- Today, I'm making healthy hot chocolate three different ways! I'm sharing a traditional hot chocolate recipe, a low calorie hot chocolate (aka hot cocoa), and a hormone-supporting hot chocolate. Regardless of which hot chocolate or hot cocoa recipe you try, you can't go wrong with any of them because they're all delicious!!

I didn’t have time to make a recipe, but I was already making a cappuccino for myself using my Nespresso and a separate Breville milk steamer foamer
So I just added in a spoon of cocoa powder, a little sugar, and a little bit of vanilla. Not even a quarter teaspoon. Delicious!

I love hot chocolate and wanted to know how to make it low carb 💙💙
Just sub the maple syrup with a low carb sweetener.. my personal fav is birch xylitol bc it tastes the most like real sugar with no bitter aftertaste. It is toxic to dogs though so be sure to keep it out of reach! My second fav is monk fruit 🥰

Where do you get the Ashwagandha powder?
Kayla for the first hot chocolate did you use almond milk & coconut milk? Also what kind of regular milk can be used to make it dairy free?
For the first one, I use 1/2 almond and 1/2 full fat canned coconut milk to give it an extra creamy texture.. sorry forgot to mention that in the video! To make it dairy free, you can use any type of plant based milk (almond, cashew, oat, coconut, etc.)

If you bloom the cocoa powder before adding it into the milk it makes a richer chocolate flavor.

There is nothing healthy in these recipes, you can make these healthier but you don't need a whole chocolate bar or a ton of marshmallows or whipped cream. I'll stick to mine.
