When you lose a close friend it can hit so hard and Josh's lesson is so valuable, very difficult to put into practice but most worthwhile things are not easy.
You dont have to dig too much into it to realize Burd wasnt at all "an awesome guy" quite the opposite. With that said it's news to me that Josh was even friends with him or anything, zero relation whatsoever.

Bourdain's passing was the most personally affecting celebrity death for me. That guy was a personal hero. His outlook on life, food, movies and people was just so inspiring.

Crazy how personable he is - watched him at the Criterion in OKC in Sep, no AC. Everyone was pouring sweat, on shrooms, and tripped. Homme gave 150%. He is up there with Tool and Rush imo as far as shows go (much more personable). I hope we get many more years of QOTSA. Dude is legit.
