good strategy to train with the late summer as the focus! I think all runners need to work on their foot dorsiflexion when bringing the foot from behind to the front, we need to lift that foot high instead of bringing it out like a parachute look at an ostrich run and how they bring it through also this will allow the foot to stomp harder on the plant if the foot is already down, then all the potential power is wasted I thought you were really good at this in high school, stomping hard but then I saw that you tend to bring it through already down each stride has to be perfect to win the gold medal!
How are you not sponsored? Already made a world team and contributed to gold medals. Nike sponsors dozens of mediocre distance runners all over the world. Not calling you mediocre. Sad to see you running in a plain black shirt. I’m sure you’re going to get a huge deal soon. Keep pushing.
Young blood, please learn to run with open hands. fingers spread. This allows you to run with more of a relaxed posture. Trust me. The energy is different. I am 61 years old and the bounce is still there. No, I am no longer dropping a 4.35 40-yarder but the movement, the swiftness is.
Look what I found on UA-cam lol, we had breakfast in Lake Buena Vista last December. -Ken the Mid Atlantic pres! Keep up the good work/training/honing your vid skills!
3:17; Think I clocked Charokee Young & Quanera Hayes in the video who ran a good 36.36 300m (#5 in the world) at that meet, who else is in your training group? Both Matt (32.56) & Steven Gardiner (31.78) ran very well in that 300m race!
You are doing fine, Matthew. Miss you back at UGA, though. I am an old UGA grad. Watched every one of your races from HS to now.
I see you qualified for USATF indoors. Hope you have a great meet and come home with a medal.
Cute dog. Love seeing your progression and your coach andteammates
The great white hope!!!
Nice work and cute dog looking forward to your next race.
That 300m was a tough race- Gardiner is tall and smooth. 🔥
