I became disabled a few years ago and my wife works now but while I do a lot of the housework now she still cooks. I’ve been learning, trying recipes here and there but for some reason a lot of them don’t turn out as expected. I know that people protect their recipes tightly and I suspect many recipes are missing “secret” ingredients and/or processes. Anyway, I just got done making this recipe and tasting the results. I may never become the cook of the household but I have a feeling that when she gets home tonight and tries this with coffee after dinner that I might at least become the desert maker. This is my second time using your recipe after that fabulous marble cake recipe. I used less sugar (30 g of brown sugar and 80 g of white sugar), and it didn't affect the texture of the cake at all. It rose as it should, and the crust on top of it was heaven. Definitely recommended.
I just used this recipe and it is perfect! I just added crushed wallnuts before transfering to the mould and sprinkle some on top. And you really have to bake it for 50 mins at least to achieve the perfect moisture. Thank you for this 🙏🏼

I JUST MADE IT. DO RECOMMEND. IT IS THE MOST DELICIOUS BANANA CAKE EVER. i have tried so many recipes and this is the best one so far. Here's a list of recommended changes.( I made these and it made it sooo much better) 1. Instead of milk, use buttermilk ( add like 1 tsp vinegar or lemon juice to the milk. Let it sit for 5 mins, add that) 2. Add loads of dry fruits. I'm talking about 0.5 to 1 cup of them. I added walnut and almonds. Use what u like. 3.Increase the cinnamon according to ur taste. I added double and there is still potential for more. 4. I also replaced both sugars with shakkar to make it healthier and tastier. 5. It says 2 or 3 bananas. I added like 4. 6. Instead of totally mashing the banana, make it so it has chunks left, it tastes better.(trust me on this one) 7. I replaced half the amount of butter with olive oil. Made it so much more moist. ENJOY!!

@Ammu The mixture is quite wet so you don't need to use an electric blender. It's not strenuous to mix the ingredients by hand at all.

I made this yesterday evening! It was superb!!! I doubled the quantities as my round baking tray was much bigger than the one you used. I baked it for 40 mins. It turned out SO good, so moist, so yummy, so perfect, it was delicous, thaaank you!!

Hi my cake turned out fabulous, the only difference was I used salted butter so did not add salt! Also used a cake mould as I dint have a bread pan!! Thanks!!! Will be making it often

I made this but I replaced milk with buttermilk and only added 80g of dark brown sugar and it came out so moist and delicious! Not overly sweet. This is my go-to banana cake recipe ☺
