I'm thinking of getting this kit, installing it myself, then have an exhaust shop fix /replace the tips to give it more of the "dual swept" look like the stainless works or like corsa style in true dual of course.
Drives fine for now without a tune. Only thing is the check engine light is on from the rear o2 sensors not being connected. Waiting on the intake mani and cai to come in and get installed so we can tune it.
I installed the same long tubes headers in my 2014 gmc sierra 5.3 but I noticed each long tube header has one hole for the o2 sensor and the y pipe has one hole on the middle but the has 4 o2 sensors how do you connect the sensors also i have 2 codes P0137 and. p0157
@@MrJunior6939 so you’re only gonna use the top 2 o2 sensors (the 2 with the gold wire protectors) from your old y pipe and connect them to the top 2 connectors like I show in the video The 3rd hole in the middle of the y pipe of for a wide band sensor if you chose to install it later on It’s for air to fuel. Keep it closed And for the check engine light you will need to tune it so the tuner can turn off those rear o2 sensors so it doesn’t throw a check engine light anymore.

How many ft of exhaust pipe did you use from end of x pipe to beginning of mufflers?
Love the sound!! . . Is it just exhaust? . Did you leave cats?
Did you have to swap out plug wires?

Hows the finish of the LTs after 2 months? Do they have that brownish tint to them like the exhaust?
They do have a tint on them, also it sounds so good after the cai and intake manifold swap.
Did it need a tune ?
