- Xpeng P7 just arrived in Europe and now it's time to test if it can meet it's specifications. This is a brand new pre production version of the latest update of the P7 (P7i).

Both are very nice. P7 non-winged should be a bit cheaper than ET5. The floor is a bit lower. Super tall European might be a bit too close to the ceiling (heat radiation), and sit in a knee-tucked position in the back.
Few days ago I was in Berlin, NIO house they have the ET5 Touring.... really really nice. NIO design is well above everything on the market right now. Quality wise...in my view well above Tesla

I live in china, when a xpeng goes past me i always hear that lovdly electric noise
Unfortunatley we are stuck with the Xpilot 2.5 in the EU. Since Lidar radar are baned here. in China they are already on the 3.7 version
Are lidar really banned in EU? Nio has Lidar, Vovlos upcoming models and Lotus too. But as I understand it, Xpeng is moving away from lidar and didn't include the hardware for European cars.

I am in China and this night penh just announced their new suv G6, I think that is much more competitive than the p7. It has more space，better space and new 800v system.the price is also very good comparing to p7.

No, they didn't know when I asked. But will check again.
@@ItsOnlyElectric My dealer told me when I was on a test drive for the G9 that the G6 was planned for end of next year in the Netherlands.

Is it stuck in off-road mode?
Haha..guess you are referring to the shape of the wheel arches. It looks like the suspension could be a bit lower to hug the top of the arch in s bit more estheticly pleasing way. Static suspension so not possible to lower.
Are there any evs available with a range about 1k km as of now?
No, there isn't. 800km. People need to get used to lower range, get used to new usage patterns and see the positive things instead of only looking at range. For 99% of people the range is already enough on today's cars.
When smartphones was realeased everyone was wining about short battery life and stand by times. Today everyone are using phones with a battery life of 24-48h which felt like a joke back then but works perfectly fine today. That's the chance of usage patterns.
Zeeker 001 1000km edition,140kwh battery,1000km cltc range,real world around 900km range in city.but it’s way to expensive (400k rmb)😢
Yes, too expensive and that's not WLTP. So real range probably more towards 800km.
@@ItsOnlyElectric in high way test it’s close to your numbers, but strangely this car can almost achieve 1:1 cltc in high attitude areas with 90kph avg speed, so I guess zeeker’s new sic module is doing better and their engineers are bit more conservative in the range part of the car.

70000€ for wing edition and 50000€for "basic" edition is very overpriced imo, these electric cars are doomed to fail unless they start producing cars that are good with good range and cost less than 30000€
Cars under 30k€ is then another size and a budget car. A whole nother strategy.
They put hefty tariff on Chinese EVs in Europe. The price for the base model P7 is around €32000 in China.

The interior is nice/good. The exterior ...not for Europe and I am sure if even for China..
Maybe that's the case. But in a more subtle color it looks more sophisticated
they are very popular in china lol, Chinese people love the "futuristic looks" on TVs

Not that much heavier than the competition with similar battery capacity. Wing edition also heavier than the regular
