Terrible advice at 4:30, you do NOT have the right to draw your weapon to defend property. You're going to get people in trouble, CPL revoked, criminal charges, fines, etc. In that scenario you saw the guy going for the door; your life wasn't in imminent danger. Even castle doctrine is a gimmick; you can't fire at someone just because they crossed your threshold. You or your family must be in imminent danger. I know it sucks, and I don't agree with it, but the fact is you CANNOT draw your weapon to defend property. Do NOT give poor advice to your viewers, it's plain irresponsible 👎

Edit: Michigan also has castle doctrine and stand your ground laws, but they differ from those in Texas regarding property. Everyone should research and understand their state's laws, because no one is going to support your family or break you out of jail if you get locked up.

@DeadoppsMellyisapunkassbitch I believe it's completely justified and I agree that it's everyone's right to defend their property. State laws, however, do not always agree. Let's say I defend the family Tahoe then get locked up. Are you going to support my family in the meantime? Break me out of jail? Reinstate my CPL? Let's keep it real homeboy.

As a retired medical professional I have stopped at accidents to render assistance. Even that type of situation you need to have your guard up. They could be a carjacker or a criminal fleeing and they may try to take your vehicle or even take you hostage. Breakdown situations I usually call the highway patrol or PD in the city. They can protect the scene from an accident and assist them with getting help if needed. When calling note the route, direction and mile marker on the highway and street block number in the city.

wisdom=having a good memory and being willing and able to learn from experience and data compiled from news reports and anecdotes. there have been stories and videos showing paramedic being shot and killed from a man he just revived with narcan. stories of little kids killing paramedics with guns after calling a false emergency. firefighters shot at and killed. it's all about data points and pattern recognition, while being receptive to new information.

When I was a kid, 60 years ago, my father used to talk about people leaving their keys in their car when they stopped at a rest area on the highways to use the bathroom. They'd come out of the bathroom and their car was gone. He told me NEVER get out of your car without the keys in your hand, not even when stopping to get gas.
Also told me to keep a door key in my wallet in case the keys got locked in the car. This was all pre electronic door locks. To this day I have a door key in my wallet for the vehicle I drive.
With today's communication capabilities, my days of stopping to "assist" are long over. Everyone has a cell phone and can summon their own help.

  • @NemesisEnforcer7.62

Another technique used is, criminals looking to steal your car will slip an empty plastic bottle between the front passenger wheel and fender. When you go to pull out of where you are parked, the plastic bottle will make a crunching sound and makes the driver believe something has damaged their car. When the driver hears this, they usually leave the car running and driver door either open or unlocked. When the driver steps around the car to see what it was making the sound, the thief just jumps in the car and drives off. People typically just walk to the drivers side of their car and don't do a walk-around to check their car before they get in to leave a parking area. Take the time to walk around your car and check to see if something is not in the fender-well of your passenger side. This could save you alot of trouble, especially in a large city.

She said she knew of a tire place that would help her. I offered to follow her to make sure she would make it on her spare (supposedly a few miles). When she started down a road with few houses something didn't feel right. I pulled over. A few seconds after pulling over two guys in a pickup drove by and eyeballed me on the way by (i was making like I was messing with my phone). That's when I decided to exit the situation. The fella standin by his broke down car had another guy standing outside with him. The guys were not the sharpest dressed, looked like they have been through some things in life, had the look of a rough guy. They were waivin jumper cables in the air. I gladly pulled over to help. He told me thank you so much and offered to pay me. I said I don't want your money I just wanted to help. With a tear in his eye he said thank you again and Said he had been there for 3 hours because everyone looks at him and must think I am not stoppin to help this crazy guy. People aren't always bad because you think they look bad. This fella had a big heart and was down on his luck and needed help. Don't fall victim to judging people. Sometimes the rough people are who you want next to you when it hits the fan. Don't feel safe because they have a nice car or look nice. Wolf in sheep's clothing waitin around every corner. So I live in California and the amount that I have to pay to get a CCW is crazy. I just recently became a gun owner about 8 months ago because I and my children moved up to the mountains to get out of the city. I had no idea about the cost for a CCW until I went to do my first 8 hour class. In which after completing it I was told the other amounts I was going to have to pay and not only that but it’s not that easy to get the CCW as well. It was very discouraging to hear what I had to go through just to get it so I can protect myself and my children if we go walking around in the hills. I paid for class of course up front but I didn’t go any further with my CCW and it just feels unfair to me that they make it so hard for a law abiding citizen to get protection.

Yup, all a manipulation game really. Whomever can formulate the more believable perspective will more than likely get what they want. Speaking from my own experience as I was wrongfully prosecuted. This is why Jason states about paying $100k to defend yourself in court. There will always be malicious people out there, especially in the legal system as it is the ultimate power in this 🤬ed up world. Judges have immunity and prosecutors will manipulate any situation they can to get what they believe is "a criminal" off the streets. They genuinely believe they are making this world a better place, truth or not. As long as they believe the perspective formulated, truth does not matter. It is absolutely disgusting.

Oh, it is also funny that if this were a law enforcement officer nobody would think twice about it. Pat on the back, deemed a hero, and given immunity against prosecution. Yet a good samaritan or citizen would have the full force of the law thrown at them. Everyone expects you to rely upon and call the police for everything even if it means risking your life. Makes one wonder who the real criminal is right.

I understand pieing out to gain positive ID and keep them in sight and open to engage if needed, but now you have stepped out into traffic with your back to traffic and opened yourself up to be possibly hit. Would there be a way to pie off to the side of the road and keep them in sights? Next thing I noticed in a few of the scenarios is how close the stalled vehicle driver is to you when you are looking at the vehicle. At one point he is less than a foot from you and walks behind you to go around to start the vehicle. Wouldn't this leave you open to that person attacking you from behind in close quarters?

Thank you for what you do brother. ❤ Good scenarios.
There were 2 men approaching vehicles at an intersection while I was far from home. They had similar shirts, like a club or something seeking donations. One guy was directly approaching my window. I drew and told him to stay away. He continued and I had to point it at him and tell him more firmly to stay away. He didn't seem very threatened but I was thinking I might have a situation on my hand.
    People are crazy.

It seems to be becoming very common for people to approach vehicles at crowded traffic lights. I hate it when people stop me and beg for money. It is not safe for us or them. Cops should make it very hard on these goons.

I'm betting most places have laws where people are not permitted to be in the streets for just any reason. Those white and yellow lines are there for a reason. Cars must obey them and so do people not in vehicles. It's only common sense. No one has a right to solicit in the road.

Thanks for sharing! Similar, when I'm just running into the post office or something in/out, I've often thought to grab my cell phone vs leave it sit there. You never know if you need to use it when things can turn in a split second for everyone's safety really. And my own protection (recording of actual event) worst case. It seems excessive though as a tool id rather have it at hand than not. Occasionally I've had a verbally belligerent neighbor air their opinion on my property uninvited. Home cameras are around, but next time they chose to I will decide to pull out my phone and record while I tell them they are trespassing and to leave, never come back. I'm not positive on the nuances, but in some states you need to make the opposing party aware you are recording.

I also usually stop to help someone, unless I see they’re already in the process of taking care of it themselves. One thing to consider is that they may be as worried of you as you are of them. If they perceive you as a threat you may end up with a gun pointed at you.
I’m always wary when someone approaches me, and I always have my head on a swivel when approaching someone else to see if they need assistance.
If I can, my preference is to not exit my vehicle, and keep it in drive while asking if they need assistance. If things go sideways I can always drive away much faster than I can run, and my vehicle does add an extra layer of protection.
Thankfully I’ve only had good experiences when helping others, maybe karma plays a role, who knows.

A few years ago, I picked up a hitchhiker. He did not speak but only showed me the way where to drive. Some time later, he gestured for me to turn right onto a field path. We drove along the field path and then he gestured towards the forest. After driving in the forest for some time, he gestured for me to stop. He reached into his bag and ... took out a can of beer, gave it to me, got out and disappeared into the forest.

Pulling guns on people is serious business. You better know what you are doing, because a lot can go seriously wrong. A few hours of video and a couple of days at the gun range is NOT sufficient training. In this case, he should have called the cops, stayed in his car, and ask the person if he needed assistance through a partially opened window.

If you get out of your car, with your key FOB it cannot be put into gear. I don't stop for people as I figure they have a cell phone. If they look like they need help I would call for them without getting out. The last time I stopped for someone was about a decade ago in the middle of s now storm and it was two guys with grease all over them stalled in the middle of a country road. There was about 14" of snow on the ground and I was chained up. Before I got out I took photos of the men and the truck and sent them to two family members telling them where I was and what I was doing.

This is great information! I try to drive newer vehicles and keep up the maintainence but if I break down, Ill call or text my insurance roadside service. Being a single female- Im not able to help mechanically or medically- and I am not risking myself, pets, vehicle or money. The one thing people have repeatedly shown me is the road to hell is paved with good intention. AND no good deed goes unpunished. I hate to be that way but nobody that ever ended up dead thought it was going to happen. The doors and windows of my home are triple protected. Working on making the exterior walls and roof of my home bullet proof. Im not paranoid - just realistic. The object - especially in a SHTF scenario is to keep home invaders OUT. STAY SAFE FOLKS❤

Great video my NAVY SEAL friend 😊
You are a Star to put out this info. YES leaving your car running. The cops have a locking system on their vehicle for just this reason. They might need to keep the engine running for lights flashing. No one can steal their vehicle. I always look around before exiting my vehicle. Really do I need to help this person. I shut off my vehicle. 4 way flashers ON. My HAND is always on my Smith and Wesson Stubby 357 Mag. Best carry I feel safe with. Just saying I have double action plus single action. It is small and feels comfy on the hip. With a stranger stranded I'm always willing to help get his vehicle STARTED. BUT and say this because of this video
I'm ready to go to Defense if need be. My tools to START the stranded person comes second. I don't know this person. Your video shows WHY.😊😊😊
