  • In this video Jason puts Hayden to the test with a client that came to work with Jason for 30 days. One of the clients request was to be more proficient in firearms.
Hayden spent a little over two hours total which included, gun and holster selection for CCW, firearms safety, range etiquette, and getting the client dialed in.
Overall, Hayden did a great job, the client decreased his shot group by 75%, and improved his accuracy by 50%, in 38 rounds. At the end of the video, Hayden finalizes the training with another improvement.

Was I wrong? Lol I’m just trying to practice safe shooting. The correct response would have been, “good catch, thank you, we’ll make sure in the future we have eye protection in every prudent situation.” Lol I was just trying to help by making a joke. But if you wanna actually make safety a joke then go ahead and stare down that ejection port with no eye protection. Ain’t my eyes lol

Let's just say, I wasted a lot of ammo before finding Frogman Tactical. Your video standing on 1 foot holding your pistol with 2 fingers still hitting your target... That was the moment everything just clicked for me! You made me find and use the proper shooting techniques again. I need more practice but I'm getting there, thanks to you! In another lifetime, in a galaxy far, far away, my DIs had us do "snapping in". We all were around this barrel with targets painted on it to appear the size your eye would see at their respective distances for qualification, the platoon in circle, facing inward at the barrel. The penny was placed on the barrel of the M16. If you could not keep the penny on the barrel, you got stronger (yes, you went in the sand and got smoked). Yes, the same drill can be used for pistol. My senior DI had fun with us one day. He had us do these drills with the non-dominant hand. The left-handed shooters did way better than the right handers. We grew up in a right-hand dominant world. It does affect your rewiring of the brain. I have read studies where stroke victims literally had to train the mind to rewire itself to handle being the opposite hand dominant or at least highly functional. His teaching point being you might have to use the other hand sometime so be proficient with both.
Love your channel. You get straight to the facts, no BS, no crazy loud theatrics, calm low tones, on point. Also, I appreciate you being a Christian, unashamed, and living it. A friend gave me a dog tag when I went in the Corps at 18. On it was Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." I wore it for 28yrs. After retirement, I put it in my wallet. I still believe that verse. Spiritual readiness for what is coming is imperative.

Left (9 o’clock) as a right handed shooter
      - Too little trigger finger

curious if you could expand on "grip isolation?" I think I understand the basic concept so far as the only digit that should be moving during the pull is the index finger, but in terms of isolating the three digits holding the pistol, is there an idea of how "tight" one's grip should be or is it a subjective point of "hold as tight as you need to isolate them from the trigger finger?"

@@greenman4508 - No doubt, some are better teachers than others.
Some have the passion to pass it on too. Others just aren't skilled in communication. Jason has a lot of gifts. There is no argument there. But his last 30 years has been this life. That's not natural. But I wouldn't argue it with anyone. I just want his time and passion honored. Diligence is a word almost forgotten today.

@@redfaux74 indeed. Also, one can be a great teacher, teaching false narratives, or poor skills. False teachers are one of the real reasons why the world is so lost today. I taught things to people for years that were taught to me, turned out completely wrong, man that burns. Not anything about martial skills, but the principle stands. I don’t know these guys at all , or their channel well, new here. I’v gotten good at sniffing out skill and talent and there’s no way these men are any less than dedicated and diligent. You can’t fake that level of comprehension, understanding of nuance, and ability. I once had a friend who was a captain in the seals in Nam. Similar qualities.

I’ve got the same setup. My Holosun failed after about 9 months. Sent it back to the company a month ago and haven’t heard from them. The gun tears up my left thumb on the take-down lever. I have to change my grip from what I use on my G19.
