I take a quick look at the Xpeng P7 Performance Wing Edition. A special edition model that can be bought in China. Complete with luminous green paint and scissor doors. It gets all the Xpilot 3.0 hardware & comes with all the features & features from the top model of the P7 Performance.

..”honestly it scared the living shit out of me when it happened “ love it - already subscribed - keep them coming!!!!
It works like a dream! However being forewarned would have been forearmed…rather than on a test drive having a slight freak cos the car started trying to strangle me…hehe
driver-specific speakers are genius
Yes. The new Xpeng G9 also has them but they are mounted in the seat around the shoulders to improve rearward visibility. I think I forgot to mention it in the Xpeng G9 video.
Thank you great video
Thanks! Appreciated
Great video! Love the car😍
Yup something a bit special.
Great quick review, would really like a more Indepth review though, they should add a HUD, massage seats and maybe a fridge like the P5 and also the X-Pilot 3.5 then it would be an easy buy for me.
So 2 things. 1) we are trying to get hold of a P7 Wing Edition to do an In-Depth review. 2) I agree with you, by end of 2022 Xpeng will have the P5 (XP3.5) & G9 (XP4.0) and the P7 will be the second lowest Xpilot with just 3.0. Personally i think they should refresh the P7 next year and add lidar so it is XP 3.5+ capable.
It looks like the P7 is getting a refresh with lidar, has been spotted on the roads being tested. I'm glad about that as I live in Shenzhen and plan to buy the performance wing edition in a few months. Also so say that the wing doors along cost an extra $10000 or whatever is a bit misleading, the wing door version also includes the rather expensive full software subscription stuff, though I'm not exactly what that means for an end user.
can you review the BYD dolphin ?
Sure. I’ll do a Quick Look at the BYD Dolphin :)
I wanted to see a car. Instead? See a talking head with the car in the background.
Yeah sorry for that. This is a pretty old video. The store was busy and I was filming alone. Not the best.
We have actually re-recorded this car but we are waiting to get the inevitable P7 refresh on loan (which was delayed due to Covid) to finish that video.
105mph top speed? Thats extremely slow, my 2010 audi a3 diesel goes faster
yup, it's not uncommon for EVS to have fairly low top speeds. It will out accelerate a 2010 Audi A3 Diesel by far. But it's not built for the Autobahn that's for sure!
@@ChinaDriven true, but the tesla model 3 performance does 162mph, and even the non performance models have a higher top speed than the p7.
yes that is AN electric car that is capable of a higher top speed. A BMW M340i has a top speed of 155mph…higher than your Audi A3…
I said it is not uncommon for EVs. Meaning most EVs don’t have a high top speed not all. Cheifly because its very inefficient for EVs to travel at such high maintained speeds & since motorways are 120kph in China…really what’s the point…
@@ChinaDriven im just saying, for a performance limited edition of a car, they should make it more performance oriented, not just get a decent 0-60 and cheap out on the other parts. Seams like they put a smaller motor and put the final ratio to get a good acceleration
@@ChinaDriven and you are comparing a $50K bmw to an old audi a3, while im comparing the p7 to a model 3 performance, that is actually cheaper
