This needed to be done. Nice work Tyler. The effort is really appreciated by us who can't make it to all the gatherings, but practice the skills. Helps dispel the isolation and encourage the reconnection. Good on you.
Thank you! It will take me some massive effort and time to finish this but I believe it will be worth it.
This series is awesome Tyler, very profound content, great people with the reflection of all the effort and dedication that you are putting into it. Congratulations and thank you for sharing with us your journey.
Saludos.
Thank you for watching this, and thank you for sharing this. Respectfully, me

Once again Brother man, this series is so inspiring. I thank you for such incredible editing and the time spent to put this together. Peace and blessings
Hey Josh, thanks for watching and sharing. I have more videos in the hopper but I will then need to take a pause and catch up with life before I go film some more. I am scheduled to go and film with others mentioned in this video but that is going to take time. Respectfully me.
Whats better than a nice long video from my favourite youtuber!
Two nice long videos? LOL, Thanks, I appreciate that.
Awesome, Tyler. Thank you.
Thanks for watching.
Absolutely incredible series Tyler. You should be very proud.
Australian Survival Instructors Thank you. If anything I’m very lucky.
I'm hooked on this series, Tyler. Thanks for sharing the journey with us...Bo
Thank you for watching these and sharing the video with others. They took a LOT of work, and I plan on doing this with many more instructors of similar caliber as life and time permits.
This is an amazing series. Exceptional men with epic stories. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching. I've still got a few more I need to edit. They take crazy amounts of time and effort. I appreciate you watching and commenting.
I am just beginning my journey learning about primitive & survival skills AND feel blessed to have people like you putting great vids/information out there for us newbies. Will you be teaching at rabbitstick this year (2021)? It will be my first time attending and I have no idea which courses would be best for me??? any suggestions? BTW, I know nothing so I am guessing fire starting would be number 1?
Hi Grace. Yes I’ll be there teaching packs and buck saws. You can take a ton of courses. Message me on FB and I’ll explain more if needed. Friction fire is on going. Or you can find me and I’ll just show you. I’ll have bow and hand drill kits with me. We all will show you around and help you find the classes you want. No class is too advanced. If you are interested do it.
Was great to meet you. I had a bow drill kit to give you at Rabbitstick but forgot.
@@TJackSurvival I will be at Winter Count and maybe Fire to Fire. So much I want to learn. Was fun meeting you and your sweet boy.
An honest introduction in your video. Well Appreciated.
Thank you. I really wasn't sure how I should link this project together and that was my solution.
I'm sure you are aware of how fortunate and blessed you are for being able to be friends with and get to know these icons of this way of life. Saving to playlist
Abundantly. I honestly belive the deepest well of knowledge resides at my finger tips. Let's be honest. One of the main rasons I put so much money and time into these videos is to have access to that knowledge and in my own small way pay it forward as well as pay it back with these movies. As I get both time and money more of them will be popping up on this channel. But they take an incredible amount of time and work and money in camera gear on the back side. A shockingly large amount actually.
TJack Survival oh I imagine so. Believe me, if I could financially help I would but as it seems I play more than I work I can barely afford my own hobbies 😅
Keep it up. I believe reward will follow
Oh, I intend to. I don't expect it to pay back financially, but it has already paid for itself hand over foot with experiences and knowledge and the time I've been able to sit, ask, and learn from true masters. That's what it's all about for me.
TJack Survival damn rights 👍
Thank you for watching, sharing, and commenting. This helps me the most. Respectfully Ty
Wow. Outstanding. I hope there's a part 3 with Mat Graham and Cody Lundin interviews. Either way, nicely done.
I filmed quickly with Matt and yes he is part 3, but I'm still trying to get permission from Cody. My hope is after all of these are up he can make time for a sit-down. That's up to him though.
I'd love to hear Cody's story!
Me too. I've heard it from the people that taught him and I'd like to hear it from him.
To bad we couldn't have some retro interview biographies with Horace Kephardt, George Washington Sears (Nessmuk), and many of the other really forefront frontier book writers ...
OH man I know right. Here's my thought on this process. Future you and our future children are having those interviews now with this series. But I'd still LOVE to go back in time and have a sit down with so many of those men and women. That would be epic.
High quality video.
Hey, man thanks! I'm mostly loving the stories personally.
I saw you on bushcraft build off with Matt Graham on the Discovery Channel. Great job keep up the good work.
Hey thanks, I had a great time on that build.
TJack Survival Matt seems like a pretty cool guy also. Everything I have ever seen with him he is down to earth and always really positive.
That is exactly him in a nutshell. Chill and genuine.
Wonderful. Thank you.
Thank you for watching!
Another fantastic video, David has been a friend since we started our magazine and wrote articles alongside Steve watts for us. Would I'd really like to have a chat Tyler as I think we your journey would be an interesting one many would like to read about.
Hope to hear from you and hear your thoughts.

Wow, much better than part one. Much more secure in his self, than Mr. Holliday that felt in necessary to run down Tom Brown than giving him the credit he deserves.
FreeRange1234 there’s always two sides to every story and everyone’s judgement including yours and mine is clouded by biases.
Yes, but it shows class, or lack there of to attack or credit someone in your same field, who is doing good things despite how you may feel about him or his history.
Well, that actually depends upon the facts of said history don't you think?
Yes it would, other than the accusation of spinning a yarn to promote himself, is there something else? Does he not really know what he is doing, can he not track animals/humans as well as he says, are you suggesting he has not survived alone for months at a time like he has claimed? When I see someone attacked, without solid facts I see jealousy. And it's a little telling that one guy chooses to attack him and the other gives him credit. Just saying it looks petty when you attack a person who is much more successful than yourself and you do it with innuendo Instead of hard facts.
We can chat facts. Like the fact that an old unnamed Indian wasn't teaching a young white boy in New York in the 1960's all of his ancient wisdom. So he had to learn from someone. Who do you think that someone is? Which part of the backstories are fact and which are fiction (lies)? Wouldn't it be the right thing to credit the actual source and not steal and plagiarize? You just don't have all of the backstory because it's been dead for so long but the whole story matters. You should look up Larry D. Olsen and his books and his association with TBJ. You may find it enlightening.
10*
Thanks John!
