luck with the build
It’s not a daily driver it’s just going to pretty much be a dune truck so I don’t know if the 10 times I drive it a year are gonna hurt the environment but I’m sorry you feel that way!
@@jrvlogs9654 doesn’t any car or truck “ hurt the environment” , even with cats?? Or how about drag cars or motocross they don’t have a full exhaust if an exhaust at all.
If youre ever afraid of breaking a bolt an impact is the BEST option. Using a hand tool will twist it apart.
Um, no.
@OscyJack- um yes, it is. I work on rusty ass equipment everyday. Be quiet if you dont know what youre talkin about
@@bkvr3461 um, no.
A Impact is absolutely the Worst option!

9:49 gave you 2 extra for the 2 that always break
What size are the bolts? Please help 😢
Did u get a check engine light what did you do to get rid of it if u did. ?? I hear antifoulers or a tune ??

So your truck has cats deleted
Have you noticed any difference on fuel and truck response and did you have to get it tune since cats are deleted
Did you install all 4 o2 sensors ?
Just the front 2 the back ones you have to get tuned to be turned off!
Or install defoulers/spacers if you can’t find a tuner who will turn them off
@Eli install them where exactly, the headers only have 2 bungs total I believe
Do you unplug and take off the rear O2 's ?
Do U have the video of u tuning your truck yet. ?? My headers just came in yesterday waiting for weekend to install them
Did you feel any diference with headers?
What did you do for the headers to not hit the steering shaft ?
What did you end up doing?
You can take off the steering shaft. Just like ca your steering wheel so it won’t have play
What did you do cuz mine is hitting the steering shaft

@@LifeOfLonso38 yeah just bag it shitt thx for the response bro just got misfire on cylinder 2 not sure why
Still not sure if I want them or not I have a straight pipe with a 8" tip on a 2015 5.3
Did your headers turn black about half way down to the collector ?
What headers are these can you provide the link where you bought them from?
They are from speed engineering bro. I had these on my 2015 Camaro as and now my 2019 silverado.

for spark plug wires what length did you go with
Manz sounds like boomhauer from king of the hill
I like your setup. I have the same truck.
You from Tennessee? I need some installed on mine😂

And for over heat I always fuck up my wires from spark plug
Just dent the mf it doesn't hurt performance masters did a episode or get new motor mounts
Hey brother how much horsepower did you get out of that Long tube headers install only do you know
Wats the torque spec when tightening the headers
Presoak all the bolts with penetrating fluid the day before

What lifts you have on your truck?
We’re the 02 extensions plenty long enough ?
I know it's off topic but is there a way to make make Chevy windows roll up with the key fob or a module
Hold the lock button
I have a question can you pass emissions test with headers
With long tube headers probably not
After installing the headers how much to tune the truck
You ever do a V4 delete?
Not yet but I will be deleting it very soon in a future video!
@@jrvlogs9654 that’s a bet!

Yo when you posting I’ve been waiting for ever
Do you have cam
How much did your mpg go down?
Should improve
What did u do with ur cats 🐈 🐈⬛??
Sounds great
That's a job!
That front end looks like it’s hurting with that giant ass block on top of ur strut tower
The problem is over heat the spark plugs
Hand tools all the way for me. Extracting broken bolts are not fun to do in tight spaces. 😮
FYI it's a Catalytic Converter not Cadillac Converter 🤦🏾😂
Where’s the driving videos brooo
last video says a year ago: nothing new??
Come on with the vids bro
