My mom grew up poor and didn’t always have food. So she rarely wasted food. She always made banana bread when they bananas were too ripe. She’s an amazing cook and baker. I should have her write down her recipes. I love your channel, new subscriber. ❤️

Thank you for the recipe! I'm new to baking and this was so easy and quick that I ended up making 3 batches in like 2 days lol. Even using lower-quality ingredients(I swapped butter for margarine and brown sugar for white sugar) it turned out so good! First batch got stuck to the loaf pan even though I greased my pan pretty well but it was so tasty I had to give it one more shot. Next day I tried using parchment paper and added a few blueberries to one batch and a couple tablespoons of cocoa powder to the other and they turned out great! Shoutout to the guy posting measurements in grams in the comments. I would've been totally lost without him.

For all my lazy chefs out there, I did this recipe in one bowl with one fork and one spatula. Mixed all the dry ingredients together first and then added the room temp butter and eggs, followed by the cooled down baked bananas and it turned out excellent! Also threw in a half cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and it was phenomenal.

@@isabellagraves8237 I've actually done this recipe with 2 different pans and it worked great both times. One was a glass 8x11 casserole dish and the other was a standard 8.5" x 4.5" metal loaf pan. Did both at 350F for about 50 minutes.
The glass cooked faster since it was more spread out though so you have to keep an eye on it around the 40 minute mark🙂

I creamed butter and sugar with a hand mixer for 2 mins then added the eggs while mixing with 30sec intervals. @@isabellagraves8237 I've used a standard 9x5 loaf pan but only once and since then I have not seen it so I decided to bake it in a 9x9 brownie pan and everytime I've made this I've baked it for 50 to 60 minutes and they always came out perfectly. If you're worried about over/under baking I would check at the 50 minute mark and stick a wooden toothpick or skewer in. If it comes out relatively clean but with a few crumbs it should be fine. If underbaking it is the fear I've stuck it back in the oven for 10 more minutes and it still comes out nice. The bread is fairly forgiving in my experience.

easy recipe, after making it for 4-5 times, i started adding 2 more bananas, for a total of five, and i don t put them in the oven anymore because i noticed that if you don t let them cool properly in the banana peel, and peel them off while they are still hot, to much of the water evaporates from them and they have a dry fell in the cake. So now i mash them with a fork and leave them on the table for 10 minutes, remash them, and they are great, no dry tasting banana bred, even if the bananas were not ripped.
A great and easy recipe and thank you for the metric measurements !

Just had my entire family try it and they LOVED it.
    A few alterations I made:
    - Used whipped up browned butter to bring a nutty flavor when paired with brown sugar. Trust me on this. It's soo much better.
    - I had to measure the brown sugar in cups instead of in weight because 150g originally yielded too much sugar for me!
    - had to separate the batter into 2 baking dishes for baking
    - only baked the bread for about 40 mins in my oven! It was perfectly cooked.

I know of an amazing cupcake recipe using Biscoff and the crackers as a base as well as 1/2 of the cookie for decoration. There's a little bit more to them so if you're interested in the video just hit me up. I'm NOT joking when I say these cupcakes are to die for. My family members actually hid cupcakes to take home, lol. Its a good thing I made 24 of them. It was my 1st time ever using Biscoff in a dessert (never knew of its existence) but it was certainly not my last... 😋

@@littleceasar9351 Yep. Here in America they're called Biscoff biscuits. The spread? Biscoff spread or Cookie Butter (depending on what store you buy them in). At least that's what it says on the 3 pkgs of biscuits and 4 jars of Biscoff spread I have in my cabinet. 🤭 Can you tell just how much I love'em? 😋

Just baked this today and it was delicious! Here are some troubleshooting tips based on my experience:
    1. I did use extremely ripe bananas, so it was slightly too sweet. So make sure you guys adjust the amount of sugar accordingly. The riper the banana, the less added sugar you need. Mine were literally about to decompose lol.
    2. I creamed the butter and sugar for too long. When I added the eggs, it split. If this happens, don't panic. Just add in your dry ingredients and bake. It'll smooth out once you've folded in the dry ingredients and will bake perfectly fine. It's best not to cream the butter and sugar together for too long though. Do it just until the butter is slightly fluffier and a pale yellow in color. The sugar doesn't have to dissolve all the way.
    3. One of my bananas was in the fridge, which brought down the temperature of my batter and caused it to split. USE ALL ROOM TEMPERATURE INGREDIENTS!!
    4. Ovens are very different. I baked mine for five minutes less since my oven is really small. You might have to bake for longer or shorter depending on your oven.

    • @pixiesujira6995

I think the reason your creamed butter and egg split because the eggs were too cold. Happened to me as well.

    • @kangkhita
      @kangkhita Рік тому
