Such a wicked good tune...every version Ive seen is unique and yet so similar to eachother. TRENT is a genuinely tallented composer...his music is so diferent from just about anyone else...and Im glad he decided to hang arroumd and continue making music past his Downward Spiral Phase..which was deep dark and spoke to how miserable/sad/depressed he was.
I will never understand why so many people feel the need to film a concert that’s already being filmed. You’re only depriving yourself of the experience of being present. Just watch it and keep actual memories, not recordings.
I was there and when he hit that break at 3:50, I had a Spiritual moment! It was the most amazing experience I have ever had at a concert! Still get goosebumps listening to it!
To come out in an atmosphere like lollapalooza and be by himself and be so quiet and introspective at the beginning of that song but yet still grab hold of the audience...that's amazing
Concert goers these days. Enjoy the show and quit worrying about your damn cellphones. If they are that worried about capturing footage, they do not need to because it will be up on UA-cam by someone else that same night or the next. I remember there was a time when NO ONE brought out their phones, but instead, their lighters - oh how I wish we could go back to those days
Eric Wells i couldn't agree more. The amount of gigs I've been to where people aren't watching the show, they're watching their phones... For what? Some crackly audio and a blurry 43 second video? Also i can't see over all the arms in the air for 2 hours! Get involved people!
My mom used to play me ringfinger when i was a baby im 2 1/2 years away from being 30 years old and to this day i still never heard the entire song because it puts me to sleep needles to say i dont listen to it while im driving
One thing I've always enjoyed about Trent is that he never uses auto-tune at his concerts. I've never heard NIN use auto-tune at a live show and hope I never do.
Trent probably would like it that way. he's a very clever person, often purposefully letting his music get out and drawing people into buying his stuff. :3 man. he still looks like a badass after all those years.
I wish I could get this version on my playlist. There are two live versions of this so much better than the studio version. Don't tell Trent I said that, I'm scared of him.
This track Copy Of A is one that I swore to myself I could not get into it and always had skipped it. After hearing it a few more times and now I find myself singing the first verse. Its not a bad NIN track at all, but for me, just doesnt have that same power as Trent's other tracks do have
This live version is totally different than this live version from later in the same year. This other one, at Staples Center in L.A. is MUCH more intense, and has Ilan Rubin just killing it on a full set of drums. Plus, legendary Pino Palladino on bass. ua-cam.com/video/yA281OuU3rk/v-deo.html
Most talented music writer of the last 30 years consistently.
That goes without saying 👌🏻
Agreed.
Thom Yorke’s up there too I’d say
@@Lightwood745who gives a frenchmans fuck
Couldn't have said it better myself
Jesus, I certainly wouldn't want to pick a fight with Trent, he looks huge!
Gay

Every time I listen to this song it gets better and better! Trent looks bloody amazing! Stay clean man!!

I saw their perform at Korea, 2013. Intro with this stuff was so freaking good. Legend.
their concerts are so neat
He went full Stop Making Sense.
Final Transmission is better. 😉
That’s what this reminded me of too, Stop Making Sense!
Imo this is the greatest song Trent has released.
I was there and when he hit that break at 3:50, I had a Spiritual moment! It was the most amazing experience I have ever had at a concert! Still get goosebumps listening to it!
So so so jealous!! it’s my dream to see NIN live

Eric Wells Ok grandpa
***** You perfectly stated how my body feels all the time. Thanks :) Ok, whippersnapper!

I can understand why they do things like this and if you have the proper equipment, get a freaking press pass, etc.
Cell phone bitches ruin the concerts
The last cosmically epic trip I had was at this Lollapalooza. QOTSA first band then NIN I was peaking right at this song................
My mom used to play me ringfinger when i was a baby im 2 1/2 years away from being 30 years old and to this day i still never heard the entire song because it puts me to sleep needles to say i dont listen to it while im driving
that’s awesome
That set was killer. Best lollapalooza ever
I saw this concert. Blew my mind and still searching to get it back!
This is so amazing, thank you for uploading :).
Same as concert in Milan..... best concert ever seen...
kocham !!!!
Great video. Can't stand the next two weeks until the release!

Autotune is rare in non-pop/rap
From all the Cameras in the audience, it looks like you'll have lots of copies! :D

He really looks good :) I'm so happy doing well.
Proper - Lit & Legit 🙀😎✌🏻
the lighting is absolutely menacing
Nostalgia FIFA 14 😊
8/8 is my mothers' and her fathers' birthday. i remember this very well.
I really love this version. He should play the version more.

Te amo papa

One of my favorite shows in Chicago. Co-headlining with Soundgarden not long before the tragedy.
Shut up old man
Sergio Lara YOUNG MAN!! It’s time for you to get schooled at the YYYYMCA!!
Sergio Lara IN THE NAAAAVY!! Doodedoodedoo
I was there in Chicago. Such a great show. Hate to say it but he outshined soundgarden that night.
thought Closer was his peak but damn this song is almost there
MAN LOOK DEM MUSCLES
I was at this show
trents fuckin jacked~!
Trent is jacked

Ilan Rubin is GOD!
Yep!
His entrance in this video always gives me goosebumps!

They killed it last night in Sydney!!! >:D
Hi louis, how are we after seeing louis with long hair ?
Good but i want see him without cap or whatever this was

There's another Live version that's better than this but this is interesting tho
i heard that NIN will be back this year...is that true????
Trent plays guitar without playing the guitar
Not sure about all that but I do remember when they first started way back in the day he has gotten hotter their out the years
Oh Trent 😂
🪱🤙🌱
What the hell is that little thing that Trent is playing at the beginning of the song?
I didn't know David Spade was the guy who handed Trent the guitar. lololol
MindlessSelfGuitar Joe Dirt’s been everywhere dude! ;)
Fifa
What synth is he using?
+Lonely Owl He's using a Livid Alias 8 controller. What synth it is controlling is the question..sounds like a variation of a TB303.
@@Arperture sounds a lot like a 303, I agree
Which one is Atticus?
Where here to have a bad time!
NIN is like Devo on rhoids. Like hit this. Tap on that. Scratch those buzzes and bells. Totally masked as his own kinda music.
Creat show
U need to ban phones
that'll be 10 cents each please...
Every single person on that stage looks miserable, like they would rather be getting a root canal without Novocain than to be playing that show.
When their done music will stop
Copy Complete
Stop making sense nin version
He defo wrote the guitar part on speed lolol
