Lindsey Buckingham is immense here. His voice adds a whole new dimension and added depth to the song, and his guitar playing is characteristically outstanding (he's always been an underrated guitarist.) He's surrounded by some fine - and loud - musicians here, but he stands out.
Don't blame the company that payed the commercial, it's all the Grammy's for not organizing the show appropriately, also remember what happened in the last Oscars they cut out three essential Oscars for ads. It's a disgrace.

The version of 'a copy of a' sounds a 100 better than when NIN perform it without collaboration. Buckingham's signature finger picking bluegrass guitar playing works brilliantly and grohl/homme really beef it up and give it a lot more grit. That and all the vocal harmonies sound fucking brilliant.

I would loved to have seen some sort of QOTSA/NIN mashed up version of Lindsey Buckingham's Big Love!! Then again it was great enough seeing them all perform together. Fantastic.
Loved it, saw both bands in Brissy, Oz and took my 12 yr old daughter to her first live show. She grew up with Queens so knew all their stuff but had never heard of NIN. She left the venue that night in an extra sml NIN tee. They had gained at least one more fan that night!

I remember this like it was yesterday. The fucking horror as they cut to credits halfway through the only performance of the entire night worth watching. It was the last award show of any type i watched ever again.
I never watched the grammys after that moment as NIN was my band and they got dissed along with their boys. Never again and it just adds to the irrelevancy of that award.

Cool! I'm rewatching and I'm still loving this
I remember this like it was yesterday. The fucking horror as they cut to credits halfway through the only performance of the entire night worth watching. It was the last award show of any type i watched ever again.
I never watched the grammys after that moment as NIN was my band and they got dissed along with their boys. Never again and it just adds to the irrelevancy of that award.
I can't handle the amount of awesomeness on this stage!

Lindsay and Josh are two of my favorite guitarists. I have huge amounts of respect for Dave ant Trent as well. I am surprised I just found out about it. Definitely a super group, but alas only one performance.

This is like a wet dream of the bands I obsessed over from 15 to 17. Jesus it's such a shame it didn't come together but this is amazing footage anyway.

Not sure about the rest of the world, but when this was screened in Australia, they started rolling credits over this, AND cut to black when they hadn’t even reached the solo. How do you do that to a line up like this?!!! I was so pissed.
